Tribal Council #3 - Marehemu
Behind each of you is a torch, grab a torch and dip it into the fire. Fire represents life in this game. Once your fire is out, so are you. Let's get to some questions! Answer the questions in this thread please.
Questions:
Austin: With masks in plan, how much Hidden Immunity Idol paranoia is floating around camp? Do you expect to see one played tonight?
Fairplay: What's your impression on the other two tribes? How about the three returnees? Will they effect your game at all?
Katie: With just six people here, there isn't much room to hide. How nervous are you for this first Tribal Council?
Monica: What's your basis for this vote?
Stephen: You were the last person chosen for this tribe during the pick'em. Does that make you nervous, or is it not much of a factor?
Yve: You were the Captain of this tribe and the one who formed it. How do you think you did? Happy with the tribe you've assembled here, even after the loss?
Be sure to vote in the Voting History thread provided to you in your confessionals. You have 24 hours to do so. Any vote after 24 hours will not count, and if all the votes are in, we reserve the right to post results early. Be sure to leave a bootlist to prevent self voting. Also make sure you answer these questions and have some confessionals for this round!

It is scary of course. But Yve was put on the spot and had to make very rushed choices. I hope that's the case at least

Hey Lex! Hi Brett!
*looks up to the sky, kisses two fingers and shoots them up* What up Brad! Rex! Honor! Judge! I know you're watching and am supportive of Monica being Monica and doing this for Monica and Monica Monica Monica.
Anyway, back to your question.
My basis for this vote is pretty simple, I think. The game is still so early so there is no real complex strategy at play for my vote. I am basing it off my general chemistry with my fellow tribemates. We all gel very well (I call us the kumbaya tribe behind our back!) but some of us gel more than others? Gellin like Magellan.

I mean, if I said I wasn't nervous I'd be lying. Like you said, with 6 people there isn't a lot of room to hide. It's also a little stressful, just because this is the first time we've been to Tribal. Given that we won the first 2 challenges, we haven't had a lot of strategy talk, so I think everyone's probably pretty nervous about how the votes will shake down.

I haven't heard anyone being worried about idols per se (it's still early), but I definitely think that the masks are in the back of everyone's mind. I mean, it's possible that someone has enough to make and idol but I'm not betting on it. I think after tonight, when someone has to give away theirs to one of us it becomes more of a concern for all of us.

I was initially overwhelmed when I selected this tribe because I had no clue what I was doing. Ultimately I am thrilled with the people that wound up here, so in that regard, I feel like I did well. I think the loss had more to do with peoples schedules than a lack of skill or ability. It just means we're a tribe of people with active lives outside of the game.

Y'mra S'bor S'Bor is obviously the Tandang of the season, having not one but THREE returnees probably helps them in stuff like challenges, but considering they haven't gone to TC yet I'd imagine they'd possibly have some untapped tension waiting to explode. Sangoma is the Luzon, and are mostly just not good at winning challenges, so I think they'll be eradicated pretty quickly. As for returnees, I've made an attempt to at least get on their good side so that come time for a swap or something they won't be like "I don't like this guy, let's get rid of him." But i think when that time comes Marehemu will be in a pretty good position.
