My body was shaking uncontrollably leading up to that vote last night. It also didn't help that Rory told Erik he had an idol and was playing it... Thank goodness it was a test, I was scared to death he was going to idol his boy Stephen and our plan would be all for naught.

Anywhoooooooooo, we did it! The plan went off without a hitch and I don't think many people suspected it happening. Perhaps Caryn, since she did play an idol... but she wasted it and that is even better for me. The vote worked and we got out a "big threat" in Stephen, and the last idol was basically tossed in the fire for show. I was ecstatic about this happening and I'm having so much fun now. I don't know if it's the fact I had fun pulling off this big blindside or had fun deceiving others, but this game just got a hell of a lot better. My new alliance is definitely helping since they are much more fun and personable than the other side of the game. I enjoy chatting with them as much as I enjoy scheming.

Right now the plan is to stick with our 6 as long as possible, but things could always change. I'll try my best to make inroads with this group of 6 to help my standing if we do go the distance, but if not I'm still keeping my options open. I'll continue to try and socialize with those in the minority in case things go haywire, or to help build some social bond in case they are on jury and I'm in the final.

I think I'm in a good position regardless of what happens in the next few rounds though. I'm definitely not one of the big targets that people will want to go for ASAP, so even if my alliance falls apart I don't believe I would be the one to have my torch snuffed first. I'm still trying to play up that underdog mentality to people and hopefully I can continue to slide my way deeper into this game.

Well this challenge is a doozy... I will attempt it tomorrow when I'm equipped with a good night's sleep and lots of caffeine.

Not that I was going to win anyway... But I was staring at the clock posting, and mixed up the hour and minute marks. It was 1700 so I thought I read 17minute but that had passed.
