Welcome to your confessional! This is your private haven, meaning that everything that you post here can only be seen by the Hosts and the Prediction Writers. Your secrets are safe with us. On this board, you will cast your votes, do some challenges and pour your heart out. The more you confess, the happier we are! Though we can't make you confess, the more you do, the more likely you'll be to return in future seasons. Try and keep us updated! Refer to past season's winners and finalists for an understanding of what this is usually like.

Though we read your application, a lot of our viewers (or "Prediction Writers") didn't. Here are a few questions for you to answer! Answer them well, and you might get picked for our fantasy teams!

1. What's your strategy going to be like? If you've played ORGs in the past, what was a strategy that's worked well and gotten you far? What is the most fun you've ever had in an ORG? What do you think might be your downfall?

2. What real Survivor would you align with? Who would you never align with (and don't say Russell)?

3. Which popular Survivors do you not like? Which do you think is the best of all time? What's your favourite season? What is your favorite moment in Survivor history?

4. Why will you be the Sole Survivor of Twisted: Ukiyo? Are you a hero or a villain?

5. What element of Survivor do you value most? Stategic? Physical? Social? Something else?

6. What are your very first impressions of your fellow cast members and their alias choices?

7. Try your best to make us laugh!

Any questions? Let us know.

Good luck!

Okay, so it is a really nice day out today, so I don't want to sit here answering all of these until the sun sets (I write a lot), so I'm going to answer each question one-by-one when I have time.

What's your strategy going to be like?

I wish I had something fun to say, like a whole master scheme from start to end of exactly how I'll manipulate this game and win, but... nope. Sorry. I'm going to go with the classic standard: Survive and Adapt.

If you've played ORGs in the past, what was a strategy that's worked well and gotten you far?

Find someone to partner up with early. I do my best when I have someone to scheme with. That's what makes things fun for me! I'm usually pretty loyal... to that one person. Invariably my ally is an easier sell to the jury, so this isn't exactly a winning strategy. Guess I'll work on that...

What is the most fun you've ever had in an ORG?

I don't know if this is the MOST fun, but it's what I thought of when I read the question. I once was betrayed by a guy and he made such ridiculous excuses about it that I couldn't hate him for it, so instead I started joking with him about all the unfortunate things that kept getting in the way of him voting correctly with our alliance, and he would jokingly swear up and down that he was still on my side. We did that for the whole merge. As everyone else compared him to various unflattering creatures, I was still acting like best friends who try to kill each other with him until the very end. It was a really fun dynamic. I loved it.

What do you think might be your downfall?

1. I've got a likability problem.
2. I can get kind of smug, controlling, and petty.
Even if those traits don't end up leading to clouded judgement, See #1.

What real Survivor would you align with?

Mom <3

No, seriously, I don't really know. It's one thing to like watching someone, and something totally different to want to align with them, and something else entirely to ACTUALLY align with someone. As an example, I liked Alecia this season. Really fun, loved watching her. I like to think I would like to align with her. But if we were actually out there in the elements and Alecia was doing Alecia things, I might not feel like working with her. I'm easily exasperated. I'd probably end up in league with the dependable borewhores or the first boot.

Who would you never align with (and don't say Russell)?

Hantz...

Spoiler+

I probably would have trouble with the bigger personality types. Coach, Phillip, Debbie... I love to watch them, but I would not want to live with them. Thankfully, since I don't have to live with my allies in ORGs, just put up with them for a few hours a day, neither of these answers apply. In fact, they could probably be reversed.

And now it's time for a round of... Baylor is a worthless, filthy casual!!!

Which popular Survivors do you not like?

I don't really like Parvati. The femme fatale archetype on Survivor bores me.

Which do you think is the best of all time?

I don't think you could really justify naming anyone but Sandra for this. Two wins is nothing to scoff at. Aside from her, though... no one. I remember reading once something that Tony said (or maybe it was someone else, idk), that if you played Cagayan 100 times, with little variations but the exact same cast, some people would win it all more than others, but everyone would win at least once. I thought that was a really interesting way of looking at things. So much is really up to luck and circumstances. One little thing going right, or one little thing going wrong, can cotrol the course of the entire season. There are always people who are better at capitalizing on what they get, but for all we know, the objective best is actually someone like Wendy Jo, just stuck in her darkest timeline.

