So like I said, I wanted to give Edgic a shot this season. Anyone and everyone is welcome to contribute and I'm sure the chart would benefit from having multiple perspectives on it. I know Navneet and Ty have both expressed interest in helping as well. I'm going to post the updated chart in this thread within a day of each round ending but anyone can post in this thread with any updates they disagree with and what they recommend it be changed to, I promise I won't be offended!!

This is quite frankly my first time doing edgic so please correct me wherever I am wrong. Also I am too lazy to do an excel sheet with color coding :(

@aaron i'm waiting for the round to end
@navneet don't worry, i can take care of the coloring and stuff. at first glance the only problem i have with yours so far are all the INVs (also INV2 isn't really a feasible edgic since having a visibility higher than 1 means you aren't invisible). i'm sure there are a few people who are sorely lacking in confessionals but still but i wouldn't have that many INVs especially since a lot of those people put in a good-faith effort into the challenge

i'm going to try to avoid INV altogether though, because UTR1 is usually sufficient for those cases. INV is generally for people who disappeared off the face of the earth that round (no confessionals, no challenge participation, possible self-vote)

If Ryan does not get an OTTN, something is wrong with the world.

Also most of Carnegie is probably OTT too.

that would be second person visibility (SPV)
it definitely factors into their edgic, but if it's not substantial then it's not enough to pull them out of UTR. usually SPV helps in defining someone as OTT because people tend to talk about the people they think are abrasive and crazy. but if it's just something like "i like X so i'm thinking of aligning with him" it doesn't really do much for X if they don't have any insight of their own to offer

uhh I disagree. SPV is the most important factor in Edgic for ORGs.

there's no possible way Kate would be UTR this round. she's near the center of her tribe.

i haven't read most of the confessionals yet, i'm waiting for the round to end so i can do it all at once instead of having preconceived notions about anyone going into it
yeah i can see how SPV is more important in ORGs and obviously i'm more familiar with edgic for the actual show so i'll keep that in mind. but i'm just saying it would be hard for me to justify someone not being UTR if they don't give any of their own insight into their situation. i'm obviously not privy to conversations that are happening but i don't really see how i could call kate CP just because she's at the center of the tribe considering i don't actually see any of her personality yet
i'm sure she'll actually post a confessional before the round is over

also i feel like you can be UTR and still be at the center of the tribe. and it's not like everyone i list as contenders will be all the CP people

I sorta agree. I think it's almost impossible to give someone a CP if they don't write confessionals. But I think that it can't just be UTR -- it could be MOR or OTT as well. If Stacey doesn't write a confessional, her photohunt submissions alone might qualify as OTT.
