Poor Spencer :( I hope he pulls through and wins another immunity. If only just so Vanderbilt has to screw over one of their deals sooner than expected, which is always fun.

But yeah, provided Eric doesnt randomly have a change of heart, this is the last time anyone can stop the Vanderbilt takeover. But Lindsay has no idea how much danger she's in, Anthony has a solid plan but has no idea that Eric's a traitor, Thomas doesnt want to make a move just yet, and Spencer's trying to save himself but it's pretty much futile at the moment.

I really hope Anthony will able to manage to survive to the end despite the Vanderbilts being in power. I think if he makes it to the end he has a great chance of winning (a la Casey from last season), and probably wont be targeted until Lindsay is gone. Fingers crossed!

Aww wish Stacey had posted the birthday thing instead... I thought Anthony's responses were funnier than her outburst.

As for Lindsay, I want to see her do well but her last confessional just made me cry. Both Anthony and Lindsay have the blinders on and think they're safe, but Anthony seems to have a lot more self awareness than Lindsay. I hate to say it but I'm not sure I'd be happy with a Lindsay win at this point. Maybe it has to do with my experiences from last season, but her gameplay post merge has done nothing but frustrate me. I'd be happy to see a shakeup, but I think Jacob would make a 100x better winner than Lindsay.

As for Spencer, I think his lack of experience is showing. He has a good chance of winning immunities and knows he needs to do something to survive. He just hasn't been great at executing his own plans, throughout the entire season actually. Socially he hasn't been the greatest, but there is a slight chance that his friendships with Anthony and Thomas will amount to something. Those are the two he needs on his side now, but unfortunately I think Anthony is so committed to Lindsay that he wouldn't make a move without her. And it's clear she thinks everything is 100% in control and there's absolutely no danger in keeping Jacob/Kate around. As weird as it sounds, I think the best thing for Anthony would be Spencer winning immunity and Lindsay going home. This would free him/wake him up to accept deals with Thomas and Spencer, and though Eric is a thorn in his side I'm not sure Eric would stay loyal to Jacob/Kate if he knew the majority of the votes were going against them.

But again, this is all fanfiction for now. A lot would have to happen this round and next to make that work. For now, as usual, Jacob still has this on lock.

EDIT:
The problem with this "She's been such a big threat since the merge hit and she's managed to keep squeaking by , by being fairly open with her aggressive style of play."
Is it's less by her ability that she's squeaking by, and moreso on Jacob using her as shield and keeping her safe :S People in the game don't realize it yet, of course, but as a viewer I can't really commend her for that.

Jacob's already mentioned flipping the game around if Spencer wins immunity again so that would be exciting!

The person I don't understand at this point right now is Eric. Like Aaron said, he's probably done the best job of the people left in the game of positioning himself to win right now with everything he knows, but he seems comfortable continuing to play under the radar. He's gotta know that Jacob is starting to be perceived as a leader, why not take control of the game right now?? In Eric's latest confessional, he says he heard from Kate that the Lindsay thinks the final four is herself/anthony/kate/jacob and instead of using this to his advantage he says now he just can't talk to Anthony and Lindsay as much.. Has he said anything about his actual FTC plans yet??

You can tell Jacob really understands the game where he talks in his confessional about how now this is the point in the game where you gotta start making moves that YOU can own yourself, so you can build a resume of reasons why you should win. He is doing the right thing at this point.

Either there is some SERIOUS Jacob mist going on (which I would love :P) or Eric is just super confident in his friendships with Anthony, Lindsay and Mike and thinks that he'll still get their votes after riding in Jacobs pocket all the way to the end.

The thing is, I'm not even sure Eric would get the Rockefeller vote in the end. All Jacob/Kate would have to do is reveal Eric had betrayed them the entire time, and it would a) piss them off on an emotional level and b) give the credit for everything Eric did all game to Jacob/Kate's manipulation.

Yeah I know, that's why I'm wondering why he would actually want to go to the end with Jacob and Kate?? Has he said who he would actually want in his ideal ftc? I don't think I've read that anywhere.

I'm not really sure, its been confusing me all season. I think he knew one or both of them before the game, because even on Rockefeller all he talked about was how he couldn't wait to join the other tribe, even though he liked his tribemates.

I 100% agree.

Which is why I still refuse to join Hosty on the Eric train :P It's possible he's doing more moves than we see, but the results are the same nonetheless. He's handing more and more power to Jacob/Kate and weakening his own position.

And as a viewer, his secret alliance with Jacob has been both stopping almost any hope of an entertaining shakeup while not even guaranteeing Eric a final 2 spot, which I find really frustrating.

