So HAG HAVOC (plus Rory! (: ) managed to get Stephen to blindside Katie. Sue stays safe. The hags stay intact. The idol stays hidden(-ish) and unplayed.
Katie was understandably upset. Sierra is PIIIIIIIIIIIISSED. She's going on a rampage of passive aggressiveness right now. Apparently everyone is so dumb for voting against her best wishes. She's one of those people who act like everyone's "best move in the game" is conveniently the thing that most benefits her. I can't stand the condescension and the lack of self-awareness. We three hags took three different approaches. I told Sierra flat out what my reasoning was in a logical way. Monica played like she made a naive mistake. Sue went Tyson Apostol and started openly mocking Sierra. I don't think anyone realizes that the three of us are super tight, which is just fantastic for our game.
Erik is a little weasel. He came to me and said "I would've been down for voting Katie out; I just didn't know and wah wah wah" ... If you wanted Katie out, you should have said something. Don't play the victim with me and act like I owe you anything. THEN I hear no more than 2 hours later that he's shopping my name around as the next boot. I hope people see through his whole dumb kid routine because it's not working on me anymore.
Speaking of the next boot, we have a plan to turn the vote completely in our favor. Monica still has plenty of social capital with Stephen and Erik and Sierra. Next time we go to tribal council, she can say "Oh, since Caryn might have the idol, let's split votes onto Caryn and Sue." Then Monica, Sue, and I vote Sierra out in a 3-2-1 Hag-fest. That's only if we go to tribal though, and I don't think ANYBODY on this tribe is going to let us lose right now.
Rory talked to me about me and him going to the final two and how all the numbers are perfect for us now and how we'll have majority for the rest of the game. I think he's spoonfeeding me a little bit of BS, but I think he's mostly genuine. If he really wants to stay strong until the end, that would be a nice ace up my sleeve until I need to play him.
I love this. I was on the bottom of the pecking order, and now everybody's scrambling and plotting and trying to piece together the shards of their broken plans. Petyr Baelish once said "Chaos is a ladder" and that is SO evident right now as I claw my way back into this game. | The soc major in me in love with you using "social capital" so casually <3 |
