Ok, so, we've been given free-range in these 24 hours before the "official" start to our first challenge, and I'm casually making an effort to get to know the players that sign in and message with me. Here are my limited first impressions about their personalities after only talking with them for about 15 minutes or so:

I have no idea why I was naturally drawn to being flirty with P.K. She's really fun, though. Kelly is quick witted, but not overly concerned with being funny right out of the gate like I seem to unnaturally be. Unlike on Nicaragua, I think Kelly could be a strong, visible player. I think you gotta have some balls and some Survivor sense of humor to go and pick P.K. as your contestant. I think I like Kelly so far. #Flirtmance

In the first five minutes of talking to Eddie, I thought he was a young moron. Now that I've been talking to him a little bit longer, he's still pretty annoying, but I'm seeing more of the sarcasm in his "character." That's a bit of a relief, because if I had to deal with a #YOLO #SWAG brotard who was actually like that all season I might not have enjoyed myself very much, haha.

Yul, true to character, seems pretty smart (although he loses points for wanting to start a 'meet' company). I would wager that Yul is maybe older than the median age of contestants? If not, I would definitely guess that he's in college. We went on to talk a lot more about Big Brother. It's clear that Yul likes the strategic side of reality tv shows, and that makes him likely a good game player. Yul seemed a lot less like a "character" compared to some of the other people I've talked to so far. I think I would enjoy having Yul on my tribe, but I don't know if I would want to bring this dude to the Final 4.

Edit: I forgot to mention this the first time around. I told my first lie of the game in this convo, lol. I didn't pick Yul as my first choice, Tasha was my first choice. Why did I tell Yul this, aside from being a compulsive liar? Well, I think it's really good to be able to relate to people. I DO like Yul, and so if he thinks we're more similar because we picked the same character, great. I dunno, it just seemed like a natural thing to say.

Making a good first impression is definitely a big deal. Am I being a petty bitch by judging all these people so quickly? No, because I know that it's just a small snapshot of a person and with the nature of AIM sometimes it's just not the right place/time. That being said, Marisa is a bore. Watch me eat my words later on as she becomes, like, my F2 ally or something, but I just don't see a whole lot goin on there. I'm going to keep trying... just in case she ends up being popular.

Dan was pretty amusing to talk to today. I can't say that I'm feeling a vibe strongly one way or another, but I certainly wouldn't hate Mr. Lembo being on my tribe.

Nothing really copy/paste worthy from JR in our first convo together. I only caught him for a little bit before I headed to bed last night. He was sorta amusing, throwing out a couple of poker references, but overall I don't know that I found him super-relatable. Since this is a thread only about first impressions, I have to remark that his wasn't overly strong, however I will chalk it up to the late hour and give him another chance later.

Either this person is just an Abi lover for some reason or they're someone who's known for being a bit bitchy amongst their friends but the energy isn't translating because they aren't themselves and are an alias. I dunno.
