Aha, so aLóng with Joe, Nick voted for AUBRY to win, and Debbie voted for MICHELE to win. I figured it was the opposite, but after listening to Michele's interviews, apparently not.
Nick is way better than most gave him credit for tbh. He started out as a one dimensional tool on paper but he seems very respectful and understands that it's a game
I don't even understand why Julia is so butt hurt at Cydney?? Julia was the one who turned away and went with the douches. Scot and Jason just suck so not surprised they are bitter bitches
^^There were rumors Cydney and Julia had a fight but I don't know why that wouldn't make the show if it did happen
I am happy Michele won. And I am drinking the tears of the people crying about it. It reminds me of the Russell fans during Samoa. Except in this instance Aubry was more deserving than Russell. Bottom line is she didn't make any connections on that Jury aside from the Brains people. People forget that you are giving someone 1 million dollars in real life. You are going to want to give it to someone you like

Agree with all of this but super agree with the bold. People love to talk about strategy and respecting the game but at the end of the day you will win the million dollars if and only if a plurality of the jurors want you to win a million dollars, and the most foolproof way to get people to give you a million dollars is to make them like you.
I will say that showing that is something that's fallen by the wayside for the editors since Tocantins in favor of the IDOLZ N BLYNDSYDEZ style of storytelling that is more prevalent because events like that happen in a brief moment and are easy to show on TV. The downside is that nowadays if somebody sticks to the tried and true method of "Be the most likable person in FTC" without any of those storytelling moments, the show doesn't know how to effectively sell their story to the audience, and we're left with a huge portion of the fanbase throwing around words like deserve as if they mean anything.

Thanks for posting that Lex, made it so I didn't have to hunt it down.
Wow, I love the shit out of Cydney. Such a smart, cool chick she really is. As for the reprehensible behavior of Scot and Jason (and Julia) well....
Jason, we know is an ass. He's also a bounty hunter. I'm sorry but they're all assholes to some degree. This is probably what I'll get the most flack on, but if they weren't assholes, they'd be even more productive members of society. My father was a cop and I've known a few bounty hunters....these are people who for whatever reason, can't really exist as normal members of society so they're rounding up criminals. Provides a valuable service, but NOTHING about Jason shocked me one iota.
Julia....I guess you can chalk it up to being young? I don't know if that's a good enough excuse, but best I've got.
Scot ought to be more mature, I think he IS, but I think being around someone like Jason and having a partner in crime, brings out his worst side.
"Michele says they didn't show this but after Neal chastised her Michele put up her middle finger, said fuck you and drew an exclamation point with her finger."
Around 3:08 Joe talks about Aubury in the game. He says how she went back and forth a lot then goes on to say how it was hard having a conversation with her because she was always preoccupied with the game. If Auburys closest ally felt like that this it's some indication at least of less than stellar social game.

That, and even if it had been Cydney and Michele in the finals, which I believe is how Michele would've preferred it, Michele would've won I believe. Nick, Aubry, possibly Debbie, and possibly Joe might've voted for Cydney, but I don't see her getting other votes. So there might've been a razor thin opportunity for Cyd to win (would've been great) but...
I think Michele would have slaughtered any of them, frankly. When she won that final immunity challenge, it was over. :um:
