MERGE! I can't believe we're here already. I say that every season but still

RIP Peter :(((. I was happy when it was Peter vs. Abi knowing that one would at least make Jury though. Peter ushering people into the Jury forum might be amusing

Our format was REAL different this season. More than any other season, all of these players kept talking about how the series is known for swaps and that there were obviously impending swaps. NOPE! No TRUE swap at all this time

We've wanted to merge three tribes into one for awhile now. I'm glad we're finally able to see it play out. Post-Reject twist, there were three IC's and three boots. Going into merge, the tribes could've only been 4-4-4, 5-4-3, or 5-5-2. I would've been happy with any of the three outcomes

I think it'll be a different kind of merge vibe going forward than our previous seasons. Two groups of five having been together since the start with no swap is very different for us. I'm excited to see how it all plays out

This is a REALLY good merge group imo, tons of people who are gonna really fight for it. So many strong players in every category and a lot of complicated relationships. I can't wait to see what goes down at this first vote

OH and Purple Kelly found the Sebou Idol just in time. Yul waited too long and didn't get to it in time :(

The Rejects Idol will remain unfound. So we're entering the merge with two Idols, one in the hands of Charlie the Dadès Captain, another in the hands of Kelly the Sebou Captain. At first I was meh on them two finding it but now I kinda love that each Captain has one. It's gonna make the upcoming power struggle all the more intense

This is all tough. I think a lot of people fit into a lot of these categories.

Rooting for Betsy to Denise this shit.

Each side is fighting for JR/Betsy's love as they should be. Ken was smart by promising Betsy that if she helped him take out two Dadès members, then they can take out a few original Sebou's after so that Betsy feels comfortable

I haven't seen any strong hints as to which way JR/Betsy are leaning yet. JR badly wants to target Charlie, Eddie, Marisa, and Kelly. JR is like the new Abi, I hope he gets his revenge so badly

On top of the clear 5-5-2, there's still a ton of cross-tribal stuff going on. Different pairs are making pacts to turn the vote talk away from them and onto one of their allies instead. Some of these deals are gonna break soon for sure

Bill and Yul officially made a F2 pact. Bill's all for it, but Yul seems to not care about betraying it if it comes down to that. Yul has a ton of drive to win

Each one talked to J'Tia and she spilled a ton of stuff about her old tribe's dynamics. Not everything, but still quite a bit. Yul seems to want to work with her and Hayden, but Bill was less impressed with J'Tia's conversation and now wants her gone first

Yul also mentioned cutting a deal with Betsy similar to Ken's. They get rid of original Dadès members, and then instead of JR/Betsy just getting 6th and 7th, the two team up with Yul/Bill to go against Kelly/Ken/Marisa

In terms of the original Dadès five and the original Sebou five, which group would you guys rather see get the upper hand?

I'm not a fan of the Ken/Kelly/Marisa threesome so I'd rather see Dadés get the upper hand however I am ultimately rooting for JR/Betsy/Yul/Bill to come together

I don't care for either side as a whole. There were people on both sides I really disliked and some that I liked. The ones I liked the most were rejects.

But I would rather see Dadès side take it home because I want to see Marisa die. But Yul can win if not Betsy.
