Sup.

I'm gonna be straight-up with you guys, my vote is pretty much up in the air right now.

Jonathan, Charlie, you were two of my closest allies and best friends throughout the game. Yul, I always enjoyed speaking with you and wanted to work with you and I wished we'd connected long before we actually did. I look forward to talking to all three of you outside of the game. But, as much as I like you guys, when I look over all of our pictures? You don't seem like the three that should have made it to the finals. This is where I give you the chance to prove me wrong and sell your game the same damn way CBS sells us a winner twice a year.

I believe that one of the most important qualities someone can exhibit in a game is a good sense of awareness - something that I saw come up in more than one opening statement. So, let's test that. For my jury question, I'd like you three to write a synopsis of the season as if it were the actual show. I'm talking who are the main "characters"? What are some of the notable storylines? Who gets presented as a hero? As a villain? Lastly, and most importantly, how does the edit of the show support you as a winner? As far as length and format, this is open. I'm looking for quality over quantity. Keep in mind how the show itself presents the story of the full season.

Let me know if you need clarification. I wanted to leave it open but somewhat manageable. If you feel like you're being overly detailed, you probably are; I'm looking for something that gives a good sense of how aware you were about what was happening in the game with different people with justification for you winning as you go.

For the write up should I focus on just the jury portion of the game or the game as a whole?

Hiya, Eddie!

I am going to do this like the announcer at the beginning of every Avatar: The Legend of Korra episode. Mostly to make this fun for me. You know I'm all about the fun.

*queue exciting opening music*

In the game of Survivor Sausage Island VIII, set in Morocco, there was a boy, nay, a fruit loving man. This man's name was Charlie Herschel and he was always running late. But Charlie would finally arrive, guided by a sketchy older man who called himself Yoosef. Little did he know he was about to have the adventure of a lifetime.

His first challenge would be to become Captain of the Dadès tribe, which he gave a color too and named himself, like a boss. He did this by working together with a few individuals, but none more so than his Co-Captain Kelly "The Purps" Shinn. He put together a hawt little group of individuals and one Crystal "The Corpse" Cox. By the end of the round, Lil' Blondie Angie and Fedora Wearing Russell were sent packing from the island. Angie was thought to be making alliances left and right and no one particularly liked that kind of strategy, while Russell had his share of communication problems, finding it hard to wake anyone up at five in the morning when his troll instincts were in full function.

The next day, the tribe worried heavily about Crystal "The Corpse" Cox, but it wouldn't matter that she didn't compete in the first half of what was a nail-biter immunity challenge, because the other six castaways would pull their weight enough, even though Sebou put so much weight on Charlie, Dan and Eddie. The three chose to hoist their weight and put together a puzzle in the second half. Charlie, being small and skinny, would finish last, but it didn't stop his good pal Eddie from keeping his head and getting them a challenge win, and incidentally a few more steps around camp for Captain Charlie, which would lead to him finding a hidden immunity idol that round.

While Dadès was celebrating their victory, a rivalry between two of the fiercest bitches Charlie had ever come across started to erupt. Abi-Maria and J'Tia were at each others throats from dawn until dusk, which was incidentally how long their immunity challenge would last and the body of Crystal "The Corpse" Cox to be found. It was quickly disposed of when Dadès was unable to tell a convincing enough story to win them the challenge and were sent to tribal council.

Charlie could never have expected what happened next. The evil duo of Brett and Lex set up a plot to reign terror on the two tribes with a Sausage Link that would change the course of the game. Three players from each tribe would be taken to a separate camp and there they would stay, but Charlie was not to be one of them. His newly formed and air-tight alliance with Eddie, Hayden, Jonathan and J'Tia held strong after Dan the Man won himself the start of a sausage link that could have turned deadly for one of the five. Charlie took it upon himself to keep the five together when Brett and Lex, the villains, in an attempt to thwart the alliance, held an individual immunity challenge shortly after, and announced that all three tribes would be going to tribal council! GASP! Charlie was successful in his conquest for immunity and the once proud and noble Dan the Man was ousted.

