WELCOME TO YOUR FIRST TRIBAL COUNCIL, OZATO!

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Behind each of you is a torch. Grab a torch and approach the flame. Dip it in and get fire. In this game fire represents your life. Once your fire is gone, so are you.

There are two stages to Tribal in this game. First, please answer the question directed at you in this thread. To vote, see your Voting Thread in your confessional. If you're confused, please message us for clarification!

Time for some questions....

Alexis & Tom: That was certainly an intense and SORTA confusing challenge to start the season off with. Did this challenge help much with tribe bonding? What do you think about the fast start to this season?

Dana & Kat: You're tribe seemed to work together with the other Coastal Tribe, Aso, and now you are both here at Tribal Council. Do you think the Mountain tribes worked together? How do you think the two sides are going to affect the dynamic of this game?

Sugar: How does it feel to be the losing chief and losing a potential opportunity to go to Ukiyo?

Sydney: What do you need to do in order to survive a tribal council with only six people? Nervous at all?

Everyone: How does the fact that you have a target whose elimination would earn you bounty points affect your early decisions and votes?

You have until 10 PM tomorrow to cast your vote (~23 hours). Remember, not voting by the deadline will result in a self-vote, and nobody likes a self-voter (except the pre-jury camp) ;)

Good luck!

Sugar: How does it feel to be the losing chief and losing a potential opportunity to go to Ukiyo?

Honestly I'm not too upset about it. It was the first round so it's not like I could have bought anything and while frolicking around in the wild would be fun, I don't want to need any special powers to win this game. In my opinion, if I can't get by with my own personal gameplay, then I shouldn't be here. I've never been a fan of idols or vote nullifiers or vote stealers or whatever crazy stuff is going on over there.

The main reason I was excited at potentially going was because I'd be able to report back to my tribe so we can all get a clear understanding of what to expect. So I feel bad that I don't get to share that information with them. :(

Everyone: How does the fact that you have a target whose elimination would earn you bounty points affect your early decisions and votes?

Doesn't affect my decision at all. I'm not going to vote someone out just because I might get an individual reward because of it. Tribes that try to play the individual game too early ALWAYS go down in flames. My votes will reflect what's best for creating a solid, cohesive unit moving forward.

omg it was all such a blur, I didn't even notice if Ki and Sakai ever attacked each other. I have to assume they didn't because they kicked our butts! We are obviously gonna have a better relationship with the Aso's because we get to, you know... talk to them, so for now the enemy lives on the mountains! But I'm sure you'll find a way to pit us against our lovely coastal companions. It already didn't take long for the "us or them" talk when the challenge was looking bleak so we'll see!

not at all. You'll have to bribe me with better than that to get me to vote out someone I love for your fancy rocks<3

Honestly I don't think the challenge did much for tribe bonding because I think we were a pretty cohesive unit before hand. Everybody did amazing in the challenge, so it's not like anybody got left out or is taking the blame. I thought we were the love tribe before the challenge and I still think that. I liked the fast start but I will miss when it was the 6 of us talking about shit like tribe nicknames and Zayn Malik.

How does the fact that you have a target whose elimination would earn you bounty points affect your early decisions and votes?

It doesn't mean shit until we see what's for sale, and even then it probably won't mean shit. The things one might find in some fictional floating Japanese internet island may help you get to the end, but it won't make everybody like you.

Well, it showed us that we are very organized and that we are capable of coming through with a set strategy on how to do something and actually stick to it. It allowed us to truly bond because we got to see how everyone contributed and how to come up with a plan based on everyone's input.

That pace at which the game's moving is crazy! I can't believe we were checking in last Friday and we're already voting someone out. I supposed its fair to expect such a rush-y pace since we have an abnormal size cast.

How does the fact that you have a target whose elimination would earn you bounty points affect your early decisions and votes?

If we all would go ahead and vote for our "target" to claim our bounty, then we'd all be receiving 1 vote and all hell would break loose. I don't think bounty its going to be a factor this round, and I don't expect it to be in the near future. We are a cohesive unit and I truly believe we'd put the tribe's best interests before ours.

Sydney: What do you need to do in order to survive a tribal council with only six people? Nervous at all?

Well to survive this tribal, you need to see your name fewer than four times on those pretty little parchments! But in all seriousness, it is nerve-wracking considering I let an opportunity for us to win slip out of our hands. But everyone has assured me that this won't affect their decision, and I am extremely grateful for their love.

Everyone: How does the fact that you have a target whose elimination would earn you bounty points affect your early decisions and votes?

I'm in full agreement with everything previously said by my beautiful teammates :)

I think the Mountain tribes worked together for sure. They might not have piled on one tribe like we did but they definitely weren't coming after each other at all. I think when you're only talking to half of the game it's easy to feel loyalty to that half so itll be interesting to see what happens once the two halves are reunited, especially if the numbers stay uneven.

Frankly it doesn't haha. I'd rather just pretend they aren't there and make choices based on who I'm connecting to because it would be silly to fuck my game up just to get some points to buy some unknown item.