I'm not saying making a deal with Jacob was a bad idea to keep himself safe, but now would be the time to ditch deals with people that don't guarantee himself a finale spot with someone he could reasonably beat for deals that actually benefit him.

I think a running theme of this season is no one taking one step back and thinking what benefits their chances of winning. Which is a big reason why Jacob's taken over so easily.

Also, Elise, I 100% agree that Jacob would be a better winner than Lindsay (he's not the only one, even though I think she's been such a huge character this season and a really awesome chick). When I think about it, yeah, it would be entertaining if things changed up and she got to the end... but really, you're right, it wouldn't be as satisfying of an outcome given how sloppy her play has been post-merge. I wouldn't necessarily be mad at that outcome, as again, I think Lindsay is GREAT... but J-Money, man. He's good. He's really good. I'm sure I could turn some people off by how much I talk him up, but WHATEVER. He's fucking good.

Someone could surprise us down the stretch, so I shouldn't be ready to crown Jacob's ass, but I am.

Knowing what this challenge is gonna be, I'm not writing Spencer off yet. Granted I don't think he'll win the season, but I feel like Jacob is becoming too obvious. After all, I don't think anyone foresaw Elise winning at this point last season.

I saw myself winning <3

But yeah I see your point. He's definitely the front runner though as at the moment, and a lot of things would have to happen for the other side to take power. If Jacob loses itll have to be now (which, judging by everyones confessionals, is not going to happen unless something major changes. Even then most people have said they want to target kate over Jacob) or at f3 if he loses the last immunity.

But I did write earlier how I could still see a path for Spencer to the end, considering Anthony is already contemplating working with Spencer if he wins immunity (and the fact that Lindsay would likely go if this happens). Which would be awesome to see especially since they're my pickems. But there's still the problem of Eric, I think hed only vote against Jacob/Kate if he knew the majority was and there was no way to dissuade them

PS, I feel like I thought Elise was going to win last season around this point? But really, that doesn't matter.

Winners can be in-your-face-obvious in ORG's. There's no editing, what's obvious to us isn't always like that to the people in the game.

I agree with this 100% <3
Big surprise :P

But on the flip side, it also means someone like Kate, who has written few confessionals and has been super emotional all season, could take the win despite not having a "winners" edit in our eyes. I doubt she'd win against J-Money himself but she could still get votes.

Or going back to last season, Craig was a huge force in the game and a big contender to win despite not writing many confessionals.

Im still trying to learn to untrain myself for looking for the edit lmao. Why Donovans boot seemed like a shock at the time because he was a VL favorite, when really it shouldnt have been that surprising.

This is my 200th post!!! Yay!!!

Unfortunately yeah, I dont think it will be enough to convince them to act now. Anthony has a good gut feeling, but knowing him he won't make a move without Lindsay, and knowing Lindsay she'll 100% trust Eric/Jacob/Kate (because shes in control according to her) and unknowingly put the nail in her own coffin.

In addition, Jacob is using Anthony/Lindsay wanting to vote for Thomas to turn Thomas against them. Of course, Lindsay/Anthony only want to vote Thomas because they think they are allied with Jacob/Kate, but Thomas doesn't know that. Very very smart play on Jacob's part, as it secures Thomas's vote this round and potentially sabotages any hope of Thomas/Anthony teaming up in the future. It's the little things like that that really prove J-Money is the frontrunner.

LOVE Jacob's new confessional, as usual.

Except for the part where Thomas might get booted :S

I could be wrong, but I feel like Spencer would side with a Lindsay boot over a Thomas boot if Kate doesn't follow through with voting Lindsay. He doesn't fully trust Thomas, but it's one of the only people that has even given him a chance. Lindsay certainly hasn't. I don't know if Jacob would even have to approach him about it -- Thomas said that he was gonna let Spencer know, and Spencer is probably chomping at the bit to take a threat like Lindsay out regardless.

That said, I think Kate ultimately ends up following through with the Lindsay vote if both Eric and Jacob are on board.

I agree that Spencer will 100% side with voting out Lindsay unless the majority says otherwise. Like you said, he's friends with Thomas, Lindsay is a big threat AND both his fellow Carnegies dying words were "get rid of Lindsay".

I think Kate is stubborn but, as you said, would follow with Eric/Jacob.

My question is Eric. So far he's been able to hide which side he's been on, but a Lindsay boot would finally force him to show his cards. With Kate also fighting to keep Lindsay, if I were him I would prefer to boot Thomas in order to a) keep his alliance hidden for another week b) to ensure a f3 with Vanderbilt instead of a f4 while not being the instigator(aka Kate). But idk if he will do this. Jacob seems very intent on a Lindsay boot and likely will not change his mind.
