Kat Edorsson

Name: Rodney
Age: 24
Where you might know her from: Rustic 2 player & current co-host - Rodney
Twisted AS - PW Ben Browning
39Days - Chase

"The way I see it is I should never have to rely on immunity to be safe, that is what my social game is for. You won't catch me going 30 hours on endurance, I make my bones in the social realm."

Woo says: I think Kat will do well. I don't have much else to say. I've never seen him play before, but I know he's extremely dedicated, entertaining and active. He's also extremely polarizing, so we'll see where you guys end up in regards to him.

Chelsea says: I haven't really seen Kat play unless you count Euro (which for her sake probably shouldn't) and I think she has the potential to do well. Very likable guy and I feel like she has a good head on her shoulders and as a result should be able to FLOURISH in this cast. I'm hyped af for the schtick.

Marisa Calihan

Name: Kate
Age: ?
Where you might know her from: GvE Paradiso & All Stars - Mary

Woo says: I love Mary. I think that IF SHE'S SEEN AS AROUND ENOUGH, she could seriously woo (like my name guys) people over and make a mark. She's one to watch, as well.

Tyler says: I've heard good things so I can't wait to see her play. Total wild card for me personally so it should be fun going in with no history.

Chelsea says: Mary <3 She's certainly a CHARMER and has the potential to be a social threat if she's around. She hasn't had a great string of games recently but I'm CONFIDENT that she will be able to improve and do well this time around.

Matty Whitmore

Name: Chris
Age: 25
Where you might know him from: Twisted 1 - Coach
Warriors - Malcolm
Rustic - Aras

"When I win I'm going to make everyone bow down to me in a parade of glory and sheet forts."

Woo says: Matty seems to do well in these things, honestly. He's a bit raunchy and ~out there, but he's dedicated and hella fun. I don't see him falling short early, but I don't think I see him winning either.

Tyler says: I'm extremely hyped to see Malcolm played Twisted. I was a big fan in Warriors 8 because of his very arrogant attitude and CPN-ness that seemed to be exaggerated for confessionals. As a former OTT villain and an ever-present source of arrogance, I see a lot of myself in him and so I'm definitely rooting for him. I think he's a good strategic player who has a chance to go deep (probably mid-jury) while providing very entertaining confessionals along the way.

Michele Fitzgerald

Name: Chris
Age: 22
Where you might know her from: FvF India - Brinley
Rustic 4 - Amanda

"I consider myself to be most like Amanda Kimmel specifically from Survivor: Micronesia. Amanda was a social strategist and she made big, powerful moves when she needed to. She was a phenomenal social competitor and remained loyal to her main chicka, Parv. If casted, I definitely plan to play like Amanda. Why? because it works. The tricky part is determining how aggressive to be (depends on the cast)."

Woo says: I'm all on the Amanda train. I found her incred in Rustic & in Epic. Yet, her gameplay is Rustic left me questioning her STRATEGIC mind, so she could fall early. I can't guarantee she'll go far, but I think she'll be v enjoyable while she's here.

Tyler says: Brinley was an absolute sweetheart to play with and a very interesting player. She was great socially and managed to impress me even though we didn't talk much while still having a great strategy and being a serious threat to win. I've also heard great things about her confessional ability so I'm a huge fan atm. Probably my winner pick if I only had one.

Chelsea says: Since rejoining the ORG community she has been steadily improving and I feel like she's going to be a social force to be reckoned with. People who talk to her seem to love her and that's going to be a huge help. Just haven't' seen what she can do on a strategic level yet.

Reynold Toepfer

Name: Kam
Age: 21
Where you might know him from: Twisted 4 player & Twisted AS PW - Max

"My weakness is definitely that I can be impatient and not want to talk hours on end about life or the game because I have other things to do. I'll overcome this by trying to be more patient and leaving AIM on. Also, I'm going to use my less social-ness as an advantage mainly by trying to get people to take me to the end, and then being like "HA! That was my strategy all along, you fools!" I mean, that probably won't work, but maybe it's worth a shot."

Woo says: Reynold proved in the AS VL that he's a really smart guy. Yet, he left a LOT to be desired in India, and I wonder how much time he really has. I'm pegging Reynold as an early boot, but I'm still rooting for him.

