Garrett: You were the Captain of this tribe and the one who formed it. How do you think you did? Happy with the tribe you've assembled here, even after the loss? Even though I had to base my decision on very few information and I wish I had been more chatty before the tribes were assembled, I think I couldn't be happier with this tribe. We might have lost, but at least we looked very hot doing it and looks is all that matters in this game!

Zane's all but toast. He's being blamed for botching the challenge even though he thinks it was Sierra (I think it was a combo of all three of them tbh). He's considered pretty awkward so he's been an immediate outsider, even on this goofy outsiders tribe. He knows it's him or Sue, so he's pushing everyone to boot her. He has an alliance with Taj but he knows he needs more, so he went to Sierra and was confident she was voting alongside him



Sierra...is not voting with him. Sierra's having to play nice and lead him on a bit, she seems to feel a bit bad because Zane trusts her. But Sue is one of her favorite people on the tribe so she wasn't gonna take her out. Sierra's pretty tight with everyone on her tribe



Garrett seems to be doing pretty well! People on his tribe seem to find his strange behavior endearing which is great. He has individual deals with Taj, Vytas, and Sierra, with Vytas and Sierra being his top two. He finds Zane weird (GARRETT....finds Zane weird), so he has no issues with booting him, they don't have much of a relationship



Vytas is doing well. No one has anything negative to say about him (this is a super positive tribe overall). He loves Garrett and the two are working together. I think he said he was also approached by Sierra and Taj? And Sue? I can't remember from the video, but he's in a good spot



Sue's voting Zane obviously, she has no other play tbh. I can't see her and Zane getting together to do something, they don't seem to be tight at all. She has Sierra in her corner which is big, I think Sierra is her top ally on the tribe



Taj has quite the dilemma on her hands. Zane was her first alliance at the start of the game. The tribe finds Zane awkward but Taj says she enjoys awkward and gets along fine with him. She tried to fight for him to stay in an effort to get Sue out, but didn't fight too hard since it's so early (smart of her). She's really worried that Sue/Vytas/Garrett/Sierra are a thing and that her and Zane are on the outs, especially since they all decided to boot Zane so fast. Taj has been working on Garrett and Vytas to improve her position for future rounds. But for now, she's sadly forced to betray her first friend Zane :(

Zane's gonna be fairly surprised tonight I think. He believes he has at least two sure votes in Taj and Sierra, but that's obviously not the case. I don't expect him to try hard to flip it for the rest of this afternoon because they seem to have him blinded at the moment. Though he IS searching for HII masks right now so who knows what he's thinking

This tribe is gonna be super complicated if/when Zane goes. Really not sure what would happen if they go to TC again. You would think it would be Sue, but Sierra is real tight with her so who knows. The five outside of Zane are a big web of friendships and alliances. Who do you guys think is in the best spot on this tribe?

Zane found an incorrect mask and it looks like he gave the location to Caryn. She's at three now

NEXT TIME ON SURVIVOR...

Sue tries to rebound after a fairly inactive first round by creating a new majority alliance of 3 or 4.

Kim/Rory/Caryn/Kelley is proposed, but Kim's hatred of her fellow returnees and alienating herself from the rest of the cast may provoke Erik replacing Rory.

JFP creates an alliance, unknowingly on the outs, and Stephen raises his white flag.

And Garrett begins on his path to eventual victory.

Zane's got two masks now, he's gonna have to leave them to someone when he's booted. No idea who he'll pick. He's closest to Taj but she's betraying him this round

If he chooses Sierra then she gets the Sangoma idol, but I'll be surprised if he picks her

When Zane goes I'm okay with Pink tribe being Matsinged so long as Garrett survives

Hopefully Zane gives his masks to Sue for being the only one not lying to him

On one hand I'm sad that Zane won't stick around and develop into a bigger character later. That's apparently his thing, be weak early on and barely skate by and then emerge as a character later. Sad that we won't get to see that

On the other hand I'm a bit glad (: . I kinda assumed he'd be in trouble early if he stuck with his usual strategy. It's way too hard to skate by on these tribes, you gotta put some effort in and I don't think he's giving 100% right now

In a series like this, it is way too intense to just skate by for the first couple rounds. I read a little bit and I was never really sold on Zane.

I love the mask twist though. You guys are eeeeevil.

Yeah I've seen Zane play really solidly before so I'm honestly a little surprised that he isn't fighting harder. Why is he taking what everyone says at face value? He acknowledges that he's on the chopping block and that should have him more on edge!

If you aren't exhausted and stressed in this series then that should be a huge red flag that somewhere else, people are, and they're playing the game hard, with or without you. No vote should seem easy to tack down in Sausage.

nah. frankly sue isn't that strategically savvy. she can be but after overplaying g&e8, i think she tries to take it a little too easy and follow others instead of making her own obvious moves. that's where the downfall of not being an actual survivor viewer comes; she doesn't entirely understand how to strategize correctly from game to game without a more seasoned player to guide her somewhat

sue is pretty much all social game at this point, which means her work schedule is really hurting her game, so i hope she can pull it together

I think there is nothing wrong with sitting back and chilling. It's way harder on small tribes, I agree. What it seems to me is that Zane doesn't really have the social ties to do anything. Just him coming to Sierra proves that he's not completely in the loop. I wish him and Taj worked out, if he put in the effort to talk to more people things might be different, that's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.
