I can understand that sentiment, with all the awesome, awesome TCs that have occurred, but this cast is just so hard to like, all across the board. I'm a big fan of seasons with awesome and dynamic casts, with likable heroes, and fun and respectable villains (read: Tony Vlachos), and this cast is kind of a dud, even to the point where all the action can hardly redeem it. Jason - Extremely cocky and abrasive, and not only that, but cocky and abrasive in a very cliche way Aubry - Has the makings of a scrappy underdog, but is ultimately supremely gamebotty and pretty boring Julia - Solid UTR character, I suppose, but ultimately shows little interesting personality and is hardly someone who can carry a season Michele - See Julia, except Michele has done even less and really is neither interesting or consequential Joe - Underwhelming and pretty inconsequential. Occasionally naive, as well. Good guy who adds very little Cydney - Really pretty solid as a low-key character and a non-stereotypical black woman, but ultimately not someone who can help carry the brunt of a season herself Tai - Probably the best character of the season to this point, very dynamic and at the center of all the drama...but hardly any kind of God-tier character. If he is the best a cast has to offer, it's probably not an extremely great cast Scot - Occasionally good villain, often overconfident douchey guy who is slightly better than Jason, as much as I wanted to like the guy. Mostly just a negative Debbie - Fun but also tiresome at a certain point. Nick - Amusingly cocky, but ultimately not a huge factor beyond 2 or 3 episodes. Neal - Cool guy, vastly under edited, ultimately not much of a factor Peter - One of the better characters this season, but only as a cocky stooge who got brought down hard. And the guy lasted, what, 6 episodes? Anna - Had potential, didn't really do much, especially outside of her boot episode. Caleb - Kind of gimmicky for us non-BB watchers. Had fun moments with Tai and that was about it Alecia - I guess you love or hate her. I was kind of more on the "hate her" bandwagon as I was frustrated to see her beat out actually competent players and also to see like 98% of the blame for the Brawn camp incidents go to Scot and Jason and not to Alecia for just being an annoying person who was hard to live with. Definitely didn't do enough either way to really make a season good. Liz - Had a few good moments, overrated in the hotness department, eh Ear worm Girl - had a worm in her ear. Shouldn't have been voted out over Alecia. that is all I remember about her. Darnell - O SWEET PRINCE. I WILL REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS. But still, robbed or not, the guy was in one episode. So like...who in this cast is really great enough as an individual to make this season top-tier memorable? Tai? Aubry?? Jason??? Peter???? Tai is legitimately the only one of those I can say with a straight face, and unless someone like Michele or Julia or even Joe emerges as a surprise total badass, I don't see this season coming near my Top 10 all-time

I think this is a season where the whole is better than any of the individual parts, if that makes any sense.

Nobody is calling this the best season of all time, or really near the top of it. Let's just enjoy the ride that it's bringing us on! :D

I'm just stanning so much for Julia <3 <3 <3 It's so nice to see an eighteen year old "hot" girl getting portrayed as an actual gameplayer at once. They're not editing her as a strategic mastermind or anything, especially with her getting caught as a double agent. But they showed a clip of Aubry saying, "she's a good gameplayer". Even if she's getting caught and it's a little sloppy, I'm really happy to see her finally starting to break out and be an independent player and character.

Why didn't Scot and Jason make up the plan that Scot and Tai both play an idol when Jason won immunity............. It does exactly the same thing as keeping them to form a super idol, no matter what one of them is safe and they clearly expected one of them to get the most votes regardless. If they both played it, it was a 100% guarantee. But I'm not complaining!

Because there's a chance the girls turn on each other again.

I really don't like Tai. He's got a lot of complex morality, but that's kind of the exact opposite of what he's spent the whole game claiming to be like. If he didn't take the Coach route and claim to be such an ethical and moral person when he's clearly not, I'd probably enjoy him, but I find the hypocrisy annoying and rather distasteful.
