So I'm really, really excited to get this game started. It's been /kind of/ awhile since I've played one?! So I'm super pumped to get back into it. Let's hope I don't overplay and get that B-E-A-U-tiful 24th place boot.
This cast seems active so far? I mean you had people like Sugar, Caleb and Debbie who were all pretty vocal during the Meet n Greet, but we also had people who didn't even show their face. Granted, I know I wasn't one of the more talkative ones but at least I played that game no one played right. ;x
I love alias games and I love repping a character you really love and aligning with people that you loved from the show. I feel like that's how they all start right? You're drawn to people like Caleb and Michele who were you absolute favs, but give me a week and I bet I'll have a final 2 with someone like Butch or Chicken, gross haha.
So four tribes are interesting and seeing who we're with already was a nice little surprise to get me pumped for tomorrow night. I cleared out my Saturday night like the productive person of society that I am for launch night because it really is THE most important day in the entire ORG. Some of the most concrete and solid alliances begin in the first hour of the game and I really want to be around for it and I'm also just going to go for it and try to make one really quick. I like Caleb and he seems really fun on the board so he's who I'm going to talk to first. I haven't really seen much from Brad, Eliza or Matty. *kinda hopes for an inactive*
Alright, I've introduced myself and I've rambled enough. I'm a super paranoid and frustrating person to watch and/or to work with so apologies if I even make it far and you have to suffer through that.
Day 1 and I've never felt like I've gotten off so strong so quickly? Within the first day I've managed to slot myself in an alliance with Jefra and Eliza and I've grown ~increasingly~ close with Caleb. Calling Matty or Brad as a first boot this round if like we all go to tribal and we go to 20 people like that. If that's not the case I'm not worried about losing because I think our tribe is really active and strong.
So I got on and the first person I speak to from my tribe is Eliza and Spencer from the other. Eliza was amazing and super chatty, a tad paranoid, but pretty cool. She actually seemed so paranoid she strung together an all girls alliance between myself, Jefra and her. I liked Eliza and she seemed to be able to carry on a conversation, but Jefra was BLAND. I couldn't really get much out of her and it was super brief. We spoke strategy in the Girls chat about which guy we wanted to pull in and she seemed to be on my side about Caleb so that was cool. She didn't really stick around much, but I'll give the girl a break since it is the first night.
I talked to Eliza through the day, said I trusted her the most, etc etc so I think she feels pretty mutual towards me. She wants to bring in Caleb to make a foursome (sound familiar?) so that's who we want. You can't count Brad or Matty out at all because it is so early, but it's nice to not me on the outside. A six person tribe is so small and there's nowhere to hide.
I talked with Michele for awhile and I realllllly liked her and we hinted around about working together and stuff so that could be a X-faction alliance brewing maybe?
There's nothing like finding a solid ally on the first night and that person happened to be Caleb! c:3 I wanted to talk to Caleb since the meet and greet and he turned out to be a really cool guy! We immediately hit it off and actually pledged loyalty. Like, loyalty to the point where a ride or die was created. Now maybe we got a little hasty, but I truly believe these alliance are the strongest within the game. It SUCKS that he's my bounty target so that's not happening. I think he trusts me a lot and I will tell him everything moving forward, but I'm hesitant to come clean with the girls :\ alliance so fast. Like, if we're solid there's no reason to buckle and can get the boys out if we lose BUT I like Caleb the most out of everyone so he's not going anywhere, lol.
I'll see how my relationship with Caleb goes and maybe I'll put the girls on blast to Caleb to show him how trustworthy I am, but I still would want to vote Brad/Matty if we lose.
I feel like I'm in a good spot and I've covered my bases? I have numbers on my side and I think I've made a decent first impression with everyone. An all girls alliance and a final 2 in one night has to credit something to me, right? :ok:
So that's the dealio from my perspective in the mountains. I like where I'm out and I'm not one for constant shuffles so PLEASE let's stay tribes for at least like 1 or 8 rounds. :sideeyes:
Real quick, the other faction seems boring. I spoke to Marisa, Jonny and Spencer and none of them interests me. Jonny was good, but he just like gave up, lmao.
Dana (bc she fucked w Michele), Sugar, Tom, Gervase....and Chicken? That's not bad for being on mobile, EH.
Alright, enough bragging and I'm just beyond thrill we get the night off. :clap: I haven't NOT gone to the first tribal council in an org in YEARS so this is a biggie. So much strategy and shuffling was discusses today and it really just made things complicated. I feel like I'm somewhat overplaying, but this whole faction stuff and talking to other people not in your tribe makes things really interesting. You're able to talk to and say things to these people you can have no intention of keeping because you'll never go to tribal with them, for now. It makes strategy interesting bc I personally feel I have a lot of fluid alliances right now and it's only Day 2. ;o

I do like Spencer and Michele quite a lot and I haven't really bonded with the others. Fairplay is cool I guess? Like I don't even have an opinion on James, Baylor or Marisa right now. Marisa can be cool when she wants to talk, but eh. I actually really enjoy my tribe. I feel pretty pressed in the center so I don't feel uncomfortable. I 100% trust Caleb the most on my tribe... to the point where I told him about the girls alliance. :x
Like, I was feeling it in the moment because majority, whatever and I was tryna slay like Anna on Kaoh Rong BUT Jefra sucks and I think Eliza is gaming as much as I am lol so I don't really trust her. She's fun to talk to and Caleb's pitch to her about her/Brad/me/him was p cool imo :ok: but I'm glad I told Caleb. I think it was a good move? Considering I can see this game having multiple tribe shifts it's good to have that #1.
Caleb is just hammering how important it is we go keep being Shogun and get coins and stuff for the island. I agree I don't even know what they do and I have a STUPID bounty target so that won't help me there. Do we have to keep track of it or you got that all tco?
Alright I guess my objectives for the day off is to solidifying relationships with the Ki side more so. I'm really being lazy with the other four, but they're just sooooo boring. Marisa and Fairplay I could try, but James sucks and Baylor doesn't exist.
Kinda feel bad the girls trust me so much and I, in turn, use that info to help out Caleb. Jefra asked me about the Brad/Caleb/me/Eliza alliance and said Caleb's been playing hard. She told me Eliza told her about it so she's all paranoid and worried. I assured her us three girls? we're pretty tight and she should be fine.
I need to tell Caleb that Eliza is outting him and he needs to just be more careful of her lmao.
So another round where we have absolutely nothing to worry about. I'm happy because it gets to tighten the bonds we already have on Sakai and now we'll have the most people left after this round. Not that that's really saying much because I feel like something will happen soon (dissolving, swap, etc) and I hate waiting for impending doom.
Caleb got to go to the island last round and now it's my turn to bring home an awesome af prize! If luck can just be on my side and let me get that idol from the chance I won't ask for anything again. I talked it over with Caleb and I said if I win the idol I'm not going to tell the girls because that's too much power between two people. Granted, I think they think I'm more with them over Caleb, but seems too sticky. Not that many people need to know about the location of two idols.
It sucks that it can't just keep alternating between Caleb and myself :( but next round I think I would push for it to be Jefra over the other three? She seems to have less game than Eliza and I don't want Brad or Matty to go because they need to stay neutralized and powerless.
Just gonna keep talking up with Spencer/Marisa and keep building up that and then obviously making Brad and Matty feel okay, at least in my graces. I have my girls and I have Caleb and I feel pretty protected with all of that.
There's not even anyone I seriously hate yet which is shocking, so gj on creating this love tribe on Sakai. :heart:
