To me, nobody in this cast has been more surprising thus far than Thomas. I had expectations that he'd be fun based on his application, but I really didn't think he was long for the game.
It remains to be seen if he'll last, but his standing in the game right now is solid. He's interesting as hell, he has complex thoughts, and he's such a breath of fresh air to the game.
Thomas is fascinating, Thomas is funny, and despite what he says about his dedication and priorities, I think Thomas is playing it right and with earnestness.

He's the most interesting recruit easily and I like the fact that he's suddenly on the ins of his tribe and invaded Jacob and Donovan's alliance. He's learning fast and his confessionals are among the best IMO.

Since his confessionals are getting longer and longer I have a hunch that while he initially had this pegged as sort of a silly side game he was using to find new friends, it's slowly taking over his life, as ORGs tend to do.
He is showing a lot of potential, I hope he goes far!

He's doing well atm and learning fast, I have hope his strategy will evolve beyond "be nice and hope it gets me far". Regardless, his confessionals are by far my favorite and he deserves an award just for that <3

I was a newbie, but I knew to look because Sassy asked me if I was Slayer from isurv1vor the first day lol. So I don't think it'd be a stretch for him to find out. But who knows.