This was such a weasel answer for "I have no opinion."

What's your favourite season?
(From the Cagayan Wikipedia page:)"In a 2015 interview, Jeff Probst admitted that, if Borneo is not taken into consideration, then Cagayan ties with Heroes vs. Villains as his personal favorite season of Survivor ever."

I'm such a filthy casual that I agree with Probst's opinions. I give edge to Cagayan, though.

What is your favorite moment in Survivor history?

You will never beat the Rat and Snake speech. Never.

Let's tackle this one.

Why will you be the Sole Survivor of Twisted: Ukiyo?

This is the hardest question to answer, barring possibly one other... See, I really don't like to hype myself up or toot my own horn or anything like that. I get nervous knowing people are watching and I might let them down, and I feel like once I go down the path of "I am the greatest, here's why," I'm seriously setting myself up to fail.

But alright, let's go.

I'm going to be the Sole Survivor of Twisted: Ukiyo, because I am the greatest. Here's why.

I'm clever.

I'm the kind of person who is constantly looking for new angles and ideas. I like to think through everything I can and react to everything. I'm never happy just following other people's plans. I have my blindspots, but I'm generally pretty aware, and I rarely ever forget anything, but more importantly, I'm good at finding ways to use whatever is in front of me to my advantage.

I could go on but I'll save it for when I actually have the examples to back it up.

Are you a hero or a villain?

I feel like I'm sounding like a villain right now, but I don't honestly think I am. If you drew a line in the sand and put a gun to my head, I would say I'm a hero; the real answer is more like an anti-villain than anything. I can be smug and I really enjoy scheming, but I'm not totally ruthless. I'm usually never mean and I'm not out to make people's days worse, or, if you're going with some ORGers' definitions of villains, I'm not posting gifs of my character and calling myself HBIC. I'm also not really a big backstab kind of person. That's a last resort. I'm actually very loyal... I just try to pick my loyalties carefully.

This one asks a single question which is nice because I just woke up and want the illusion of getting something done.

What element of Survivor do you value most? Stategic? Physical? Social? Something else?

I like that you said "value most" and not "best at," because that's two different answers for me. Time for another weasel answer! I value "something else" the most.

The most fun part about ORGs for me is the story that ends up coming out of the game: the way we all interact and the way the season plays out. It's a combination of social and strategic, with a side of physical and a little bit of something hard to define. None of those elements on their own is nearly as fun as the story they work to tell. Strategy alone is boring if it's not furthering something interesting, like a partnership or a rivalry or a sweet revenge arc. Challenge wins and nothing else are boring if they aren't connected to a bigger picture. And the social game alone is stagnant and kind of annoying without the pressure of events in the game.

Oh my god, I leave the Meet and Greet thread alone for a while and it's up to 5 pages.

So, I'll get back to this one again once we start talking one-on-one, but for now:

What are your very first impressions of your fellow cast members and their alias choices?

They all seem pretty fun to me! I feel like I would LOVE watching Sugar. Time's going to have to tell if I love playing with her. She gets huge credit for nailing the character thing. I really appreciate that. Debbie's pretty good too, but she seems to force it a bit. But I mean I can't critique her on that. On the opposite end, Tom kind of annoyed me breaking the character stuff and he kind of seems like an asshole. Penner's funny. I think we'll get along. Brad's great too.

I don't think I have any other opinions right now. I think Michelle got her avatar changed? Maybe? I liked the other one better, but I'm saying that not even sure if she did switch.

I will guide this question and answers game to its proper formatting. Duty calls. It's Baylor's time.

Damn it, Sydney. I was hoping someone like Brad or Penner would answer the flats or heels question. Oh well.

I won't be able to do that much talking tonight, maybe just an hour at best, so if you push it back I definitely won't complain!

I'm a heels kind of guy. Flats are more comfortable, obviously, but my confidence in heels is mathematically doubled. Plus, flats can't make my ass pop.
