Everything went according to plan, and Butch went home. I do feel bad - he's a great guy and he was really fun to talk to.

But that's Survivor. People have to get voted out.

Goodbye Butch - May you find an undying supply of firewood wherever you go. Maybe one day we can gather it together.

Brad was left out of the loop at the last vote, and I don't think he's too happy about that. I explained what happened and he seemed to understand. Hopefully he considers sticking with the Mountains.
He also didn't deny telling the Aso guys about the double votes, so that may tell us that our worries about him were justified.

Luckily, Brad isn't my problem for a while now. We switched tribes.

I'm in a really good spot. In fact, if the last two people to pick buffs, Spencer and Dana, were switched around, the swap would have worked perfectly for us.

The new Ozato tribe is made up of people I trust. And Reynold. So, if we lose, and assuming he doesn't have an idol, we have an easy vote ahead of us.
I have a chance to really pull in Sydney and Kat, which could give me a huge numbers advantage going into the merge. If I can secure the original Sakai Six (Or five, depending on Brad), as well as Sydney and Kat, I'd have a clear run to the end.

Unfortunately, the girls alliance may be in trouble. Julia and Jefra are stuck with three original Ki members. Hopefully they can swing Spencer or Jon to vote with them. I don't want to lose them.

Ki, the last tribe, is one big question mark. I think Brad will be a swing vote, but I'm going to have to wait until they go to tribal to be sure.

I'm still waiting to see what the challenge will be. With any luck, it's only one tribe going to tribal. I have a feeling that may not be the case.

There's not much to tell except for this very boring and predictable recap because really nothing has happened except for the swap. There hasn't been any drama, or fun stories, or even stress.

I'm sure that'll change soon enough.

The Sakai Six is officially no more.

Brad publicly declared his complete and utter hatred for me. Sort of. Actually not at all publicly.
He told Caleb that he was against the girls, and specifically wants me out. He wants everyone to gang up against poor, helpless Eliza.

To be fair, I deserve it. But that doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Apparently he did believe some of the lies I told him, because he thought I was actually against Caleb. So of course, he went straight to Caleb and told him everything I'd said. Which Caleb immediately relayed back to me.

Brad's great blindside plan lasted all of 4 seconds.

Hopefully Ki can manage to secure a majority and end his game so I don't have to.

It's an understatement to say we did terribly at the challenge. We weren't even close. So now we have to go to tribal.

It looks like it'll be Reynold going home unless he has an idol. I'm hoping he doesn't - if he does then it'll probably be Sydney. I like Sydney and I want her to stick around, so I'm doing everything I can to convince Reynold we're with him so he doesn't play his hypothetical idol.

I don't know if he's believing any of what I'm telling him. He's a smart guy. I told him Caleb and I aren't that close, which, quite frankly, is blatantly not true. It was worth a try though.
For some reason it seems like he believes I'm going to vote Sydney. Kat said that he's buying into that. That's very good for us.

We all know Reynold is just scrambling and trying to save himself, and I have to admit - he's good at it. Unfortunately for him, our decision isn't going to change.

His time is up.
