Here we are! Another victory, another day where Caleb just goes completely nuts for no reason.

The dynamics in NuKi are pretty much completely stuck, since our greatness and I guess Sakai's challenge-throwing have made us avoid tribal for very, very long. Brad hasn't even set foot on one yet, it's ridiculous. But it is helping us trim the remains of the Coast, or at least the Sakai Coast. We still hope we can work with Kat and Sydney, and I would have no problem going to the Final 5 with them and Julia + Eliza, considering that Caleb is probably idoling himself out of the alliance.

So yeah, Caleb. The numbers are 7 mountains to 2 coast right now on his tribe. An absolute miracle (2 idols played by Dana and Debbie, or any of them casting three extra votes somehow) would have to occur in order to make the plan go wrong. Yet Eliza's apparently non-final decision of giving the immunity necklace to Marisa has sent Caleb into a downward spiral.

Apparently Eliza mentioned (and I have no fucking idea why she did that knowing Caleb) that Caleb could get votes, but that if she thought he would be at any risk, he would be receiving the necklace. And since she didn't, well, he's not getting it. So, of course, Caleb is dead set on playing his idol.

And Spencer says, funnily enough, that Caleb considers himself a threat in this game, when the reality is that he seems genetically engineered to be a goat. Overly emotional: check. Makes terrible decisions behind his allies' back: check. Lets himself be dragged along by superior players: check. He's even in the mountains, that's how much of a goat he is. *Sigh*

It's sad because I'm sure he's a wonderful person in real life, but right now, in this game, he's a liability. He makes us go out of our way to please him, and he's irritating our allies and ourselves. The idol is kind of the only thing that forces us to stick to him, and if he plays it and wastes it, I'm pretty much done. It's just not a good idea to be associated with him right now, and it might have been a mistake to choose him instead of Brad, who might be considering flipping as we speak. But this was really hard to predict.

I really need to talk to both of them, Brad and Caleb, and try to figure out what they're going to do.
