WELCOME TO TRIBAL COUNCIL, Ki!

And welcome Matty, the winning Shogun from Sakai!

There are two stages to Tribal in this game. First, please answer the question directed at you in this thread. To vote, see your Voting Thread in your confessional. If you're confused, please message us for clarification!

Butch: With Matty attending this tribal, there's a 5-5 split in terms of factions. Should we expect a tie?

Brad: How important are old faction/tribal lines at this point in the game?

Eliza: As the winning shogun last round, you went to Ukiyo and attended Sakai's tribal council. Do you think that puts a target on your back tonight?

Gervase: The last two players voted out were from Aso. Are we likely to see that trend continue tonight?

James: Has there been any talk about another potential swap?

Jefra: Original Sakai
is the only tribe to still have all of its members in the game. Do you think this gives you a target?

Kat: The Ozato
tribe is down to three members. Do you think this benefits your game or hurts it?

Reynold: What effect does the fact that this is the first time this tribe is attending tribal have on the outcome?

Sydney: What will you base your vote on tonight?

Matty: Welcome! You have attended every post-swap tribal in one way or another. Would you say that this is an advantage or a disadvantage?

Matty has 12 hours to grant immunity to someone in this thread. Failure to do so will result in him losing his immunity necklace (he can be voted for)

You have until 10PM tomorrow to cast your vote (~24 hours). Remember, not voting by the deadline will result in a self-vote, and nobody likes a self-voter (except the pre-jury camp) ;)

Good luck!

Not really, Tyler, I would honestly be very surprised if we had a tie tonight. We saw factions hold fast over on Sakai the past few rounds, but over here, I think it's a pretty wide-open game. I'd say there's only a few people over here on either faction who wouldn't consider themselves "free agents" at this point and frankly, I don't currently know who's going to team up with who over here.

It's never good to lose your numbers and it really hurts when you lose a good friend (RIP Sugar) but that just gives you an opportunity make new friends and find trust elsewhere!

I'm not sure tbh. I think people will probably not know what to do since it's the first time we're having tribal as a tribe, but I could be totally wrong about that.

I don't think so. Or at least I hope not. There's open tribal communication so everybody can figure out what goes on at Sakai's tribal council if they want to. There's no big secret or new information that I would get. I don't see how being shogun could put a target on my back.

I can understand why some people would think so, but like Butch said, it is a pretty open game. The old Sakai has been working together in the other tribe, but things could very well be absolutely different here. Mountains had majority over Coast in new Sakai, so nobody felt it was reasonable to defect from that, but the 5-5 split here opens a new world of possibilities, and I think everybody knows that. People know we're open and we hope they consider us friends instead of targets.

I think it's an advantage for these guys cause they get to hang out with me!

Also I'm gonna give Eliza immunity.

I'm just hoping not to be surprised by the outcome!

They are pretty important, with cross tribal communication. They can and could be very much alive still. It's still a really early game

I've heard a little bit of talk about another possible swap...but honestly, this game is so crazy...no one is sure what will happen. I think that the key is to take everything a day at a time and be ready for anything.

I think it's unlikely that another Aso member gets voted out tonight. Even though the original Mountain tribes have stayed together to vote us out on Sakai, things are a lot less clear-cut on this side. Even though anything can happen at tribal, I wouldn't expect the vote tonight to necessarily mirror what's been going on at the other tribe.
