I wish I had more time to give to reading each confessional rather than relying on reading the viewer lounge because this legitimately is insane.

If Kim leaves because of this (the way it's described in here), then I'd be alright with it.

Imagine Robin killing batman. Robin = Erik Batman = Kim. I wonder if this power move is a good idea for Erik long term because he'll have a bigger target on him but also a greater grasp on power.

Kim wanted me to check her bootlist and make sure it was right. I don't really know what she thought could possibly be wrong with it unless it was in the wrong order. She seems to be quite out of it

I think he should've waited, used Kim as a shield, but losing that shield makes the game going forward more interesting.

I'm really curious how Erik will be perceived after this. I don't blame him for not wanting to be stuck as Kim's lackey. It sounds like she's had him too pegged as a newbie and thus prone to being loyal and clingy and strategically helpless, and overestimated how much she could get away with asserting power in the relationship. Erik is smart and while he's willing to play up how naïve he is, he wants just as much to have control.

I also do think that this was a good time to get rid of Kim. There were a lot of desperate people and chaos this round, making it the perfect time to go for a riskier move. If Kim got too deep I think her influence would have gotten too great, especially since Erik's allies either overlap with Kim's or are her targets.

But this definitely goes against the perception of Erik as the precious adorable baby animal that's been going around. I wonder if he'll try to play dumb or own it if this works

I think it's moreso Erik trying to distance himself from Kim. It's widely perceived that this is Sierra's move, yeah? If Erik feels like he can trust Sierra more than Kim, he has himself a new shield, however now he can't play the naive card. I think he'll be fine after this.
