I really wish it was eddie. Poor Hayden :(
Eddie will probably continue with his weird anti-rejects stuff after this. I wanna know what he's thinking

Dadès really fucked this up, and more specifically, Eddie fucked this up by transparently targeting the rejects. I don't get it! Even if you don't trust the rejects, it should be very obvious that the other tribe would try to pull them in also. Poor Hayden :(
I think J'Tia is playing this whole ridiculousness the best. She's been branching out with Betsy, Kelly, and Ken. I can see her Vecepia'ing her way to the end.

So my confessional in this round hasn't contained a lot of "meat" if you will. Part of me was kinda feeling like you were getting all the juicy tidbits from other places, and I've been busy doing things like sucking in the challenge and chatting with the new people.
I think I already went over my merge strategy in that questionnaire. I was gonna see if my Dadès team could pull something together, but if they couldn't, I was going to completely distance myself from them to the former Sebou's by talking about how my closest ally was Dan and how I've been floating near the bottom of the tribe dynamics. My logic was that, if they wanted to send home a Dadès member, at least it maybe wouldn't be me.
Eddie started things off by telling me that he wanted to get the two of us in some sort of deal with Bill. I said yes but I was so not about that plan. I don't really think Bill is very interested in me and vise versa. It's clear Eddie had some early game alliances with these people, and he's drawing a clear path to get himself to the end. Sorry Eddie! I think you rock, brah, but I'm not gonna just sit and help you win this game.
Eddie's plan was to boot a reject, someone both Dadès and Sebou could agree on sending out of the game.
I hoped Yul was going to be my ace in the hole. No one else on Dadès really likes Yul, but he and I connected earlier in the game and I hoped he'd have a plan for me. He pretty much only wants to go the route of "keeping each other safe." That strategy doesn't help in the numbers game at all. It's the polite way of saying "I like you, but I'm good."
Things could still take off with Yul, but I'm kinda over him.
My biggest surprise was how well I got along with Betsy. She came to me a little perplexed that Dadès hadn't approached her about voting together. I told her the truth, it's because Eddie kinda wanted to boot her. I told her I was going to keep her name off the chopping block, and we both expressed interest in an alliance in the next round of the game. I would like working with Betsy and putting together some sort of rejects alliance.
Today, J'tia explained to me that it looks like Betsy and JR are going back to their Sebou tribe members and voting off one of us. It prolly has something to do with the fact that Eddie was targeting them. Bad move, Eddie.
J'tia thinks Eddie or Charlie is going home, but I wouldn't be shocked if it was me. My strategy with Sebou was to show them I wasn't connected to Dades... they might look at that and feel confident that I won't get an idol played on me. We'll see how it all plays out, but it looks to be out of my hands on this one. Sebou won't talk game to us. |

Poor Hayden. He's been branching out to both Rejects and Sebou but it's not gonna end up working out for him. Both Betsy and Yul are gonna be forced to vote for him here. Hayden acknowledges that Eddie's move to target Rejects was a poor one, and now Hayden's the one who's gonna pay for it

Any insight in Eddie's confessional on what he was thinking? My phone won't load the video

I have never actually seen a tribe go into merge this poorly with this much horrible strategy. I realize it is basically all Eddie but at some point if I was the rest of them I would have went to the other tribe and basically said Eddie is insane lets just vote him out.
I know this puts them down in numbers but it should be obvious they were going to lose someone with Eddie playing stupid.

I have always liked Hayden, but he was never one of my main favorites. But watching this play out is sad.
And also J'tia continually shocks me! She's great!

Never would've worked unfortunately. No way Sebou would believe that, they'd think they were trying to get them to vote for Eddie so they could play an Idol on him

Sooooooo Eddie ruined his tribes chances of winning this vote. Charlie will be wasting his idol. Hayden victim card has kinda failed with some people cause he thought he was low on the totem poll with Dadès even though he was not.
Now I wait for what Jonathan will add to this Dadès fail.
