Last round's vote went off without a hitch, though there were some fireworks at the end by Reynold. That guy must be delusional if he thought there was a good chance I was going to side with him. I've said this before, but the dude was greasier than a used-car salesman selling turtle wax. His comments at the end of tribal weren't so nice either! I couldn't quite explain why I got much more heat than Kat did over the decision- perhaps my genuine behavior at the beginning of the round (when I actually wanted to vote Caleb) was a bit convincing!

I would say that his comments about Eliza being the biggest threat left in the game are slightly on point. I would put her at third-most likely to win. The numero uno threat, no doubt, is Jefra. She comes from Sakai which remarkably is still fully in tact, though Brad's anti-Sakai sentiment certainly clouds that fact. She's undoubtedly built relationships with original Ki like James, Marisa, and JFP (who's pretty snakey imo), and she kick major ass in challenges. You may be asking yourself, "How does Sydney expect to go far at all when she keeps letting Sakai slide by unharmed?". Well I have my idol to protect me should any immediate danger arise, but I also expect them to be targets at merge. Do I think it's possible to gather a group of the Uzato blondes + Brad + Gervase + any Ki people to turn against the Sakai 5? Yes, but I certainly won't push for it. There are double votes scattered around that I'm sure will be used early on, and I have to hope that opportunities will present themselves. I would love to see that NuKi 5 group of me, Kat, Eliza, James, and Jefra come together again. The bottom line is that I need to act calm, cool, and collective the next few rounds to ensure the merge wave doesn't crash into my game.

For this round, I would love to win, because if we lose I am definitely playing my idol. The preliminary plan I have, presuming Caleb and Eliza stay tight, is to get their votes onto me, I play my idol, and then Kat and I decide who goes home. Ideally we remove Eliza as Caleb isn't a threat, but I'd want Kat's input too. Interesting details to see from me if Ozato loses, but I hope using TWO advantages (even tho it essentially now becomes 1 advantage after every tribe used one) will not be a waste and help us avoid a four-person tribal for a spot on the jury!
