Yeah, okay, so you know how I said in my pre-game question responses that I'm a very positive, likable player and then created a 4-page thread that ridiculed the majority of my fellow contestants? Yeah, well, I realize the contradiction there and I promise I really do have an accurate self-perception, so the positivity starts with my in-game confessional thread, right NOW.

So, first thing's first, my Ranking of Who I Want To Work With Based Solely Off First Impressions and Rep Choices;

(wow this is a large cast)

1) Baylor: Is being active but is not being obnoxious, seems to be on my wavelength, is Baylor, likes Sandra over Parvati
2) Kat: Is also being not obnoxious, seems really nice, didn't ignore my This or That question
3) Gervase: Low-key guy, isn't trying to hard, great rep choice
4) Dana: Seems chill
5) Jefra: was in and out with the poop or pee question, which i can respect. even though Jefra is like the most basic, unoriginal rep choice everrr (no offense, host sierra)

yeah, that's basically everyone i got particularly positive vibes from

6) Chicken: great rep choice and potentially great inactive scapegoat
7) Matty: Very mild positive vibes and good rep choice except when you're Grant
8) Caleb: sort of annoying but also sort of likable, jury is out
9) Julia: not horrible, has had some decent moments in the meet and greet
10) Spencer: Vaguely cool
11) Marisa: hasn't annoyed me
12) Eliza: hasn't annoyed me but this is the 3rd game out of 4 I've played with an Eliza, which, I love eliza orlins, but cmon now

UGH See this still isn't me being positive. But this is all first-impression based. I bet once the game starts, I tolerate or like the vast majority of these folks, pre-game just brings out the most unlikable in people (except me who waits til during the game to be a turd)

Butch's Quick 'N Dirty Pre-Game Impression of His Tribe (emphasis on the quick, not the dirty):

Debbie: Going to drive me insane and hopefully drive everyone else insane
Chicken: Super inactive on the board thus far, hopefully thats a sign of things to come, as its always good to have one or two inactive around at the start
Reynold: Eh, not sure I'm ever going to love him, but we may be able to work together well, who knows
Sash: Not really sure one way or another on Sash, he could be a really cool guy, we shall see
Gervase: I know for a fact I wanna work with Gervase. He's chill, he's low-key, I like him so far...definitely eager to hit him up

I just am afraid how it is going to unnecessarily undo all the hard work I am doing socially to make connections to put myself in a good spot on the tribe, only to have everything blown up because someone wanted to change the target to the person they want to assassinate at the expense of sound strategical gameplay. If I get voted out as a direct result of the assassination twist, Im gonna be pisssssssed. Not to mention all the ridiculous item shenanigans that could come from the market, putting a bunch of items into play, which would be infuriating. It's just a lot of complicating factors in play all at once in this game, if you ask me, when I'm over here just trying to make connections and not be a target, in the stage of the game, early pre-merge, that I usually excel at. But you play the game as the game needs to be played, I guess. We'll work it out.

Sydney is the only person who's talking to me right now. It's going eh. 5/10.

Upside of Playing as Butch: Butch is awesome

Downside of Playing as Butch (as opposed to Erik, Erik, or Brett): Flirting with female characters is really creepy

But no, Kat really is really cool and I recommended she talk to Gervase and she recommended I talk to Sugar (ugh) and I think we have a real good thing going on. Also, she is a real, live girl.


Also, you know what I hate? My last game, my closest ally was a Kimmi, and her name ALWAYS autocorrected to "iimmi" and in THIS game, it looks like Gervase is gonna end up being one of my closest allies, and HIS name keeps autocorrecting to "grease"

why can't I have 1 closest ally who has a name that autocorrect recognizes???
