Nah, I don't mean this game in particular. I mean most games in general, regardless of outcome. Mafia somewhat rarely are actually actively orchestrating day phase lynches to the point where they are the ones responsible. Most rapid bandwagons are comprised of town because scum hold off and consider the options and how they will look. Whenever there is minimal evidence in either direction early in the game, the first somewhat promising train gets numbers. Sometimes, a train only gets numbers because it has numbers already and is the alternative to a no-longer-promising train.
Lynches with actual evidence can go either way. Random/stupid/lazy/pointless/inactive lynches are usually because town doesn't have direction. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

The mafia alone could've overridden the stupid Boc lynch and gone for Colby instead. I wish that happened. I was gonna push for Colby but the 1pm deadline snuck up on me | |