Tyler says: I'm very excited to see Max again. I never really got the chance to play against him in Twisted 4 but reading through the AS VL, he was very active (more so than in India) and had great strategic insights that will give him a good chance to go deep and potentially win if he can incorporate them into his own gameplay. He seems like a very observant and self-aware player who has a good shot if he can stay active.

Chelsea says: I don't remember a lot about Max from Twisted 4 other than getting mega-screwed by a rock pull in a round where he almost switched his vote. He seems like a really smart guy and I HOPE to see great things. Can't say I have super high expectations either way.

Sash Lenahan

Name: Ryan
Age: 23
Where you might know him from: Endure
The Genius Icons

"I generally like to align with the people who when you think about your tribe don't come first to mind, not necessarily floaters, but just the less out there or crazy types. It is easier for big personalities to clash and target/work with each other but they need the help of those other kinds of players. It has worked for me in the past to align with those people in the beginning so we can have some power by being the ones who are needed."

Woo says: Ryan Palmer did very well in Endure 2, and this is first closed ID game. Honestly, his application was TERRIBLE, but his interview really showed that he knows what he's doing. I don't know what to expect from Sash, total absolute wildcard. As of right now, he's doing pretty well for himself, though.

Tyler says: I'm not expecting much from Sash just from his app but I think it will be interesting to see how an open ID player that isn't John Wilson translates their game into a closed ID game.

Spencer Duhm

Name: Keir
Age: 23
Where you might know him from: Newbie!

"But i'll do whatever i think is best for me getting to the end. I don't care if no one likes me, but they are going to at least respect my gameplay when i get to the end."

Woo says: Keir is one of our noobs. And of them, he's my first pick to crash and burn. His interview showcased extreme Boston Rob in India vibes (extremely arrogant overplayer & funny 115 contender). Spencer (bizarre rep choice for the guy) I think will embody where noobs go wrong. I think he'll be hella fun to watch, though.

Tyler says: To quote Jeff Probst, "Spencer has zero chance of winning the game." (never thought I'd be able to actually use that). I like him and his interview was definitely interesting but he just seems deadset on coming to play and stab people in the back and flip even when it's unnecessary. I think he'll either overplay and be an early boot or have a decent premerge but then get really arrogant at the merge and make a lot of unnecessary and ruthless moves that either put him on the jury or make him an FTC goat. Downfall imminent.

Chelsea says: Spencer was definitely cast to be a character. As a noob I'm not sure what to expect from him but he seemed like a nice guy in his interview and because of that I expect that he should be at least INTERESTING to watch.

Sugar Kiper

Name: Bryce Lancaster
Age: 20
Where you might know her from: Sausage Island 10 - Brice
GvE Nova Romae & All Stars - Yancy
Endure
CYS

"I'm a super OTT person and I think that my strength is that I embrace that and I think it can be super endearing. People either really like me or they get really annoyed by me. It's also my biggest weakness and I'm going to solve this problem by figuring out who has more introverted personalities and learning to tone myself down around them."

Woo says: Bryce is a good friend of mine around here. He's a little spaz, frankly, and he'll probably annoy the VL with everything he says and does. THAT HAVING BEEN SAID, I'm so pumped to have him. I find him rly funny and he's also really committed. He's polarizing, I guess, but in a good way.

Tyler says: Excited to see Bryce play for the first time. I know he played GaE where I've heard mixed things about him but he made it to sixth which is impressive enough for me. His app seemed solid and having heard about him (and having played a Skype mini where we didn't talk at all) I'm excited to see how he'll do.

Chelsea says: Having played with him in GaE I can safely say that he is going to be QUITE the character. He'll be polarizing and LIKELY fun to watch. He is totally a spaz like Woo said and because of that, I think he's going to be really funny to watch. My question is will he be able to be able to use his social game to get himself in a good spot, or will he rub people the wrong way.

Sydney Wheeler

Name: Josh
Age: 22
Where you might know her from: Rustic 4 - Penner
Amanda's Survivor - Austin

"Definitely I'm closest in real life to Penner. I'm typically considered a douche, I give strong confessionals, and I have a well-developed strategic mind. Plus we're both Jewish, but I doubt that matters much here. I think to keep things interesting I'd try mixing it up and be the cunning temptress ala Parvati."

Woo says: Anyone who viewed Rustic 4 knows that Penner had a weak social game. He's active, he's conniving and he's entertaining, but he has problems with rubbing people a certain way. He's extremely excited for this game, and I'm pumped to have him, but I think he may be in some early trouble.

