Hello people, the fresh oxygen coming from my collar is refreshing to say the least.

In regards to the code, it reads to me as though we set the code to arm the defensive turrets. But it could definitely be a code hidden somewhere on the ship. Should someone try a code to arm the system? The odds are 1:100 that we'd hit the right code. And if we did, I would think we could just re-enter the code so that the system is deactivated.

Other than that it looks like the west exit is really our only option if we don't wanna board the inactive shuttle again.

Everyone make sure to use a fusion cell. I used mine.

I would guess there is some kind of clue on this floor for the 2 - digit passcode. I think we should explore and obtain the information. Turrets are threatening, but knowledge is power. We should definitely know how to activate them in case we need it later.

I would guess that inactive shuttle gets us closer to the bomb. Maybe there's a power source on this floor somewhere?

So... exit West? Seems to be our only real option.


Portia, I'm curious why you think the red shuttle could help us find the bomb and not the green shuttle we saw a couple days ago?

I'm curious if there is a way to get through the locked door with the keycard or something?

Or what if entering a 2 digit code also opens the door? Has anyone put any thought into the 2 digit input?

Mission Control Room Description
Room with a large elevator blinking on the North-East side. A computer terminal against the wall displays a message saying "system active". Beneath it is a keypad with numbers on it. A sign above the computer displays "enter target number for defensive turret system". On the South-East side there's a red shuttle which is currently inactive.


Mission Control Actions
A player may enter a two digit number into the keypad.


Neither of these say anything about a code just to enter a number, which I think we have assumed is a code.

We also need to decide what to do about the direction we head. Elliot is heading west and may not be able to check back in do we all head that way or try and open the locked door?

im thinking the target number is to chose a specific turret to use. what worries me is why a mining ship needs this kind of defensive measures.

there might be value in testing it. we might need to use them later to repel an invading ship or destroy some kind of space junk, and learning what happens with a specific number could help fine tune our aim.

i think we should explore this level. remember last phase there was a note saying something about power on level D. our only clue to restoring power is that its on this level, if we believe the note. we only have 9(?) phases of air after this one, getting the power back on and either charging the fusion cells of getting the ships air system back on is our most pressing issue.

Also, we need to keep track of where the shuttles are, I'm assuming that once we restore power they will become active and we'll need to board them to escape. We may not all fit in one or two, depending on the size.

Paige, is there anything that you can tell us about the key card? Do you know if it can open the locked door or not? This could be a big question if we are all to stay together.

Right now we have about 7 hour and change left to the deadline.

The keycard can lock, or unlock any door, so I don't see why it wouldn't unlock this door. The only thing now is, do we open this locked door? What if Elliot doesn't come back on in time since he said he is putting in his action, that would split us up, and we would be out of a keycard since it breaks after being used.
