Welcome to your confessional! This is your private haven, meaning that everything that you post here can only be seen by the Hosts and the Prediction Writers. Your secrets are safe with us. On this board, you will cast your votes, do some challenges and pour your heart out. The more you confess, the happier we are! Though we can't make you confess, the more you do, the more likely you'll be to return in future seasons. Try and keep us updated! Refer to past season's winners and finalists for an understanding of what this is usually like.

Though we read your application, a lot of our viewers (or "Prediction Writers") didn't. Here are a few questions for you to answer! Answer them well, and you might get picked for our fantasy teams!

1. What's your strategy going to be like? If you've played ORGs in the past, what was a strategy that's worked well and gotten you far? What is the most fun you've ever had in an ORG? What do you think might be your downfall?

2. What real Survivor would you align with? Who would you never align with (and don't say Russell)?

3. Which popular Survivors do you not like? Which do you think is the best of all time? What's your favourite season? What is your favorite moment in Survivor history?

4. Why will you be the Sole Survivor of Twisted: Ukiyo? Are you a hero or a villain?

5. What element of Survivor do you value most? Stategic? Physical? Social? Something else?

6. What are your very first impressions of your fellow cast members and their alias choices?

7. Try your best to make us laugh!

Any questions? Let us know.

Good luck!

1. What's your strategy going to be like? If you've played ORGs in the past, what was a strategy that's worked well and gotten you far? What is the most fun you've ever had in an ORG? What do you think might be your downfall?

Well...I have played 3 ORGs. And in those ORGs, we have seen 3 different types of Jacob/Erik/Brett/Butch, which is illustrated right down to my various Edgic's:

ORG 1: Decades Jacob - MORP - Here, playing my first ORG, I was all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, unaware of the intricacies of ORGs or the etiquette for forming an alliance ("Hey, Sean (Matt Soderberg), how bout you, me, and Dave (Grant) make an alliance??" - straight out of the Rudy Boesch playbook) or really much of anything about what competing in an ORG was like. I wasn't trying to make huge moves but I certainly wasn't a wallflower either, and thanks to my positive attitude and eager social game, as well as my unintentional placement in the underdog role, I was voted as the co-Hero of the season, though I ultimately never had the strategic chops to be one of the frontrunners for the victory, and there was little I could do to prevent my own demise at 7th place.

ORG 2: Warriors Jacob - OTTN - ORGs are easy! Game chats are fun! I am great at getting people to like me! People are more likely to trust you if you tell them everything! These were all misconceptions I had, either consciously or subconsciously as I stumbled and bumbled my way through my second ORG, alienating everybody in the game but my favorite person in the ORGverse (including hosts and PWs!) and eventually floating to a humiliating 13th place finish as my own allies wanted to be rid of me. This whole game, I felt like my head was in a fog as I did things with little rhyme or reason. Not only did no one respect me, but I also gave people the impression that I had power that I didn't have, giving everyone yet another reason to vote me out. This is not the Jacob I like to be.

ORG 3: Rustic Jacob - CP - Complex but toneless, the latest edition of me played a very solid premerge game, connecting with several folks on my initial tribe and working my way, with my closest ally ever, into the heart of our tribe, which made the premerge easy as there was never a tribe swap. This was my best game by far, even though I still managed to alienate a few of my allies and rub some of my enemies the wrong way, and things were going great until an absolute wild card of a 4-3-3* vote cut my life in the game short at 10th place. And yet, I was eventually named an All-star and the supreme confessionalist of the season, so if anything, I was entertaining. Still far from perfect, but I was doing a lot of things right in this game.

So, do I want to replicate any of these performances? NAH. Because none were winning-caliber. None were without their fair share of saying the wrong things to the wrong people. I will always have a natural inclination towards becoming the dumb, lovable hero (Warriors aside), I think, so the goal is to covertly turn up the lovability and turn down the dumb. And maybe things will work out. I need to be better about forming and maintaining alliances and altogether just being better about reaching across the aisle and getting to know people I would prefer were out of the game. Which I know I can do well if I put in the effort. But CP Jacob, Brett Clouser Jacob, was the most fun I have had in a game, and I hope this season can be more of the same, a lot more, several places better than 10th or even 7th more. And I am sure I will be a fun and PW-friendly contestant, unintentionally as much as intentionally, I'm afraid, all along the way. And my downfall will likely me making some kind of overplay or neglecting a key friendship that makes me disposable to an ally.

2. What real Survivor would you align with? Who would you never align with (and don't say Russell)?

ALIGN - I would like to align with a strong, loyal guy who isn't much of a strategist, and who I could have more than just a one-sided "I-am-using-you-to-win-challenges-vote-with-me-and-be-my-goat" type of relationship, someone who I would legitimately enjoy working with, someone like a James Clement, or (NOT PANDERING HERE) a Woo or even a Cliff Robinson. I also would obviously be inclined to align with someone who is much like myself, someone who is a renowned MORP cool, young guy character like an Erik R. or an Erik H. or a Brett, each of whom I have played as before. Or maybe like a cool older lady like a Tina or a Tocantins Debbie. I might even align with someone who just seems smarter and cooler and more smooth than I could ever hope to be, like an Earl Cole or a Tom Westman or even an Alex Bell or a Matty Whitmore. I would probably also intend to align with Hali Ford but get too nervous to engage her in meaningful conversation that it would never come to fruition. And if Ublaz was out there on that island, I would likely end up aligned with him, simply because I always do.

