I was unsure whether to consider that as the results werein and being posted by then but ya I guess so. In turn that makes Kelley sympathetic and I gave her a p\

I wasn't sure for Kelley. I can see the sympathy P, BUT she did get ragged on a lot for doing nothing/being invisible. Most of that came from Monica, who I agree was CPN in this episode, but as obnoxious as Monica came across, she was accurate in her assessment about Kelley's presence in the game... IDK, I could see MORP or MOR (not sure there was enough tone to warrant an M.)

A N player's negative comments about someone else is generally disregarded. RULE OF THUMB when someone is kicked while they are down unnecessarily we tend to side with the victim ~ Kelley

This was my take on things so far, kinda using a different method than you my Syd so not trying to tread on your analysis (which is great!)
Some thoughts:
|
Poor Kim. I didn't like giving her those N's but she fudged a few things and that really hurt her this time. The stuff with Erik (suggesting he help her get the Idol, suggesting that he help her eliminate his connections while simultaneously keeping Kim's connections in,) her using Vytas, her targeting an at the time a very naive and loyal to her Monica, etc... the list goes on. I just couldn't see the M, as bad as I felt for her getting the boot.
There were an uncharacteristic amount of no tone OTT's. I chalk that up to this very... "eclectic" and "colorful" cast lol. They've been amazing.
Katie and Kelley sort of disappeared into the background. I contemplated giving Kelley a CP episode twice, but when I do this I try to go by the rough parameters of an edgic chart that you would see for the CBS show. How would this be presented to an audience? As a result I rarely give out more than four CP edits in an episode (it's typically all they have time to craft for the "story") and Kelley's overall impact on the season was pretty minimal. With Katie, she was easily the quietest of the original Marehemu , and just as she began to emerge a bit more she was blindsided.
I didn't find Stephen to be as N as I expected maybe? He was actually a pretty good sport about most things. The only real times that I justified giving him N ratings were when he was acting like a flopping fish(bach) in Ep 2 and when he pulled off staying in Ep 3.
Erik's gameplay was definitely ruthless but I never found him to be an N personality either. All in all he was pretty amicable as he slit those throats.
Not knowing who wins, I have to admit that Austin and Yve looking the best on paper is purely coincidence and taken only from the content that they provided and from PW response to them both. I took no liberties trying to make their edits edgically viable; they just are. I wonder if there's something to be said about a winning personality type in these games. Both have been pretty grounded for the entire ride in stark contrast to the lovable trainwrecks that have surrounded them!
Monica and Sierra's edits are my favorites hands down. Brett said (and I agree) that OTTM sums up Monica perfectly. Sierra's arc has been all over the place too. Although it doesn't quite show on the chart, Sierra has perhaps gone through the gamet more than anyone else in this cast, Monica included (and I think Monica makes it a point to be somewhat theatrical about it all, whereas with Sierra, it's almost definitely 100% real and raw.) At varying points throughout the season she has been: angry, strategic, cutthroat, emotional, a hypocrite, an underdog, mean, empathetic, practical, clueless and oddly vulnerable. Both of those ladies have been character gold.

Sierra-MORP (I think she was pretty MOR overall in this episode. She was understandably upset when she found out that she was getting the boot, but I didn't really feel like we got a lot of CP content from her. She was borderline OTT at times but given her situation I think she behaved like most normal people would. I could have justified an M for her as well for her hissy fit and her threats to quit jury but I do think she was more sympathetic than not.)
Austin-CPN (He's getting a LOT of flack from people lately and I don't think that his win is a foregone conclusion at all. He could easily lose against Monica or Yve. I think that it's funny that he is coming across as fake when from my perspective, Yve seems to be the one most blatantly kissing the jury's butt.)
Garrett-MOR (He's been relegated to background status for the past few rounds. I'm glad to see him actively pursuing endgame plans.)
Monica-CPP (She could win this and that seems CRAZY but amazing. She handled this round pretty well and gave a lot of good insight on her plans for the homestretch.)
Yve-MORM (She's playing (almost shamelessly lol) for jury votes but it hasn't gone unnoticed by her allies. I think that if she gets to the end she has a good shot at winning this thing but I don't think that Austin or Monica will let her get there. She seems to be respected by the people leaving each round, but she gets just as much negative commentary from the people remaining.) |

Eh, I wouldn't have bothered with the fourth contender position at the F5. Down to 3 or even 2 contenders is acceptable at that point on an edgic chart.

that depends on how many people have someone as their #1 contender. in samoa there were people with russell, mick, natalie, and jaison all as their top pick so they all got a position IIRC
in orgs its very hard to tell who will win so its better to have 4 people going into a finale :) also looks better
