I don't know if I said last confessional that I suspected a tribe swap was coming (and I cba clicking like 3 times to check) but YOOOO here it is. of course as fate would have it I've ended up with STEPHEN and it feels like a cruel joke (he is the inspiration for this confessional title btw). I guess it would actually be worse if I ended up on a tribe of people I really liked though because then I'd have to choose sides against at least some of them sooooo I can't really complain. I really trust Garrett, in part because I have to given our situation and in part because I feel like he's super genuine with me. I think his timezone puts him at a social disadvantage kinda so he's probably stuck with me lol

Yve is really nice but she can be super hard to carry a conversation with and I ~know~ she had a lot to do with Stephen not going last TC so I don't expect her to side with me if it comes down to that which is annoying ugh

Monica is a fucking weirdo. like 2 days ago she randomly started chatting Vytas up having never talked to him before and tried to subtly con him into a final 2 deal which gave him the creeps. today Erik was telling me that Monica had vocalized her BURNING HATRED towards oldSangoma (including Vytas) to him so of course I went and told Vytas and she's probably in trouble on her tribe now because it's 2 - 2 - 1 as it is. what a SHAME

I love him! everyone seems to though which is pretty great because everyone is open with him about stuff and then he passes it on to me so I am privy to more things :')

I hope we both make merge because I think we work together super well and he stays up until ridiculous hours which fits my timezone well

I retract the above post because Vytas already has the Sangoma idol........ and this TC twist has like RUINED EVERYTHING. Monica wants me out and she apparently has the Marehemu idol, and me & Erik are fairly sure Kim has the Y'mra S'bor one. that. is. fucked.

I want to get rid of Kim this round because letting her escape when she's vulnerable seems like a complete fucking mistake. in theory this should be easy, but I'm not sure that I have Vytas and Sue anymore. I suggested booting Kim to them and they came up with a billion excuses not to. I did it in part because I want to see whether it gets back to Erik that I brought her name up, which would confirm where Vytas' and Sue's loyalties are. if it DOES get back to Kim/Erik, then I want Vytas out while he has the idol. I have Erik and Garrett and I'm pretty sure I have Stephen and by extension Yve too, but Rory is the wildcard and with 3 idols potentially floating around I am FREAKING THE FUCK OUT SO THIS POST MAKES NO SENSE AHHHHH updates l8r

the general perception seems to be that it's Yve/Stephen/Monica vs the world (well, the other 7 attendees at this tribal council). they, however, are not aware of this, and Monica & Yve believe that most people intend to vote with them against Garrett. I'm not sure which of these things is ~actually true~, because Kim is shady as hell and seems to have a lot of sway over people, but it doesn't matter because I think my idea is pretty solid either way.

If Kim is telling the truth and she intends to vote Monica, that's great. I've suggested to her that because Monica probably has the idol, we should split between Monica and Stephen, and she seemed receptive to the idea. Vytas & Sue also think this is a better option than unanimously voting for Monica. it's therefore likely that I can get those three on board to split the votes, which would theoretically make it 4 - 3 - 3 (Monica/Stephen/Garrett) with Stephen going on the revote if Monica idols... if I wasn't lying through my teeth, that is.

my intention here is to use the two people I trust implicitly (Erik & Garrett) and the one person in this game I think I can control (Stephen) to push 4 votes onto Kim and blindside her while we have the chance. This way the vote will likely be something like 4 - 2 - 2 - 2 (Kim/Stephen/Monica/Garrett), or perhaps some other combination, but we will always have majority if Monica really is the intended target. even if they don't want to split (which seems unlikely), I think I can convince people to get rid of Kim on a revote (or pull someone in to vote with us just before TC - probably Yve).

If Kim is lying and she intends to rally oldMarehemu against Garrett (or myself), I honestly believe that Sue & Vytas will not vote with them. I also don't think this scenario is all that likely in general, because a) Kim has no reason to suspect that Erik & I are close and she gains nothing from bullshitting him about the vote target, and b) she would alienate Vytas and Sue by doing this, and I'm assuming she knows Vytas has the idol. in a situation like this, the vote would most likely go as follows..
Kim/Yve/Rory/Monica: Garrett/me
Vytas/Sue: Monica
Me/Stephen/Erik/Garrett: Kim
..and I'm fairly sure Vytas & Sue wouldn't boot Garrett in a revote.

this whole thing could get blown to pieces pretty easily. if Kim catches on that we're after her, I'm screwed, but I trust the people I've chosen to work with here. I know that Kim feels super safe in her current position and I can only hope Stephen won't do something stupid/Garrett won't say the wrong thing to someone/Erik is actually being real with me. if there's some crazy plan that would stop me from having the majority in this vote (apart from Vytas & Sue actually voting against Garrett or me), I haven't thought of it. I have open lines of communication with pretty much everyone involved in this TC. I think I can be sure enough about who is being honest with me and who might be shady to have hope that this will go the way I hope for it to.

I played like a puppy dog in my first game and got screwed by my emotions. not this time. if this doesn't work out, I'll readjust and fire again (providing I don't get booted here, of course). here we go

man I NEED to get past my naive stage. I did that stupid thing with Katie where I was like "omg she really likes me she won't betray me :DDDDD" only to wake up to messages from Erik saying Katie was spreading misinformation to Kim about me having some "master plan" (thank God I didn't give her the details). she also obviously told Austin, because later Erik got hammered with messages from Monica about the same thing (c/o Austin). I'm pretty upset with myself. I need to remember that just because I have excellent rapport with someone and talk to them for hours at a time it doesn't mean they actually intend to stick with me. both of them continued to talk to me as if nothing was amiss and it was SO HARD to hold my tongue when I just wanted to verbally slaughter them. my fault though. I'm an idiot :)

Erik & I had a back and forth for a while about whether risking blindsiding Kim is worth it, especially since Sue is apparently now Monica's target (Monica thinks I have an idol). considering Sue ALSO went to Kim and tried to throw me under the bus, idgaf if she goes. she's irrelevant and desperate to get a foothold somewhere. we could just vote her (Rory intends to, so we'd have a majority of at least 6) but I don't think it's worth it. we might not get another chance like this, so we're going ahead with the Kim plan. if we crash and burn as a result of it, at least we're doing it in style, right?

Question....not sure if we are allowed to ask this, but were you also Sierra in EpicSBB2?

I told her it doesn't matter if she did because it all worked out anyway but she is protesting that she didn't do it. I simply can't see any other way Kim would have found out what I said to Katie and ONLY Katie and it really sucks because I adore Katie and after this I can't ever trust her again. it's one thing to go against me, but it's another to lie about it until you're blue in the face even when the evidence is stacked up against you. what a painful moment in my ORG life :(((

what, after you tried to blame Austin and then Yve for what ~you~ did? I mean, there's a minuscule chance that I'm wrong and Austin really is somehow responsible for all of this, but I don't think he even knew what I had said to Katie at the point where it was passed onto Kim. as for Yve, despite Katie claiming she "might have told her" what I said, I'm pretty sure she knew absolutely nothing about any of it (and Yve has told me as much herself). I mean, she fucking voted for GARRETT. ALONE. Like COME ON. I'm disproportionately upset by this so I don't really want to think about it anymore. It just kinda sucks to think that someone I thought really liked me clearly doesn't believe I deserve honesty in any way, shape or form. ugh.
