I like being able to read wherever I'm at. Usually don't have headphones and it would be weird to listen to when people are around me. But they are fun to do and they are more personable and enjoyable if I have the time to listen. | | |

I'm just going to throw out there that this swap is nearly perfect. I am expecting this to be the last set of tribes until merge and baring an idol play on me I don't see any reason to I'd be voted out of this tribe. I am looking pretty good. My biggest problem is deciding who goes if we lose. I have an alliance with everyone on this tribe. Let's breifly go over the relationships:
Woo/Hope
Woo/Hope/Mel
Woo/Hope/Jaison/Nick
Woo/Alina
Jaison/Nick
Hope/Mel
So this makes for a sticky situation. I would have to assume we will have a triple boot dragon immunity coming so it's not a matter of if. It's a matter of when. The people i feel least connected with are Nick and Melinda but Nick is sewed in tight with Jaison therefore is not on the table. Mel is going to be needed for challenges and if we get an individual dragon one she'll probably win anyway so voting her off may be the best play for me but it will be hard to do and risky as well. All signs seem to realistically point to Alina being the first boot here which is not ideal for my individual game but is the best course of action to avoid pissing anyone off. Nobody else would be sad to see Alina go and I'm sure Jaison and Nick would push for it if we lose. It's really going to come down to how much I want to stick my neck out for her. She has kind of been going all in with me recently. At first I wasn't buying it but it really feels like she is pretty alone in this game is has latched on to me. She is someone who would be good for me to have personally but really serves no use to my allies so it will be a hard sell but I'll do what is within my power while not overstepping my boundaries. Vote out Alina and I lose one person. Vote out Nick and I lose the rest of Lóng
As far as my dragons go I am very happy to have Liz and Hunter. They are both trusted allies of mine and I'm sure I will get all the info I need from both tribes. Hunter is really growing on me. I love that guy and I know Hope does too. Him and Liz both claim to be safe so things are looking up but I know once merge comes things will change. Idk if I will be able to trust Liz and Kenny at that point. Joe is apparently the mastermind and is sucking everyone in. I can't imagine they will work with us Mushu folk over him and I know I won't be working with Joe. I never met the guy and he already has his fill of people who adore him. Joe is one guy who has got to go. I don't know the first thing about him but I am already predicting that it's either him or me. I don't see a situation where we both survive the first few rounds of merge. One will be in power and the other will be the Ponderosa mayor. Joe, this is being filed away for later but don't forget it. You're at the top of my list...
I am pretty worried about Ozzy all alone with 5 original Anaira but Liz told me unprompted that she thinks he's fine. Would love to see that tribe go to tribal council. Not sure what to expect. The other tribe looks like even more of a crapshoot but then again people tell me Natalie is not very active and i know from experience Lil isn't either so it might be uninteresting.
For now I'm just hanging tight with my cool new tribe. I should be able to be more active now that I'm between jobs. (No i don't mean that in the pathetic sounding way, my new job just doesn't start for a couple weeks :p ) I'm gonna try to solidify some bonds and search my soul for the answers to this inevitable tribal council. I am having a hard time seeing Alina surviving and the part that gets me is I know I could save her if I really wanted to, It's just how much do I want to?
It truly is a question that will be left unanswered until the time comes..