I WOULDN'T align with someone who makes me uncomfortable and seems erratic, like a Coach or a Debbie or a Dan Foley. I need to be able to build a real relationship with someone to really feel like I can trust them.

3. Which popular Survivors do you not like? Which do you think is the best of all time? What's your favourite season? What is your favorite moment in Survivor history?

Don't like -

Natalie Anderson - For some reason, I never got behind the Twinnies and actively rooted against them. And her reasons for hating John Rocker without even meeting or having personally heard of the guy, rubbed me the wrong way, even if John Rocker is a dick.

Jeff Varner - Was massively overrated before Second Chances, and while he ended up being a great addition to the show, he just never grabbed my interest and rubbed me the wrong way.

Cirie Fields - killed Erik. Was on 2 of the first 5 seasons I watched and so I got tired of her. No legitimate reason, really.

Basically anyone who people excessively say "YASSSS SLAYYYYY" in regards to, and maybe that makes me out to be a sexist or a homophobe, but I guess it is what it is. I like who I like.

Favorite Characters of all time:

1) Butch (this means a lot to me)
2) Yau-Man
3) Matthew Von Ertfelda
4) Erik R.
5) Penner

Favorite Seasons

1) HvV
2) Amazon
3) Tocantins
4) China
5) Blood vs. Water

Favorite Moment

sheeeeit I am drawing a blank at the moment. The Sean-Paschal and Brandon-Frank rewards are up there. The HvV Hero domination of the Villains at the hit-each-other-with-beanbags challenge is up there. IDK IDK. Get back to me later

4. Why will you be the Sole Survivor of Twisted: Ukiyo? Are you a hero or a villain?

You imply that I think I have a decent chance of winning. Well, if I DO have a chance, I think it's because of the type of personality I have: 80% likable, which is enough to get people to work with me, and 20% an incompetent twat, which is enough to alienate just enough people to not look like a huge jury threat if I make it to the end. The key is not shooting myself in the foot on the way there. And I am absolutely 100% always-and-forever-more a hero. Maybe a complex hero with some unlikable edges (like a James Clement? Or a Penner, perhaps?), but a generally positive, generally likable hero, nonetheless.

5. What element of Survivor do you value most? Stategic? Physical? Social? Something else?

SOCIALLLL. How many winners have won without a decent social game? I feel like every survivor winner has at least had one or was at least able to fake it (Heidik). You can't get people to work with you long enough for strategy to be useful if you don't have a social game. And Physical will only help you until you lose a challenge, and then it's either no use, or a detriment that puts a target on your back. Absolutely social. Maybe just because that's the only one I'm above-average at.

6. What are your very first impressions of your fellow cast members and their alias choices?

UGH WHAT IS IT ABOUT CHECK-INS AND MEET AND GREETS THAT BRINGS OUT THE CHEESIEST IN PEOPLE. "OH, MY CHARACTER IS KNOWN FOR 1 THING, I WILL AWKWARDLY MAKE A GREETINGS POST THAT AWKWARDLY TIES IN THAT ONE THING AND THEN PEOPLE WILL LIKE ME" Well, Twisted Butch Lockley has too much pride to play that game. People are cheesy. These specific people already seem very cheesy. Michele is SO cheesy, and i hate her rep because why would you choose possibly the most uninteresting and overhyped-in-the-ORGverse character in Kaoh Rong so far? I don't get the hype. Sugar is being annoying. No one else has really stood out. I'm not trying to stand out. I'm gonna play it a lot cooler in the pregame so no one knows what an active player I am til they are on my tribe and interacting with me. As much as it kills me to have to suppress my ~~dazzling personality~~.

7. Try your best to make us laugh!

Well if you want, you can help support the Ball State University (man, i need to think of an identity cover story for this game) chapter of College Mentors for Kids and buy a ticket to our first-ever Talent Show fundraiser on Sunday, April 10th where I will be making my third-ever appearance as a standup comedian! Or, here's a joke:

I tried to start a blog about airplanes but it never really took off.

Ha.

Anyways, I am so so so pleased to be a part of this wonderful franchise and I am also READY AND EAGER to be viewed by all the Twisted All-Stars that I unmercifully critiqued last season. I welcome any and all comments and ridicule in my confessional and I am beyond excited to begin this game. Earlier this week, I was looking at my life, and thinking how, with a long-term project, and 2 long-term research papers due a bit before the end of this game, now would be a terrible time to start an ORG. And it will be. But I'm afraid it's more my real life performance that will suffer rather than my ORG performance because I am an idiot creature, and so you will see me laying it all on the line in this game, and HOPEFULLY getting a top 6 placement for the first time.

A F*****G JULIA, WTF. Literally everything I said about Michele applies, nearly to the same degree, about Julia. Possibly the two least important/interesting players in the game thus far.

OMG all of you people are so very kind, I have a knack for getting PWs to dislike me, but this viewers lounge is being so supportive, thank you all, especially those of you who don't hardly know me outside of this game and just like the first impression I'm giving off because that's neat.
