And you have Matty "doesnt post his AIM" Whtimore, potential easy 1st boot.

More worried about Kat, it would be beautiful if all my other closest allies, Kat, Eliza, Sydney and Nold-Dog all teamed up on Ozato and took out the purported nervous train wreck that is Caleb. One can only hope. and i don't rly care about the other tribe at the moment.

Sorry, I've been away, busy weekend. Anyways, not much to report between the swap and this challenge. My homeboy Reynold got sent home as the Coast holocaust re-continued. At least things are going well over here, as I am surrounded by ppl who <3 me and care about my well-being. Matty looks like the obvious choice to go next, especially since Brad has proven himself to be on our side pretty consistently, even if I myself am not that close with him. Like...Matty is almost guaranteed next boot. Which is GOOD because my tribe fkn tanked at this fkn challenge. Two DNF's? Do you people even want to be here? Ah well, at least we should be safe. (famous last words amirite)

Of course Sakai keeps winning. The only tribe with all Mountain folks is the one that gets al the immunities, and it's not even fringe Mountain folks like Brad or Matty. UGH f those guys, so cocky, so arrogant, so unyielding, and so in control whether I like it or not.

Also, James made the interesting decision to send Sydney to Ukiyo? Not really sure why? I guess since we all voted for him, he felt like she owed him less loyalty than to the rest of us, idk. Anyways, Sydney could have some immunity idol or some shit, but hey, that would be GREAT because honestly, Sydney herself is GREAT and we get along GREAT and so her having an immunity idol would presumably be much more likely to help me. So we'll see.

So...the girl....whom we will here call "Emily" because that is her name. So I was feeling good about things, but then our mutual friend, Megan, was like "hey just so you know, Emily is trying hard to branch out from her group of architecture friends because they're starting to annoy the dickens out of her, so she's being more intentional about her friendships with her non-architecture friends" (EXHIBIT A: ya boi). So def a real chance she could just be trying to become better friends, which I am certainly pleased to become, but I have my eyes on the bigger prize. BUT HEY at least she seems to like being around me for some reason amirite? so maybe such reasons can translate into reasons why she wanna date.

Regardless, I texted her last night (Sunday night) at 9:30 asking her if she wanted to have lunch (we were supposed to get lunch last week but I had to postpone; just a friend thing) this week and she didn't respond til 5:30 PM today (monday)!!! Which had me freakin out a bit (I was pooping all day, which I do whenever I'm anxious which mainly just happens when I'm doing pursuing-girl-related things) because HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET MARRIED IF I'M NOT YOUR #1 PRIORITY but then she responded and was like "Sure, Jacob! Let's reschedule!" (Note the TWO exclamation points) And she couldn't do lunch...and dinner options were limited...so the best option was dinner Friday...and that's a weekend night...and weekend nights are more of a time for going off-campus for dinner, which I sort of tried to make her suggest, especially since my car is #REKT and hers is not, and since going off-campus could potentially be construed as a ~~DATE~~ and I don't wanna push her into something that smells like a date, but after I suggested maybe possibly going off-campus if she didn't wanna eat on campus, she fell asleep or some shit like that IDK. AND THAT'S WHERE WE'RE AT NOW. But regardless, she's pretty amazing and if we end up being better friends than we were 2 months ago, that's not the worst outcome in the world by any means, but hey, I will keep you posted, I think it's like a 45-55 chance atm but I have asked 2 girls out in my life, and neither have been an outright no, so I am optimistic (did i ever date either of said girls? no bc one gave me an outright no the next semester when we were finally back on campus together with time to go on dates, and the other said she would say yes but she was already going on dates with this super awesome guy, and it's all good because now I am GR8 friends with both. But I digress)

WOWZERS I have not confessed in a while, and for that I am sorry. But basically...having immunity the Matty round was nice, and then we flubbed this past challenge, but was I particularly worried? NAH because Dana and Gerv have my back as much as just about anyone in this game (except for my bae, Sydney, of course) and the Brad decision was pretty straightforward, and here we are at the merge! Yay merge!