Oh my god YESS
We won immunity and we freakin EARNED it. I haven't gushed about Hope in a while so this is a perfect opportunity. Hope ROCKED that challenge. She stayed up for i think 28 straight hours? I can't believe she did it. Not only did she stay awake the entire time while Nick and I slept between rounds all night, but she took it upon herself to wake me up every hour when I was sleeping. She wanted that win really bad and I am so happy we got it. Jaison was a little frustrating. He got a whole 8 hours of uninterrupted beauty sleep while the rest of us burned the midnight oil and watched our lead deteriorate while he slept. He is in the best spot on this tribe and he knows it. We pulled through though and it was just what the doctor ordered as a great bonding moment for me, Hope, Nick, and Jaison. Alina sitting out couldn't have been more perfect. Hope really is a super star and I love he hell out of her. I am so lucky to have someone like her in this game. We can talk about anything and I know she is looking out for me. We have 100% pure trust but that's not even the part I care about. We still talk all night every night about everything and anything. I am crazy about Hope and I can't wait to see what this game has in store for us.
As for Alina, things are getting weird. Alina is working me really hard. She is trying to earn my trust and it's honestly working but I am kind of tied to voting her out and don't see any way I can do anything different. It's kind of a shame but maybe I'm just being stupid. Alina is a total wildcard and while I think now she is cozying up to me and wants to work with me, I can't forget what happened last round. It's just hard to go against someone when they are so clearly going so hard out of their way to earn your trust. It's putting me in a weird spot and I am not too interested in going to tribal council again on this tribe for many reasons including that one.
I have been talking to Liz more recently and doing what I can to keep that option open. When Liz talks to me I feel like she is being genuine and she wants me and Hope to team up with her/Kenny and Neal at the merge. The only worries I have are Kenny's mouth and the other couple Anaira still mingling around who I don't associate with. Would love to see a Rita boot tonight for that reason. I hardly know that girl.
As for Shęngli and their tribal council, Hunter seems to think its going to be an activity thing. That tribe is living in the stone age as far as the game goes. Every OG Mushu over there has done nothing but sit around and vote out påpãyä Trish all game. THATS IT. I could tell when I started talking a little strategy with Hunter he got a little overwhelmed and confused by it because he's just not living in that mindset yet. He's been care free all game. This will be the first active person he has to vote out. So, Hunter, here's a fruitbasket and a membership card. WELCOME TO SAUSAGE ISLAND. Time to start playing with the rest of us. These people are seriously pissing me off. Votes are due in 3 hours and nobody will talk about the vote. Its not even like there's no obvious options. Its clearly Alina vs Nick/Jaison but not even those 3 will go outside their bubble to pull in votes. It doesn't make any sense. Its almost like there's a conspiracy against me or something but gdi there's no way. I'm in too good with most of Anaira for that. I just don't understand how you can be on the hot seat and just sit around this close to deadline. I would love to do that but I'm really tied into this feud so I really can't stay out of it. If shit doesn't start blowing up soon I'm gonna be suspicious. | |

When will I learn?
Ok, is it unreasonable to say that I don't think there was any way to NOT be a huge part of that vote?
I did not want to but I was way too tied in with Alina not not actively prove to everyone I'm not with her. I went out and rallied everyone against Alina all while telling her I was fighting for her. Even when she left I still think she had no idea that I was anything but on the bottom with her. It wasn't a jury strategy, I know the next juror will fill her in, it was more of a Just-in-case-she-whips-out-an-idol strategy. So anyway I ended up in two group chats, One with the 4 OG Mushu and one with My nice little alliance of 6: Woo, Hope, Liz, Neal, Kenny, and Jer. Everyone agreed on Alina except for Neal and I feel like we left a sour taste in his mouth overruling him. Nick never even messaged him this whole game until 11pm tonight. I was talking to Neal about potentially shifting things on to Nick when Jer basically made the call for everyone and said he was locking in his Alina vote. Got a little awkward with Neal which sucks because I was just starting to like him a lot. Like me and Neal hit it off big time last night and I am really excited to work wtih him even though we haven't talked since pre-tribes. I hope he doesn't see me any differently.
So what comes next?
I am going to make an effort to not be a big part of the next vote. After that one I need to lay low AF and there shouldn't be any reason for me to worry since i got 7/13 people in this game looking out for me plus a "technical" alliance with Nick and Jaison but idk how much they trust me. Regardless I don't think there is any reason I should be targeted by legitimate numbers next round so I am going to try to sit back a little and see what comes up. Maybe I'll work on socializing with Rita, Nat, Jenna, and Rachel who I haven't heard from in ages. Going to try to stop being SuperWoo and just be boring for a little. We'll see if I am capable.

Don't mind me, just sticking to my resolution. No action for Woo. The two potential things I see happening based on what I've heard are Neal targeting Nick OR even more exciting: HUNTER targeting Kenny. YEAH! Hope dropped that bomb on me last night. Apparently the month of inaction is getting to Hunter and he wants to make a move. I can't say where I'll line up on that but I will say I'll wait til everyone else already has before I take a side. What I would like to do in that case is get the blame shifted on to Rita rather than Hunter and convince Liz shes gotta let some Anaira go and this is the perfect opportunity. Also probably puts Hunter and Natalie on the bottom and keeps me out of the spotlight. Don't want to see Hunter go but if he's going to actually go through with this I think he's making a mistake. Kenny is not very active but he's pretty well protected. This will be fun. But for now its literally dead. | |
