Alright, so in my video I was debating which way I wanted to go for the foreseeable future in the game. I can go with the Original Ki's (Spencer, Marisa, Fairplay, and maybe Dana) or go with the mixed group (Caleb, Eliza, Sydney, Kat, and Julia). After much deliberation...I think that I am falling on the Ki side. Here's why...
While I haven't been with them for the entire game...I have been talking to them and have stayed very much in constant contact. They, particularly Spencer and Marisa, have kept me in the loop as to what's happening on their tribe, and how they are trying to set the game up going forward. I have also consulted with them the entire way...letting them know exactly what I'm doing, how I'm doing, and what is happening in the tribe.
When I decided to mutiny, the first person I talked to was Spencer, where we went over the pros and cons of where to mutiny to. I also spoke extensively to Jonny so that they felt like they were in the loop with my decision. I chose to go to the Nu-Ozato tribe because I felt that it would allow me to get in with them and allow them to begin really trusting me. It was all done with the idea that I would use that misplaced trust to take advantage of them and make a big move, if possible.
However, over the past few days I've begun questioning what I want to do with the trust that I've earned. Caleb has made a final 2 deal with me and told me about his idol (later than everyone else...but whatever), Sydney and Kat have recommitted to playing the game with me, and Eliza has taken the steps to side with me as well. Last night Sydney basically grilled me on my loyalties, and made her intentions known to me. She wants me in to form an alliance that will take out the Ki tribe. It is my belief that she wants Spencer to go first.
If I were to side with the mixed group, then it would make sense to take out Spencer first. He is seen as the head of the Ki's, after all. But, then I'm stuck with a group that doesn't really know me, and there's an idol that I have to worry about. Caleb, who is awesome I admit, seems to really trust me, or at least says he does. He has an idol. Doesn't it make sense to try to blindside him and get that idol out of here now?
Plus, I think that if I make it to the end of the game, then that will be a very angry jury to contend with. The Ki's will not vote for me to win if I flip...even if I made good, smart Survivor moves the whole way. The mixed group might...depending on who I'm sitting next to.
So am I prepared to throw away my entire relationship with the Ki's in this game?
or, am I prepared to do what I wanted to do from the start....which is lure the mixed group into my confidence. Make them love me and trust me, and then betray them in Epic Survivor fashion. Could they blame me for doing it after I explain that I have been close with the Ki gang the entire time?
New Merge Avatar! I added Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones because I just finished rewatching Season 4 in preparation for the new season, which starts this weekend. I need to bust my hump through season 5 this week. I also threw in a teeny-tiny Oberyn "The Viper" Martell when he is getting his head crushed by The Mountain, much like I'm doing to the fools in this game!
