I'm actually really proud of Kate, though.

To be fair, I think our contenders were solid at the time. I was hesitant to put Kate up there because she's told people she wasn't here to win and it DEFINITELY wasn't strategy. I think she truly believed that and it was only recently where she realized she could win and took advantage of that.

OKAY FINE, WE FLOPPED.

I think Kate played a solid game, minus a few slip ups here and there. I like her journey and she seems like a cool person. And it is really hard to cut a friend loose at final 3.

But I still cant get over her and Eric's attitudes all season. #SorryNotSorry

They better have really good speeches or I'm not impressed.

I like Kate as a winner, because she didn't play an immaculate game but she definitely played a very complex one. I like flawed winners, and I felt like Jacob played a little bit too...well? Like it feels like he's been in control for so long that it's almost refreshing to see him eliminated right at the very end, if that makes sense at all. Obviously he's very blatant all-star material though

I can see that. I've been rooting for a power overthrow all season :P

But selfishly I was hoping itd be at the hands of Thomas or Anthony.

Also I can empathize with Jacob, given I probably would have gone 3rd if I lost the final immunity challenge. He controlled basically everything post merge, and to have that all taken away at the last possible second is brutal. Pretty much my worst nightmare. I wonder how much of it had to do with Thomas/Anthony's protests as well. But as much as I complain it was smart of Kate to vote him out. Its just hard to watch.

Lmao well teto might have :P but teto sucked at that challenge. Devon was my biggest competition and im not sure he would have. Theres a chance, but probably not.

When the cast reveal happened, I saw Kate as someone who I thought could actually win this game. Then, when she started playing and was being so sloppy with who she was telling what to, I thought she would just continue being OTT and eventually shoot herself in the foot. I questioned some of her moves along the way, but look at her now! She is in the final two where she has the advantage. I agree with Sagar when he said that she'd be a refreshing winner. She played emotionally a lot throughout the game and you don't see a lot of people who successfully pull off that gameplay.

I have to give her credit though, she knew how to hide behind the right people come merge time and then she used Jacob for his strategic ability and cut him right at the perfect time. She didn't 100% plan for this like she tried to make it seem in her opening speech, but she has rolled with what has been thrown at her and adapted well. Though I'm incredibly disappointed J-money couldn't take it all, Kate is definitely a deserving winner in my books :D

Jacob would have been an amazing winner, as would many of the jury members. It's sad.



I feel maybe I'd be happier with this f2 if this season didn't have so many great characters. In comparison with all the other f2s that could have happened, this seems like kind of a letdown for an otherwise A+ season.

But this is Survivor not American Idol (or my favorite game: Elise chooses who wins), so it happened. Props to Kate and Eric, they made it when everyone else couldn't. It's a long game and they managed to survive, which is the entire point of playing. Yadda yadda yadda.

I'm still not happy though. :P
