Waiting to see if Kate does something to switch it up or if that was all talk. I'll write a novel once we get more confessionals from people who aren't Thomas/Anthony.

In the meantime, the Wonkarosa chat is making me facepalm.

Eric wants to keep on marching to the end with Jacob and Kate. I'm having trouble deciding if his gameplay is more compelling in this season or season 12.

She must really be banking on a F3 immunity win.

My biggest worry is that Anthony/Thomas are gonna do so much damage on the way out, trying to take down Jacob (who they are right is the one that has played the best) that they're just going to make it so that Jacob 100% needs to win immunity at F3 or Kate/Eric (who they don't seem to think are deserving) are going to win the game.

I know that's not their intention, as they're just trying to target the threat, but yeah.

My thoughts on the episode:

Wow so frustrating to see people not playing to win but playing to let Jacob win. Dude has won enough games. **eyeroll** And if the F2 is Eric and Kate then major barfage in advance.

I think Kate's done fairly well for herself. I don't think she'd beat Jacob, but if she maneuvers into F2 with someone she's got a shot at beating, her path there hasn't been barfworthy.

She'd have a good path minus constantly talking about how she has no desire to win. I don't have a problem with her journey as much as her lack of trying.

Okay, yeah, I'm reading about that in Anthony's confessional now and rescind my statement. Her talk with Lindsay before about just wanting to make jury I wrote off as downplaying her threat level, but if it's an excuse at f5 for not making the moves that need to be made - go home. I might've doomed my Pick'em team with the name #SweetSurrender.

Yeah I thought it was just a bad attempt at downplaying (which I still dislike) until I read her confessional this week. In which case she actually says she knew she was never going to win this game, despite being in one of the best positions to do so. It's one thing to be proud you made it this far, its another thing to completely disregard the point of the game. I don't even think it's entirely a friendship thing either, she just doesn't seem to care. And Eric said the exact same thing in his confessional.

So yeah. Im really hoping at least one of J-Money or Thomas makes it to the end.

Edit: Hahahaha I probably doomed my pick em team by naming them after a band on Ponderosa. At least they all made jury though!

See, I've always thought Kate was serious about her not winning this game and wasn't downplaying herself at all. Her saying it to Lindsay, sure... but she's also said it in confessionals.

That said, I thought when Lindsay went that she had a change of heart and was going to put on her GAME FACE and take a shot at Jacob at 5. It's entirely possible her plan is still to boot him at 4, but it's hard to tell with her.
