The last vote went completely as planned. Despite some scrambling (to be expected), Chicken was voted out and our alliance of four stayed strong. On Ozato, I was pretty disappointed that Tom got voted out. He seemed like a cool guy and we had some nice conversations, but he’s gone now.

Butch hasn’t been online as much recently, but I’ve gotten to talk to Debbie more. I’ve probably talked to her the most this past round. After Chicken sent her to Ukiyo, I got a solid amount of information about what goes on over there, and I’m thrilled I got that info without visiting myself and putting that target on my back.

I’ve been talking a lot to Kat (who’s on the other Coast tribe) as well. She’s really nice and easy to talk to, and it’d be great if we ended up on the same tribe when a swap comes along. She doesn’t seem like much of a schemer, and I like to have allies that aren’t terribly strategic. In addition, she’s also a good social player, which would be a great complement to my behind-the-scenes strategic play because I’m not the most socially gifted player ever.

The big news from this round was that we won a challenge. Unfortunately, Ozato didn’t get the victory, but I think they brought that on themselves. We tried to formulate a strategy with them to work together in order to beat the other two tribes, but they decided to change it up a bit at the last minute. If they had stuck to the original plan, it could’ve easily been the two Mountain tribes going to tribal council. But a win's a win, and I’ll happily take this one.
