Tonight's challenge is called...



Tonight, your three tribes will go to war. The twelve of you competing are armed with just a spear and a shield. As a group of four, your goal is to work together to survive the night by fending off your opponents while striking against them yourselves. Here's how it works:

There's two roles in this challenge, each tribe of four must designate two players for each group.

The Attacker: Armed with just a spear, the attacker's job is to strike either of the two opposing tribes to score points for your own.

Every thirty minutes, the attacker may throw a spear at another tribe. To do so, post the following:

"[NAME] throws a spear at [tribe]"



If the attacker is successful and hits the tribe without being blocked, he or she will score a point for your tribe. The attacker may then attack again thirty minutes or more later. They can attack the same tribe, or spread their attacks out to either. This all goes for both players on your tribe who are designated attacker. Their attacks and time limits do not effect one another.


The Shield: The two players with the shield have an important job. To keep your tribe from being hit.

At any point, when the players with the shields see an incoming attack on their team from an opposing attacker, they may block the spear by posting the following:

"[NAME] blocks [NAME's] spear"



This must be posted within FIVE minutes of the spear being thrown at your tribe. If it's outside of the five minutes (to the second), the spear will strike you.

If a spear strikes your tribe, your tribe will lose a point. Every time you score a hit, you receive a point. But every time you receive a hit, you lose one. Teamwork is essential, as both partners have an equally important role in the scoring.

The role selection doesn't need to be made official. As soon as you throw a spear or use a shield, you will automatically become the attacker or the shield. Remember, there are two attackers and two shields per tribe. You cannot switch once you've begun, so choose wisely.

However! At exactly 12:00 Noon EST tomorrow, you may switch roles once if you wish. Once noon strikes, without needing to announce, any of you may switch positions if you feel it's best for your tribe. Just be sure there are still two of each role. Once you do this, you're stuck in those roles for the remainder of the challenge.

You have 24 hours to land as many successful hits and blocks as you can. This will end at 10:00 EST tomorrow. You'll do all of this entirely in this thread.

At the end of 24 hours, the one tribe with the highest amount of points will win Immunity. For the two losers, you'll be heading to a joint Tribal Council tomorrow night, where one of you will be voted out. Big stakes!
