So, this round was an absolute rollercoaster. Two days ago, I go to bed thinking that a challenge probably wasn't happening since it was way too late for the hosts to announce it. Then I woke up to our tribe having lost the Family Feud challenge and tribal going on. Fortunately, I didn't panic, but I could have.

I didn't fully trust Sydney and Kat, and I trusted the 3 Asos + Brad even less, so when I saw we were at tribal, I knew there was a real possibility of me going home, even higher when Matty gave immunity to Eliza. Then very weird things started to happen.

Butch approached me with the idea that Brad should be the one going home, which I totally didn't expect. He said that "he had heard he was a flipper", or something like that. So either he wanted to throw him under the bus and save his three men, or he was setting us up for an idol played on Brad.

Whatever was the case, and after the Sydney/Kat/Eliza/James/Me alliance debated whether we should tell Brad that the Asos were gunning for him, Butch and Reynold had a change of mind: it was going to be James, not Brad. This was really great news, cause we could tell Brad and the Asos we were voting for James and not risk any idol trick on us. James was OK with being used as bait and the five of us + Matty were ready to strike on Butch, the unanimously decided biggest threat on Aso.

After making sure Brad and Butch were absolutely convinced that we were okay with their plan, the only thing left was casting the votes for Butch and hoping nobody was lying, particularly Kat and Sydney. And of course, they weren't! Butch went home and we pulled off an epic #blindside.

So my experience on New Ki gave me a new alliance, that we call "James' Dames" (unrelated to "Caleb's Angels") or "Kajafra Sydza", that sounds like some kind of Harry Potter spell.

Then the swap. The horrible, horrible swap. If it hadn't been so clearly random I would say it's a conspiracy to screw over the old Sakais.

- Matty and James are alone with insane Brad, unlikable Gervase, and nondescript Dana, their only way out being working with the latter and take out the other two guys. Hopefully, she'll be okay with that.
- Eliza, Kat and Sydney are going to have to work with Caleb in some way or another or just blindside him, which wouldn't be ideal. Reynold is D.O.A. as far as they're concerned but who knows if he has some tricks up his sleeve.
- Julia and me, of course, are kidnapped in Ki hell. We love these three guys but if we lose, we're absolutely fucked unless shoguns come and help us.

So our only option is to win out, survive, and try to rebuild whatever we have left when the merge comes, hopefully in two or three tribals. Fingers crossed.
