I still say east is the way to go.
Although I must say that cardinal directions are pretty fucking arbitrary when we're not bound by magnetic fields. Like what makes that direction any more north than the other direction? | |

When no magnetic field is present, I naturally assume that West is left and East is right. God knows how that works with North and South, because it can't possibly be up or down. | |