Unfortunately, Brett and Lex's plans weren't over yet, but they would have to wait to have a taste of a Cool Kid's blood until the merge because the Dadès and Sebou tribes could not be beaten by the Demdirkom (yeah I dunno) tribe where only Betsy and Jean-Robert remained, formerly of Sebou . Before that though, Charlie saw his first glimpse of Marisa aka The Wicked Witch. Though he didn't know it then, he would soon find she was not as nice as he had originally thought.

A war broke out between the Dadès and the Sebou 's once the merge hit. Charlie did all he could to get a name out of the traitors, but they're lips were zipped, and he would have to go in blind. The endurance immunity challenge quickly wiped out the remaining members of Dadès , with Charlie as the last standing, but not for long. Worry, panic, and desperation sunk in and Charlie knew he would have to play his hidden immunity idol if he wanted to give Dadès a chance at merge happiness. Thinking he would be prime enemy number one with his previous challenge record, he chose to save himself, and he was wrong.

Things looked grim, but Betsy and Jean-Robert, having been outcasts of their former tribe, Sebou , found it in their hearts to take down Marisa aka the Wicked Witch of the Sebou tribe with the remaining Dadès , and Charlie was grateful and vengeful at the same time. Brett and Lex, possibly feeling sorry for their evil deeds in the prior round, came around with a happy surprise Charlie would not have expected from the dastardly duo. They granted another Sausage Link, and the fire in Charlie's eyes was never brighter as he and fellow Dadès member Jonathan took the wins and began a double sided Sausage that would make Charlie's dreams come true. As they say, Ding Dong.

Brett and Lex decided to put on an auction for the remaining castaways, and flaunted five hundred dollars in front of them. Charlie loved money, so his idea of a good time was to spread it far and wide and try his luck with as many items as possible. He only managed to win one item from this auction... the chance to create his very own hidden immunity idol clue out of scraps from around camp, and plant it anywhere he wished. Charlie set to work on his clue and thought of an idea from a conversation he'd had with the Bohemian Kendra Bigstaff about poetry and came up with:

Posted Image

He decided to plant it around the area a cluster of castaways would be sure to search that round after the auction was complete, and laughed quietly to himself... until he found out that two of the people he liked most were going to go after each other at the next tribal council, Eddie and his co-captain, Kelly "The Purps" Shinn. Although Charlie was unaware of how unpopular Eddie had become, enough for J'Tia and Jonathan, the Double J's, to flip; Charlie always stood by the motto "bros before hoes" and voted for his co-captain with his best buddy, to no avail.

Charlie was livid. The next day he went on a rampage of whining and cursing and aimed his venom at the Bohemian Kendra Bigstaff. He lashed out at Betsy, was shot down briefly by Yul "The Asian" Kwon, stomped away into the shelter and brooded away until a whisper of his ally J'Tia's name surfaced around him. J'Tia, being of quick wit and even quicker sense of smell when it came to snuffing out a rat, put the pressure on Charlie and he let her know she was being targeted. J'Tia was not going to have ANY of that shit, and she went on a much more effective rampage than Charlie had previously, as he brooded away under the roof of the shelter, thinking of nothing but the worst at the upcoming tribal council.

But J'Tia picked his little bitch ass up like a true Wonder Woman and planted him right in the middle of a five person alliance with the Double J's, his target Kendra "The Bohemian" Bigstaff and Co-Captain Kelly "The Purps" Shinn. Their alliance worked, and Bill the Comedian was sent packing.

Having been furious that her plans were foiled, she extended her name and became the super-villain of the season. Betsy "The Bomb" Bolan took her auction prize and split up the large group, teaming up with her arch-nemesis J'Tia, the Bohemian with Yul "the Asian" Kwon, The Purps with Jonathan of the Double J's and Captain Charlie with Jean-Robert aka The Pokerface. Little did The Bomb know that Charlie and Pokerface would work together well to eliminate The Purps and Jonathan of the Double J's in a Knight to remember. She also underestimated that teaming an Asian with anyone but herself was bound to go wrong when he and the Bohemian took the crowns as Kings of the Chess board. The newly formed alliance Charlie was part of knew that The Pokerface had an immunity necklace as well, so the only unknown was if The Bomb had a secret of her own. Betsy "The Bomb" Bolan wasn't about to go down, even if she was outnumbered, because she had a secret weapon that she aimed directly at J'Tia.

The alliance was in shock. Charlie was in shock. But the four banded together, united under the burning voodoo doll of J'Tia, and were taken by further surprise as Brett and Lex, seemingly furious with the results of the night, sprung the quickest round the remaining castaways had ever seen. It included a puzzle, a maze, and a nail biting win for Charlie's side by the Bohemian Kendra Bigstaff. Betsy "The Bomb" Bolan had been defeated before she was even able to celebrate her victory.

All that was left was for the alliance to put shame to Betsy's allies, Jean-Robert aka the Pokerface didn't stand a chance without immunity or a hidden idol. When all was said and done, the four had but one foe in their way of a seemingly common goal... Yul "The Asian" Kwon. But as is often the conclusion when the hero of the story is finally winning, and it is looking too easy... the time for a shake up was in the air. Charlie was caught between a rock and a hard place when the immunity challenge ended and Kelly "The Purps" Shinn won immunity. She and the Bohemian made like they wanted to have Charlie in the final four with them, and Charlie wanted the same, but behind his back, the former allies were plotting his demise. Charlie had expected this when he and Kendra Bigstaff had talked about targeting each other before they had allied. Charlie thought the four could hold out until they reached their goal, but Yul "The Asian" Kwon brought Charlie bad news and Charlie went to Jonathan of the Double J's and the three men worked surprisingly well together to bring down the Bohemian once and for all.

At the final four immunity challenge, Charlie found himself outmatched in speed, smarts and stamina when it came down too who would beat Yul "The Asian" Kwon. But he wasn't the only one. The time had finally come for Captain Charlie and Co-Captain Kelly "The Purps" Shinn to have their showdown. But of course, when the dust cleared, it was the Hero of Sausage Island, Captain Charlie, who remained standing in the midst of the battlefield.

Which brings us to the near end, will Captain Charlie have his happy ending? Or will he be defeated by Jonathan of the Double J's or Yul "The Asian" Kwon... or both?

Stay tuned!

Thanks, Eddie! This was a lot of fun!

I love this question. It was really cool looking back at the game and seeing how the story would be told from a camera/editing standpoint. I didn't really write a story, but I wrote more about how each player would be portrayed and what kind of character they would be viewed as. Hope this is what you wanted, I put a lot of thought into this.

I believe the storyline can support my narrative as a winner through this game. I feel that I'm here through the way I played the game, I believe being a winner is not just about making big moves. I valued positioning in this game before anything. Making it to the end while maintaining good relationships with other players was my goal. I wanted to minimize myself as a threat while making sure the other threats left before me. One of the key components of survivor is Outlast, which I feel I did. As all my other allies were eliminated, I had to try to survive and eventually found a path to the end. That can support the underdog narrative. I also won 3 immunity challenges which further helps prove that I had a strong physical game and can add to the winner’s narrative. I feel like I demonstrated elements of having a strong social, physical, and strategical game. Nobody else had to play my game for me.

As for the game I feel that the best way to describe the season is by looking at some of the players and seeing how they would be viewed as through the editing.

Russell – The first boot, and rightfully so. This guy definitely played like Russell Hantz, he didn’t know how to talk to people and definitely put off a few people early on. He didn’t have much of a social game at all and made a random group chat last minute to try to lobby votes. He would definitely get the edit as someone that overplayed from the beginning. Maybe similar to David from Cagayan.