Tyler says: I didn't see him play Rustic but I'm excited to see a Sydney rep. His app gave me the impression that he's going to be more of an entertaining character and possibly a great villain to root against (with good confessionals) more so than a threat to win. I don't know him but I'm happy to see him play especially since he apparently has taken a long break since 2011.

Tom Westman

Name: Justin
Age: 19
Where you might know him from: Reddit based ORGs - new to Ndim games!

"[I'm most like] Matthew Von Erfeltda - Fit intellectual with no people skills? Sign me up!"

Woo says: Tom is one of my favorite noobs. He's super excited to play and he has a plan on how he's going to play. In some ways, I think he may be my noob Sally/Gary pick (our most successful noobs in their first seasons). I really think he's chill & self-aware enough to make this thing work for him.

Tyler says: I usually don't have a ton of faith in people who are playing their first game to go deep because, while they're normally really entertaining and awesome to watch, they don't have the experience that others have but I think Tom has the ability to put himself in a great position and ride the game out for a while. His answers seemed informed and I think if he avoids the classic noob mistake of overplaying, he's in one of the better spots to observe and pick a good time to act. I think he'll probably be the most successful noob this season.

Alexis - omg I played my first game with her! She kinda went crazy, but she seems to be able to integrate well into alliances.

Butch - The man, the myth, the legend. I really am rooting for him. I don't think I got to watch him yet? I wasn't able to follow Rustic that close. But I think he really needs to focus on his social game and getting people to like him. Or just general bullshitting he sucks at. He needs to focus on being less meta and more in the moment. He's pretty cynical, which can rub some people the wrong way. But others could find it hilarious. I think it could work well with this rep choice but we shall see!

Caleb - Legend, enuff said. Excited to see how he enteracts with people. Here's hoping for a shit Caleb says thread.

Chicken - Moooooooooookie. Love watching him playing Sausage, I didn't know he won Stranded, but cheers to him, 2 deep runs. He has such a dry sense of humor in his confessional sometimes that crack me up.

Dana - Always fun watching her play. Hope she doesn't start spinning too much in her own head, if she can stay level headed and chill she can go far.

Gervase - Excited to watch him play, I know nothing about him but he's either going to be loveable or hilariously self aware and have an epic downfall, that's my prediction at least.

James - Has he played much alias? Looks like he's playing some intense open ID games, will be interesting to see how his gameplay will translate here. I'm really interested how he'll adapt with this younger cast, obviously nobody will know his age but that could definitely put a wall between him and some people. Hope we get to see him interact with Caleb. That would tickle my fancy.

Jefra - OMG Brendan! His boot was tragic in T4, I thought he had a lot of potential. His activity probably hurt him a bit but I really am excited

JFP - lmao did not expect that to be who played him, but I'm excited. It's a while since I've seen a JFP so I'm hoping he'll put on a good show. I think him comparing himself to Spencer's cambodia game is pretty good (although i've only watched him once). Definitely a very strong player but he seems to rub a few jury members the wrong way, I think if he can make good decisions on the margin (like focusing on capturing/gauranteeing votes) he'll def have it locked down for poundtown. Either way I expect him to go the distance.

Julie - I only watched them play once but they were so captivating! I don't know much about them, since I have such a small sample size but they are a very perceptive player. I have a feeling she'll be good at sniffing out alliances and I don't think she's going anytime soon. In the game I watched she had an idol too, but played it way too conservatively, allowing the majority to control a large portion of the game. If she trusts her gut I could see her going the distance. I think she's strong in the fact that she's able to communicate with a wide range of people which is really important.

Kat - Haven't got to watch her play but I'm definitely excited. Rooting for her!

Matty - Excited to watch him again too. He's pretty funny.

Reynold - More T4 hypeee. I don't think I got to talk to him much in the game, didn't he get like rocked out or something? Really have no idea what happened over there, but either way its a shitty way to leave. Here's hoping he can find redemption!

Spencer - lel, he's going to get humbled real quick

Sugar - Excited to get to see her play alias again. Always super fun to watch and a hard player. Definitely has a good chance of finding idols, they are a very well rounded player. At first he really turned me off when I was watching him in SI, but he really grew on me. He puts all of himself into the game which earns all my respect.

Tom - Going to be excited to see how he transitions from reddit to NDIM/aim based ORGs. Completely different monster, a lot of noobs seem to underestimate how active you have to be so hopefully he won't fall into that trap
