So, I've had some sort of conversation with everybody that's made themselves seen on AIM so far, and that's a legit feat for me, I almost always have that one person (or people) that I don't end up talking to for the whole game, and that should hopefully change by the Captain's Challenge tomorrow. I don't get why the five or six that haven't been on checked in, but didn't get on AIM, but whatever, their loss. I've had much better convos with the guys than with the girls so far, all my guy conversations have stretched out for a decent time, every single one with the girls ended up fizzling out in some way.

1st Impressions:

Eddie- Definitely the person I've connected with the most so far, knows the games, funny, and seems to be the most social person out of everybody that I've talked to. Would be happy to have him on my tribe, not that I'm gonna win the Captain's Challenge, but hopefully we end up together.

Ken- I legit had no idea who this was when the memory wall popped up. Thailand, early boot, 5th season of the show, just all negatives haha. Surprisingly have hit it off talking about favorite seasons and players. Also seems to know Big Brother, so we should hopefully have a lot to talk about, those are my two best talking points.I expect him to be a really strong player, Eddie knows his stuff, but seems more fun-loving, Ken is def more business.

JR- We bonded (I guess) rping over our struggling career paths and he seems to like me. I don't know how strong of a player he'll be, but he could be a valuable and loyal ally off of our first meeting.

Yul- We talked a bit about music and Cagayan. We both share hate of the TP Super Idol, but I don't think there's a legit Survivor fan that liked the thing. Another person that seems ready to do work if he has to, but overall will probably just be chill and laid back.

Hayden- I hate people that write with the special colors and bigger fonts in AIM haha, random pet peeve. But he seems like a nice guy, calm guy unlike the last Hayden I played with. If it's the same guy lol,he got good fast, but he told me he was gonna improve and try another game when our last game ended.

Dan- I guess his shtick is that he's gonna be pairing people up in couples all season. Doubt it'll work, I'm not expecting too much out of him, but I guess he'll make for a fun character. He seemed to enjoy our convo though, so I'm not passing up a free ally if he comes my way.

J'Tia- Best convo I've had with the ladies. She seems really excited to play, and that she knows the series, I'm the same, just trying to do my best to hide it. I think she may find herself overplaying, but I really suck at gauging people out of the gate. This whole blob is probably completely pointless and a waste of time, but f it, it's after midnight.

NaOnka- Seems to be sorta going for the ghetto trash troll, but also seems to be going for the legit player. I hope she chooses one (preferably the ghetto trash troll for the lolz). We bonded a little over our obvious racial connections and I admired her ripped elementary school gym teacher body, other than that, nothing much.

Purp Kelly- Despite leaving her completely hanging in our conversation, she was nice enough to say bye to me when she left, so yay for that.

Becky- She sent me hello, I replied, and then she left. Fuck Becky.

OK, nah, that's harsh, I'll take that back. It's not too bad of a tribe, but it's not my ideal situation.

Kelly is obviously great, we were working together all challenge, wish I would've messaged her about throwing it to me earlier though, could've had her and my 1st choices.

Ken is really good, he seems to enjoy my company, he knows the game, and I think we could combine to do some damage, the same goes for Yul (I keep typing Yau crap).

JR could be a great number, but I think he knows more than he shows.

NaOnka was giving me heads up when I got the sausage, and we've had some good convos, but she's not around too much and may be looking to cause some drama. If she can stay calm, I definitely want her as an ally.


After that, it's five people I really haven't talked too that much. I do like my position in the game right now, but I'm expecting some Ls, the other tribe's got the more active people IMO. Hopefully I'm wrong, but when it's negative, I'm usually right, so I guess I'll see you at Tribal in time!

I'm really lovin' this twist right now, because I feel I'm in a pretty damn good situation on this tribe. Kelly, Ken, Yul, Becky, NaOnka, and JR would all link with me I feel, and Becky/Marisa would likely consider it also. That leaves Russell and Katie, who are never on, and are pretty much assured spots in the bottom 3. I really wish this was round-by-round lol. This puts somebody with good social ties in a great position whenver it pops up, and that's what I feel I've got right now.

I'm not gonna try too hard in this challenge, I'll probably go for the 20s or something. I showed my competitive cards in the 1st challenge, and I know people noticed, so now I'm gonna drop back a little, not too much to where it's obvious to what I'm trying to do, but hopefully as time goes on, people we'll forget about me when it comes to challenges. I think I'll be able to do it without trying too hard, I'm really not good at them haha.

ATM, my alliances are with Kelly and Yul officially, but Becky seems to be strongly suggesting that me/her/Kelly/Ken make a foursome. I'm down for it, Idk how much I can trust Becky, but Kelly and Ken are for sure people I wanna work with. Win or lose, I'm expecting to stay safe this round and hopefully we'll be able to get rid of some dead-weight in the man, the myth, the legend, and the currently useless Russell Hantz.

So Kelly is telling me that Nae Nae thinks I'm non-committal, which really doesn't make sense from the convos we've had. I guess she's mad I haven't offered her anything after she told me I was getting the sausage during the challenge, but that still barely makes sense. I trust Kelly, and even if she's trying to start some rumor spreading, I don't really care. Right now, the foursome that Becky suggested seems to finally be getting formed, I should be safe, crossing my fingers.

Yeah, of course this twist found a way to make me look awkward as shit.

Here's what basically happened in a nutshell:

Last night a made my bootlist without really having an alliance.

Then today, me, Becky, Ken, and Kelly formed the Purple Parrots, and I didn't think to change my bootlist at all.

I lose the challenge, which I was fine with, and my 2nd alliance in Yul gives me the sausage.

Becky is the only PP left, and her and Kelly want me to pick Becky b/c she might be left unsafe because she hadn't really spoken with Na/Betsy. I had already told Yul I was gonna pick Na/Betsy so I was honest and told them that and Becky said it was OK, because she'd spoken with NaOnka a little. But like a dumbfuck, I didn't realize it and chose Betsy because I've spoken with her just a bit more. BUT, I missed my deadline and NaOnka got picked from my bootlist!

So, somehow the twist that was supposed to keep me paranoid, calm, and collected, has now made me paranoid, edgy, and preparing to be targeted at the next non-link vote. FML!!!! If NaOnka thinks I'm noncomittal right now (which I think is true, she just reiterated what Kelly said she said about Russell) she must think I don't care about her at all now. Ugh, I gotta calm down. Nothing I can do about it now, just some light damage control and move on I guess.

Also, WTF @ the other tribe! The seemingly inactive people all stayed safe and my only real connection over there in Eddie is vulnerable. I think he'll be fine, but if he gets booted, I'm gonna have to find a new cross-tribe and fast.
