I've been waiting for this Jury conversation about Caryn and how good or bad of a game she's playing

Where do you guys fall on it? Is challenge whoring to the end a great strategy, or is she weakened by the fact that she'd almost certainly be voted out whenever she lost?

I can see both sides but I'm usually pro challenge strength during this argument. People like to downplay challenge strength if you win too much but I do think everyone should play to their own strengths, like Sue said. That being said, I do agree with Erik's point and I'd like to see what she would do if she was ever vulnerable to be voted off. She is a a bit cocky, and probably rightly so...but could she have gotten to this point without being such a challenge whore? Maybe her attitude is because she knows she's so good at challenges. But, will she really win them all? I'm guessing she's going to lose at least one (F5 if it's the usual?) and that she's gone when she does.

I like a mixture of challenge prowess, strategic ability and social strength and Caryn could not do one thing about Austin/Yve voting Sue out last round. She even said she knew it would be their best move yet she had to hope they weren't lying to her. Winning challenges is great but I'd rather see that someone had control of the game - or at least controlled it enough to make the moves they needed and get to the end. If Caryn was against Austin in the F2 (which would never happen imo), I would give it to Austin hands down. At least at this point in the game.

I agree with Shawna. I think the fact that she wouldn't have gone home some of these rounds had she not been immune is hurting her because the jury doesn't get to see the proof of that. Losing the auction immunity or not playing her idol at the merge would have bolstered her jury game in my opinion, but I understand her justification too... why risk it?

When it comes to immunity runs I think a person is deserving if they are well aware what is going on. Like if they know they'd be going home if they lost vs being aloof to the social politics going on.

The only challenge that Caryn's done poorly at was Majority Rules which is somewhat telling. And I mean getting the questions right, not the chopping part

100% think she should win if she makes it to the end through challenges, especially if she wins every one. That's never been done before and would be amazing. That shows how much they cared and the amount of effort they put into the game.

Lol Rory is being ridiculous to Sue. She owed him nothing. In an individual game, no one owes anyone anything. Keeping her around was a mutually beneficial arrangement... it's called an alliance LMAO, it's not like he sacrificed anything for her. His motives were self serving then, and hers were self serving when she didn't quit for him. Good for Sue.

It's typical to see a jury be bitter about someone challenge whoring to the end. It's happened to me before. I hate it because at the end of the day, challenges are part of the game. If that's Caryn's strong point then why not exploit it? If you're good at the social game then obviously you're going to use that to your advantage. It seems like people are just bitter most of the time because others are just too good in challenges. All I have to say to them is GIT GUD.

I mean it's all about how you sell yourself at the end. If she can sell the jury that she knows what was going on and was self aware that's all that matters. FTC is just like politics. It's all about not alienating people and trying to find the way to get the most votes by telling people what they want to hear. What I think is going to hurt Caryn is I don't know how well she's going to present herself without coming off as cocky. I think she's going to have a hard time sucking kneecaps.

I agree. Ridiculous is the right term. In what world did Sue owe him anything, let alone sacrificing her game for his?

Well, i think the majority of the people in these games are not challenge whores and the fact that Caryn has been kicking SO much ass this season makes everyone else resent her to some degree.

Obviously it would be incredibly difficult for her to run the table and win out the rest of the way, IF she should somehow pull that off, how can anyone really justify voting against her?

What exactly would their argument be? "You wouldnt be standing at the end if you weren't so overwhelmingly dominant?"

I guess i just don't understand how that can be a negative thing. But thats just my opinion.

I was in a game once where there was a challenge god on one end, but on the other end was the person that got the credit for and really did execute most of the strategic moves (they won). If Caryn can show that she executed some moves or even had a strong hand in most moves in the game, I think she wins easily.

Oh man, Caryn went to Monica about targeting Austin this round. Monica apparently talked her out of it though. Now Caryn wants to go for Yve instead if Yve waits one more round to use her necklace
