1. I would say that I'm more of a hero just because I'm a pretty nice, easygoing person. It really takes a lot to upset me, so getting into conflict with people isn't going to be something I'll have to worry about. That being said, I'm not here to play a heroic game. I wouldn't say I'm here to play a villainous game either. I'm just gonna do what I have to do to win. That takes some heroism, some villainy.

2. I hate it when people say they're not here to make friends. Enemies aren't gonna vote for you to win. So I'm definitely here to make friends and I think my social game is going to be my strongest area. I've already started talking to a few other castaways and I've been playing up the fact that I'm completely new to this, and making myself seem really nice but kinda naive. I wanna be the person that's never really on people's radar. I'm making myself seem really easy-going so I think people will be more willing to trust me with information.

3. To some extent, I wanted to pick someone that didn't have much of a reputation for anything, so people don't have pre-conceived notions of who I am. Like, the guy who picked Jonny Fairplay is an idiot because people are subconsciously never going to trust him. But that choice tells me that he's an idiot and someone I should probably align with. Fairplay is remembered for telling the greatest lie in the history of Survivor. I'm remembered for being a virgin. You do the math. (The irony of this being my first ORG is not lost on me.) But at the end of the day, my decision essentially boils down to the fact that I wanted someone who's nice to look at.

5. So I did some research last night. I learned that Rory is fucking crazy. I learned that Kim is a hardcore social player. And I learned that Rob is kinda a bit of everything, a good player overall. Their presence will definitely affect my game. This season is gonna be like the Philippines where a lot of people wanted the returning players gone. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. Rory is the one I'm most uncertain about because he clearly plays a great game behind his facade of this crazy character. Kim is the one I trust the least. Rob I've already made a connection with because we're both from Boston, so he's someone I could definitely see myself working with. We'll see though.
