Since there's not a whole lot for me to write about I'm just giving you guys another video confessional on how I feel about my tribe so far. Enjoy!

Marisa's 2nd Video Confessional

And I'm still here. I feel like this first round was in some way a reality check for me. Anything can happen in a game like a Survivor. I feel like I was definitely over confident thinking I'd be safe from the Sausage Link twist. And my worst nightmare came true, I was nominated. Although I survived and super grateful for it, shows how sometimes we can feel a little bit too safe.

I'm not going to lie. I was a bit nervous about the vote. Unfortunately, I had been working way much these past few days so I had very little time to get online. And when I did literally not a single person would be online. I only spoke to 2 people throughout Tribal Council. They both confirmed it would be Russell. So I guess I felt at a little bit at peace thinking for sure it would be him.

Now that I've survived I need to work on the social game and step it up. I have to initiate conversations and become pro-active with game talk. At this point I'm sure alliances are forming and I need to get cracking before I end up on the outs or as an easy target.

Good thing is that Kelly and Becky both approached me separately. I figured they were hinting on making an alliance so I jumped on it. It's good to have some people that actually have your back. I feel like they are both genuine people that I can trust. The good thing is that I feel like Becky is a person that would be easy to drag along. I can't see her trying to actually formulate her own ideas or plans. And Kelly and I both see this in her.

Kelly and I discussed a lot of tribe dynamics tonight. It's refreshing to talk to someone who has a similar thought process as me. We pretty much think that there's a possible guys alliance of Jean, Ken & Bill. And to top it off, I think Ken kind of hinted at something like that?

I'm not sure if I'm over analyzing this. But it seems like they do have something going on. Or if he's going in a different direction like possibly would rather work with other people. Or wants to include me in the alliance. He went to bed so we agreed to continue this conversation tomorrow. I'm glad that he's opened up to me and that we're able to have game talk. Like I've stated before, I enjoy chatting with him so I'm looking forward to forming something official. Although I already did the pitch to him about it which brought us to those IMs I've just posted. I made sure to inform Kelly of everything I was being told. I don't necessarily see it as trying to be gossip but more of earning Kelly's trust. Kelly will probably be one of the stronger social players with a lot of influence on the tribe. I'd rather have her be super close with me than other people. It's good to have people like her on your side.

At this point I'm going to focus on working my charm on people. I'm kind of struggling a bit communicating and getting conversations to actually fluctuate because I've gotten used to ORGs were I use only Private Messages. So basically I type essays buttering up people and fluffing those messages with non-sense that makes people think I'm this awesome person they want to work with. But I'm sure I'll come around and actually get back into it.

Hopefully I'll be doing another video confessional soon. I'm actually enjoying those. Until then, peace.