Angie – Although I didn’t really get to interact with her much I heard about some of her antics. She really reminds me of Zane from Philippines. He didn’t really know how Survivor was played and thought that making deals with as many people as possible was part of the game.

Katie – She was a pretty sweet girl, but somebody I could easily see getting lost in the edit.

Crystal – Since she seemed to go inactive pretty early I feel like she could easily be considered med-evacd even though she was technically voted out.

Debbie – She’s another sweet girl I had a few conversations with. I have a feeling she is very similar to Katie and seems like another person that could get lost in the edit.

Dan – Ah, Dan. I feel like he’d be the older guy in the group that was just looking for a good spot in the game. He found that the young kids accepted him into their group so he decided to work with them going forward. When push came to shove though, he was the one that was on the outs and the other young kids stuck together.

Naonka/Abi – I feel like both these people can be grouped together in the same category. They were definitely some pretty big characters. Although I never had the pleasure of being on the same tribe is Abi, I heard she was pretty crazy. After her tribe didn’t want to put up with her shenanigans she wanted to flip the script on them and get them out. It seemed like nobody trusted her shennaigans, which led to her boot. Naonka seems like she felt pretty betrayed as well. She made mountains out of molehills. The edit would make her out as a chaotic player, someone who lashed out at people on the island and got into fights about silly things.

I think some of the notably storylines are :

Ken/Kelly : They seemed to bond on the island from day 1. They seemed to bond pretty early and were inseparable. I feel like they would get the mastermind edit. The show would show them calling the shots for most of the game. I feel like Ken could get a Boston Rob edit this season while Kelly could have more a Natalie (from Samoa) edit. I feel like Kelly was a strong social player and a lot of people really don’t see the game she played. I feel if she had the chance to own her game in the end she could have dominated FTC.

Bill: I feel like Bill would be a good villain for the season. He stirred up a lot of distrust on old Sebou. I feel like he could get a lot of airtime before the merge and during his downfall as well. He was definitely the excuse for ken/Kelly forming the alliance with jtia, jonathan, and Charlie.

Jtia: She was a huge character and an aggressive player this season. She made many alliances and deals in order to further her allies in this game. I feel like she had a good flow of information as well. I feel like she could be edited as the front runner to win, having a lot of control and a dominant position in her alliance. I feel like she had so much control over Dadès but went under a lot of people radars for a good portion. The editing would play up her drama with betsy as her downfall in the end. The idol tribal council would be one hell of a show.

Betsy: I feel like she could get another “villain” edit. She had a strong social game, which got her far in the game. She always knew where she stood in the game. I feel like she could easily be considered the “leader” of the other side. Her downfall could be played up as one of the biggest in the game after the bill voted happened. I feel early on in the game she would be portrayed as a sweet lady, who formed close bonds with many people. She turned her game up after the merge and realized who the threats were in the game and knew that ken/Kelly would eventually come after her. She knew she had to make a move against jtia, and her own aggression may have cost her. She could be portrayed as the front runner to win since she became an outcast and was one of the last 2 standing in the tribe, giving her a very crucial swing vote position going into the merge. I feel like the vote bill went could be played up in editing like the vote in the Caramoan where Malcolm/Corinne tried to rally people against Sherri. I also feel like she could get the Deena edit from Amazon.

Jonathan: I feel like he took a jab at me saying how I don’t deserve to be here, so he’s right back at you ponyboy. I can claim my game as my own. I didn’t have to have someone drag me along as their puppy. My gameplay was protected my own ass this game and making sure the other threats were going before me. Why was I supposed to do anything when things were going just fine and my ass wasn’t on the line? I firmly believe that Jonathan would get the goat edit. I don’t think he made close relationships, he followed jtia’s every word and then we she was gone he latched on to Charlie. You even said how voting out Kelly was better for my game, and Charlie was better for your game but you folded so fast. And you thought you were the 3rd best social player in the game? Come on now dude, you’re lying to the jury and yourself. You talk like a politician, you're good at spinning a story to make you look good. Enough bullshit, at least own your game man.

