Hello, everyone! So the results of your respective polls said that more of you would be around tonight, so going to post this a little early so you have a general idea of what's going on.
Tonight you will be playing a twisted CLASSIC. We have searched far and wide across the internet to survey people and create a game JUST for you.
This game IS.
THE TWISTED FEUD
So for anyone who DOESN'T know the rules of Family Feud, each round begins with a toss-up between two opposing players, where we will ask one of the survey questions (Example: "Name the best hidden immunity idol play in Survivor"). A certain number of answers will be on the board (probably 5 or 6, depending on responses), starting with the most popular. After the survey question is revealed, you are to post in the thread what you/your tribe believes to be the most popular answer. If you are first to post, and your answer is the most popular, your tribe immediately wins the toss-up. Otherwise, the opponent will respond as well and the more-popular answer wins. Ties are broken in favor of the player who posts first. If neither player's answer is on the board, the other players have a chance to respond, one at a time from alternating sides, until an answer is found. The tribe that wins the toss-up may choose to play the question or pass control to their opponents.
The tribe with control of the question now tries to win points by guessing all of the remaining concealed answers, with each member giving one answer (or in this case, whoever is around from your tribe during the live portion). Once you give an answer that is not on the board, your opponents are given the chance to take control of the round by guessing any still-concealed answer. If they guess correctly, they will continue guessing until they get one wrong. Then, the power would shift back to the other tribe. Once BOTH tribes get 5 answers wrong each, the round is over. All points earned by a tribe will contribute to the tribe's overall challenge total. That means in one round, both tribes could get a decent amount of points. It's not all or nothing like in the real TV show.
Answers are worth one point for every person in the survey who responded with that answer. The tribe with the highest number of points at the end of the six rounds will win immunity!
Not everyone has be online for the live challenge. We will ask you to check in once Survivor ends at around 9 EST. We will try to get started as soon as possible after that. Good luck! Be sure to post any questions in this thread before we start. | |

One more clarification. If both teams cannot complete the board after each have gotten 5 strikes, we will move onto the next round. | |

WELCOME TO THE FEUD
Welcome everyone, today you will be taking part in a bit of a TWISTED (I am so sorry) version of the popular TV show Family Feud. Please refer to the original post if you are interested in the rules. Each tribe please designate 1 person to come forward to take part in the first part of the round. The person who answers the question the fastest with the most popular answer and the fastest time will get to decide whether to pass or play.
