I'd prefer to go to uncharted territory, but if your group is expecting you back, then I would assume that's the best route, even if it is backtracking.
As far as this group C thing goes, not sure I trust the whole thing. But if Izza is alone with you guys, I would assume she's at the will of your group for now, so there isn't much she can do.

I would be interested in finding out how long it takes for that turret to strike again before someone sets it off again.

Unless she's leading them into a trap.
Was I getting paranoid? You're damn right I was. But better to be a paranoid wreck than a naive corpse. I think.

Agreed in full.
But if you're worried about her, I'm very fine going another direction. If it is true you don't care much for your group. I can help maneuver around these parts quite well. So if it's a worry, you just let me know. I can scout it out for ya.

I don't get it. Even if you distrust Izza, abandoning that group means that you're okay with them being screwed over by her.
I'm all for being independent, but I don't see the benefit of going off on our own.

Like yeah, I argued with them a lot, but that's one of the reasons I want to get back to them. If I'm not there, they might make dumb mistakes I could prevent them from doing.

That was mainly me expressing my disappointment over being abandoned. Which, by the sounds of it...isn't entirely untrue, but isn't the whole story neither. I just question the leadership in that group, to be frank. Percy seems to be looking out only for herself.
However, I won't go looking for your group if that's not what Rin wants. I'm not going to leave the girl.

No offense Rin but you act as if they cannot make logical choices on their own. Percy Sam and Cronkite have all stepped up yah?

I assume that me going off alone wouldn't serve as much of a purpose that I could greater serve within your group.
By the sounds of it though, there might be a lot of negativity in your group.

How are you all holding up with your collars? Do you guys have a good enough supply of fusion cells?

I don't see an issue with the group honestly. I didn't disagree with a single choice they made aside from the elevator which turned out to be the best choice. We should meet up with them for reasons other than worrying about their wellbeing

You all sound like you are valuable members of your group and you stayed behind to be with a friend. I value that. I don't think we should keep your group waiting.

There's not a lot of negativity within the group. Sorry if it seems that way. I just strongly disagreed with a decision they made a while ago (to not save Aldo), and then they were planning on splitting into several groups last phase which I thought could've been catastrophic.
There is safety in numbers, and if we split off just because of some differences in opinion, we'd risk groups turning into echo chambers where everyone would agree and no one would think critically, and I think that's bad.
So it's not that I don't think they can make logical decisions, I just think the more opinions the better since we can talk it out.

This is how I felt about my group. A handful of them wished to move north to try and meet back up with me but we weren't sure if the rooms would make their way together [which they obviously do]. The other part of the group wanted to press onward simply because they didn't want to backtrack [1 room] when they could explore more.
Anyway, I told them not to split. If I stepped up, I made the choice and I didn't want the group to suffer for it because that would be counterproductive. I'm happy where I'm at.

Rin, what was the rationale they gave for their change of heart about Aldo? I'm frankly gobsmacked that they'd want to use one of Watts' revivals on him when they originally were adamant about not even "wasting" a medkit.
Did you just wear 'em down?
