Okay: First let me talk about what happened with the masks last round; then I'll get to the annoying tribe swap stuff.
So first things first, I find a mask (yay!) and I find a mask for the blue tribe as well. I pass it over to Austin because, hey, it could work out in my favor. I found another mask for the pink tribe, but Sue wasn't online to claim it and complete her idol, so that just kind of fell by the wayside. Still, I was able to build a little trust with both of them, so that's neat.
Then the swap happens, and it's three old Rob's Army + Austin + Katie. Should be an easy majority right? HOWEVER, Kelley is one of those three, and by all accounts, Kelley is dead, missing, or being held hostage somewhere. If we go to tribal, tentatively, she's the one I would want to vote out. I don't know if Rob would be alright with that, but if he's not ... well we don't need his vote to do that anyway. I should be safe for a while, unless they decide to turn on the "challenge beast" a bit too early. Hopefully that doesn't happen though. Maybe I should throw some just in case ...
Nah screw throwing. Caryn Groedel as the threatening challenge beast is too amazing. Will it come back to bite me in the ass? Almost certainly, but at least I'll probably make merge, and I'll get to bitch at everyone from the jury. And really, isn't complaining like a shrew what every Caryn should strive for?
BUT let's not act defeatist. I talked to everyone on my tribe. Kim and I have an agreement to help each other with the mask hunt if we're able to. Monica and I have an agreement to be hag BFFs forever. Austin is already in my camp because I helped him with the masks earlier. Rory and I have our little weird partnership. I have my fingers in a lot of pots right now, and if half of those pots make the merge, I think I could cobble together something resembling a strategy. Monica told me she's leaning towards siding with Kim and Erik from her swing vote position on NuMarahemu or whatever that tribe is called. Vytas would be the first boot from there, which buys Sue a little bit of time to finish her idol (hopefully), and then we can go from there.
I have way too many plates spinning right now, and I didn't even mean for it to be this way. I'm just trying to do everything in my power to keep them all in the air, but sooner or later they're gonna start crashing down around me, and I'm not looking forward to that.
There's so many rumors flying around regarding this Tribal Council. Sue got her fifth mask, but the Sangoma idol has already been found. She tells me Vytas has it.
Rumor has it Monica has the Marehemu idol. If that's true, she owes me for getting her her fifth mask.
