unfortunate that they're still leaning into the prophecy angle (: Obviously there's a plot-driven reason for it but I'm DONE hearing about it!

It's funny because it's only a show thing so I don't think it will be shown much. If the prophecy being passed down is to be true, it makes sense that Aerys II understood it, hence the "burn them all" but it probably died with Rhaegar, or maybe Aerys and that's why Robert probably never knew about the prophecy.

if it was just the one-off from the first ep I'd agree, but since they brought it up again they're def gonna make it a bigger thing. Probably as a self-justification for whatever Viserys/Rhanerya do down the line

Another good episode. Way better than the second half of Game of Thrones.

I love Daemon. "Who gives a fuck what some lord thinks? You are the dragon. Your word is truth and law."

The suggestion of marrying her brother is fine but gosh forbid she does anything with her uncle. At one moment the King is like, so what if she was in a pleasure house, yolo. But then the Queen and Hand are all oh no, her virtue! King seems upset it was with her Uncle, not that, but was entertaining her being married to her brother a few episodes ago. Then he is mad about her virtue later.

Hard not to laugh at Otto being undone after going against Rhaenyra.
