Courtesy of The Crusher
This campsite is the Trump Towers of campsites. Designed by intelligent castaways to ensure safety, comfort, merriment, and most important ... survival.
Let us start with the border itself. Eight strong boulders surround the site. These mountainous rocks were hand-selected by the Y'mra S'bor survivors and individually tied with rope and transported via the Crushjeep to protect the campsite.
Rope and fishing wire also surround the expanse of the site, tied around each boulder, forming a full circle around the entire area. The physical entrance to the site is made up of a strong broken-down crate, sandbags, rope and fishing wire. The castaways can easily come and go as they please, but animals with dull minds (and Boston Rob) find it impossible to find their way inside.
Within the camp lay a wondrous fire, which is tended to by Caryn. A secret pyromaniac, Caryn is one with the flames. Day and night, the fire is tended to. At night everyone gathers around to tell stories. The Crusher always takes things too far though, usually threatening to cut off another limb when no one laughs at his merry tales.
Two buckets were carefully placed within the campsite to collect rain water. One bucket sits next to the safety of the hut for easy access. The second is hung in a tree, cuz it looks cool up there.
A ninth boulder, flat, was brought in to the center of the campsite to serve as a table for the survivors. It's where the pots and pans are kept, which also collect rain water, as well as 4 banana bunches which will surely be eaten quickly.
Within the hut, makeshift bedding was created out of leaves and shrubbery. The survivors also keep leftover rope and fishing wire within, as well as the very important matches.
Erik is the shovel specialist, learning much of his talents from gravedigger James of Survivor China. Erik and the shovel go everywhere together, they even sleep together. Erik created an intricate system of outhouses outside of the shelter area. Kim has been very constipated and has not gotten to use them yet. She is really missed out. Erik is currently plotting out a master design for a trench, something the survivors have been discussing for a while. This will make the campsite even more protected.
Kim is the eyes of the camp. Very very sneaky, she pops up behind rocks and surveys the surrounding area, looking for wildlife or enemy threats, anything that might need our attention. She is also the camp doctor, tending to all the survivor's cuts and bruises and future dismembered body parts. We're pretty certain she has a crush on Crusher, always asking him if he needs to be tended to. His response is always NAW NAW NAW!!
Boston Rob and Kelley are the hunters. Experts with the spears, these titles came naturally to them. Daily, Rob and Kelley leave the camp grounds to hunt wildlife. Kelley is typically successful, and has provided tons of food for the survivors. Girl can cook too!! Rob came back with a skull once... he named is Stonephia... and they tied it to the front of the Crushjeep.
Speaking of the Crushjeep, as you can imagine, that is Rory's car. The Crusher's role is hard to identify, but despite having one arm and one hook and a peg leg, he is the ideal driver for the group; driving them to challenges, doing drive-bys with the hunters to kill wildlife, and generally exploring the Serengeti. Crusher's terminator eye gives him night vision, making him even an expert driver at night time. His hook recently got caught in the radio, destroying it, not that signals could be picked up out in the Serengeti anyway.
As you can tell - life is GREAT at camp Y'mra S'bor S'Bor!! And they lived happily ever after... or at least until their first Tribal Council Smile