But I honestly don't know what direction things are gonna go in here, and I just lost a couple people who were at least fringe allies for me in Jefra and Brad. I would like to think the anti-Aso sentiment...well, that there ISN'T an anti-Aso sentiment. I think people are definitely irritated with Caleb, and he kind of has "merge boot" written al over him, not to mention Eliza and Julia are in tight with each other and also notoriously sneaky sneaky sneaky, so IDEALLY and LOGICALLY, we (basically all the former Coast people)work with the Spencer-JFP-James-Marisa alliance to take down the OG Sakai's, and from there we'll play it by ear. I'm sure there are a lot of hidden 2-man alliances that people aren't expecting, but for the MOST part, it currently appears to be a three-faction game, with the OG Sakai's on one side, the OG Ki's on the other, and the OG Coasters on the other, and we all have our guns pointed at each other and some one is gonna have to work across the aisle, and the odd man out gets screwed, or more specifically, the nucleus of the odd man out gets screwed, and that could be me, if people see the Coast 5 as being as tight as we actually are.

I didn't win immunity. But that comes as no surprise. Besides, I feel like I've barely talked to these people for the past like, week-and-a-half.

RILL LIFE STUFF:

70% of my friends were like "Jacob u oblivious hoe, you and Emily r totally going on a date" and I'm like "gee i don't know guys, i don't know how she feels about me, i think things just kind of escalated into us having dinner, off-campus, on a friday night, and it could very possibly not be a date and I'll get the last laugh if it isn't" and they're like "no stfu i am social situation expert and it is totally a date" and I'm like "gee i dunno guys, you don't quite know the full situation" and, well, we went to dinner, and we had a nice time and

She honestly felt really bad. And I was like "shh girl, don't cry". and we'll probably hang out again sometime soon bc that's what friends do.

So now ya boi Butch aka "Mr. Probably in the top 25th percentile of all ORG-playing men in datability due to his non-basement-dwelling, neckbeard-having status, not-fat-ness, and heterosexuality alone" is back on the market and while I have some minor prospects that I could discuss, such as Eye Contact Girl or FB Messenger Girl, I'll let you PM me if you really want deets.

yeah, so, all that stuff I said about 3 factions siding with each other for the merge round? Yeah, throw all that out the window. Gerv went home. Unanimously. It was very difficult. But it would appear I didn't ultimately have a lot of power this round, and me and my closest allies in Kat and Dana basically had to go along for the ride. I think Kat definitely has plans that don't involve me, as she is in tight with the people in power and I am not so much, aside from maybe Eliza and James and JFP. And even those 3 relationships are tenuous. Right now, I appear to be very much along for the ride, as does Dana, and until the Caleb-Julia-Eliza-JFP-Spencer-James power base is ready to cannibalize itself, it looks like I could very well be relying solely on Kat and Sydney to keep my name out of the mouths of the majority.

WOW so much has happened......sorry I haven't kept y'all in the loop, but


Essentially, homeboy Fairplay got voted out which was sad, but then we got Caleb, but then my BAE Sydney went home, along with the lovely Eliza, in the double vote because my other allies wanted her gone and there wasn't much I could do to change that since Kat wanted to flip and take her out and I was following along with Kat. That vote sucked. And TONIGHT, things went surprisingly smoothly.

Kat got nervous and played her idol, but we got Marisa in a 4-2 vote as the everyone ganged up on the pair of Ki's, so now Spencer is the last Ki standing. And SUDDENLY, The Coast is controlling the game, with me, Kat, and Dana all still in the game. But as far as the jury goes, here is where we're at:

Dana is probably the biggest threat. I love Dana but I can't go to the end with her.
Spencer is probably right behind.

Which means

I need to go with Kat and Julia to really have much of a chance, and in that scenario, I will have to be hoping people hate me less than they hate Kat and Julia. Yikes. Strong final 5 all around. The plan now that Kat has controlled immunity, is to vote Dana now and vote Spencer next as Dana is more likely to win final immunity. All I know is that Kat and I wanna keep on being BFFs all the way to the very end where we think we might actually have a shot against each other.

So yeah. That's the update on my end. If anyone is a goat in this game, I think it might actually be me? Perhaps I've been too under the radar for the first time in my life? I dunno, but though my chances may be the slimmest in front of a jury, I still certainly certainly have a chance.
