I really wanted to post in the podcast thread that there is no need for me to do one considering I'm going to be winning and you guys will see me at the reunion, but I feel like people may not have my sense of humor and take offense to it. Anyway I fell asleep from like 4 to 6, and missed 2 hours of talking. I have no idea which captain is going to pick me because two of them aren't the best at responding to me. I made a Round 1 picture like 2 days ago and I've been waiting for us to have tribes to post it since I think this may be Pre-game still. I'm really not sure. | |

So tonight was when captains picked the tribes. I'm sitting there like it's a reaping ceremony and my name is about to be called to go into the Sausage Games. Everyone is messaging me saying how nervous they are, I'm nervous myself and I feel like it's taking hours. I start getting messages from people and they are saying they found out what tribe they are on, and I'm sitting here smiling awkwardly waiting for someone to fill me in on what tribe I'm on. Finally Fran messages me, and I'm just sitting here like
I figure out that Joe, Kenny, and Jenna are not on my tribe. I liked those three the most probably. So I'm sitting here like great, who the hell is on my tribe. I see I'm on a tribe with people I didn't really connect with that much, so I'm kind of bummed but it's not the end of the world because I'm pretty sure I can get in where I fit in. On my tribe I mostly only like two people, which would be Nick and Jaison, so I will mostly be flirting with those two because it's fun and I have nothing else to do. I'm really shocked that Fran picked me second. I didn't really build a strong connection with her, but it makes me feel good inside knowing I made an impression on her and was able to be swooped up second. Stacey is probably my least favorite on the tribe. I don't think her The Help shtick is all that funny or entertaining. Chicken is still inactive. He did message me today for all of 5 minutes then left. Honestly picking an alliance on this tribe will be like picking which runt of the litter you want the most.
On to the twist. First, cross tribal communication is not allowed.
Thank you LORD. And by Lord I mean Brett and Lex. I did not want to have to talk to 26 other people. I would have ended up ignoring half of them. This gives me time to focus on 8 other people and build the strong social ties I want to. Only downfall to this is I won't be able to form alliances with some of my pre-game favorites, so hopefully they won't forget about me. The second twist is the nine dragon thingie, where I get paired with two people from the other tribe. Can I get a drumroll please? I get fucking Jeremiah and Trish.
It's not that I don't like Trish, but I wanted someone better like Kenny, Jenna, or Joe. I have nothing to say them really, and now I have to pretend like it was Christmas morning when I realized they were in my trio. I'm just not a huge fan of them at the moment but we'll see. Also I don't see them every giving me any valuable information. Like thy are just kind of there to talk to me when their tribes aren't there. They will totally be in this for themselves, but then again so will I.
Anyway we have a challenge right now, I'm really happy I got the three minutes because I'm lazy and don't feel like posting for 9 minutes. I don't see us winning though. This tribe doesn't look strong at all. I don't really want to lose though, I'm not ready to start testing loyalties with these people.
Anyway I will update you tomorrow to see if any of my opinions of these people change. As I finish typing this I started talking to Jaclyn and I dislike her less, so I'm sure I will be chipper tomorrow.

I logged on this morning expecting to see all my tribe mates who didn't feel the need to come online last night to at least say hello to me, and they are still all offline minus Jaison. Last night the only people online were myself, Caleb, Fran, Jacklyn, Nick, and Stacey. Stacey was only on for like 30 minutes after tribe reveal and Caleb didn't come on until like midnight so I don't know if I should even count those two. I got really close with Nick last night. We talked about how it's like we've been friends for years or something, which I don't think he really means it, but I just need him to think that I'm in love with him so he never turns on me. He really is a sweet guy and he said I'm in his favorite person in the game so I hope he sticks around. I talked to Jaclyn some last night and we talked about how excited we are to be on the same tribe. I'm really starting to like her, so I regret any negative things I said about her. I'm still not a fan Stacey. She is trying way too hard to be funny. I talked to Caleb last night and fell asleep on him, which should say something about his conversation skills. He told me he was watching survivor and never came back until I was asleep. Jaison was lovely to talk to this morning. I really like him, probably the most on the tribe aLóng with Nick. If those two weren't here I would probably be screaming eternally cause talking to some of these people would drive me crazy
So today I have to complete the immunity challenge and finish up shit for the Rustic Finale. Everyone thinks I'm at work, which I don't know if they are dumb or what but I respond instantly when people message. I don't know many people who work at Universal who can respond this quickly, but I'm not missing ample times to communicate just to make it seem like I have a job. I plan on betting lowish on this challenge and playing it safe. I would rather bring some points to the table than none at all. I'm not worried for myself, cause I don't think people will vote me out this early, there is literally no reason to do so. But yeah here's a little update for y'all :)

Omg we are terrible. Can we change our name to The Flops because that performance was just pitiful. We didn't even get half of their points. Anyway I feel like this vote shouldn't be hard, but I'm in a weird spot. Earlier in the day Chicken messaged me and offered to watch each other's back for this round. So obviously I accepted, what am I supposed to say no? After the challenge I was waiting to hear a name from someone and Caleb brings up his name first, and I tell Nick that Caleb suggested it and he agreed with it so I think the vote is going to land on Chicken, which I'm fine with because Chicken sucks at talking and is rather boring when he does talk, but he offered me a deal so I have to accept it and now I'm breaking my word round #1 which sucks. Nick was saying he talks to Jaison a lot, and then Caleb/Jaclyn a close 2nd after Jaison, so I think he is hinting at an alliance he wants to form but I don't know. I will fill you in when everything gets decided later <3 | |