Charlie: As far as Charlie’s storyline goes, I definitely think it’s more respectable than Jonathan’s. I’m curious what his justification for his winner’s edit is. I think a lot of the reason Dadès got here are through jtia’s aggressive gameplay.

Hayden: He was definitely the fallen hero of the story. Everyone loved him and his vote definitely seemed to have affected a lot of people. If this was the real show, I wouldn’t be surprised to see people crying after he left to be fair.

Eddie: You were definitely an aggressive player as well. I feel like you could get the false mastermind edit. Kinda like hatch was in All Stars. I feel like your “wow” statement is similar to Richard’s “I’ve been bamboozled!” and would make for good TV. It seems like the edit would view you as another fallen hero since you always stuck to your tribe.

Marisa: Marisa would be another fallen hero. She was a victim of the double sausage links, that round sucked. She never did anything to show that she was against Sebou, except there were murmurs that she was close with you (eddie).

Peter: Definitely a victim of the outcasts twist. He was a good guy in the game and I don’t think anybody here can say one bad word about him. Easily a hero.

Fun question, Eddie. I did mine in Episode format. Hope you enjoy.

Episode One: “That’s So Provo”

For 22 people, the adventure of a lifetime begins in the heart of Morocco. The game hits the ground running with an exciting Captain’s Challenge to determine who will be responsible for picking the two competing tribes. After an intense first challenge, the winners of the Captain’s Challenge were Kelly for Sebou and Charlie for Dades. While the two deliberated over their tribes, Eddie and Bill chatted for a bit and secretly hoped they would end up on the same tribe, but said that if they didn’t and both made merge, they could potentially work together. The same happened with Ken and J’Tia. Unfortunately, both pairs were split as the two captains worked quickly to pick their tribes and each headed off to their respective camps, not noticing the Moroccans, led by a mysterious Yoosef, lurking in the bushes as they trudged towards their new homes. On both tribes, things seemed to start off well, with a few noticeable people not pulling their weight. At the first immunity challenge, everyone was shocked to learn of the season’s twist: Sausage Links. They were just as shocked to learn that they would both be going to Tribal Council that evening. The challenge was an individual one, and required a bit of luck and a lot of skill. Ken pulled out a victory for Sebou while Abi-Maria won for Dades. The Sausage Link began immediately after the challenge, leaving Angie, Hayden, and Eddie on the bottom for Dades, and Katie, Marisa, and Russell on the bottom for Sebou.
Back at Dades, Angie began to work hard to keep herself safe, making an alliance with everyone she ran into. Unfortunately everyone quickly found out about her plans, and she was the first voted out of her tribe. On Sebou, Russell began to badger and irritate people, making him the easy first vote.

Episode Two: Royal Flush
After a simple Tribal Council for Dades, things seemed to be pretty at ease. Most of the tribe got along, and the only true problem seemed to be Crystal, who was not pulling her weight around camp or in challenges. Having been close to Crystal in the first couple of days, Jonathan quickly realized that he needed to rethink who he considered an ally. After having conversations amongst the tribe, Jonathan approached J’Tia, Eddie, and Charlie about making a 4-person alliance, and adding Hayden and Dan in as numbers 5 and 6 so that numbers were on their side. All parties agreed, and the alliance felt comfortable amongst themselves.
Over at Sebou, things seemed to be pretty calm as well. Katie was not pulling her weight as much as the others, and people began to talk and form close relationships. Ken and Kelly both started to form a bond while Bill and Yul began to pair up. During all of this, Becky took note, and began to formulate a plan to propose a majority alliance later in the game.
At the immunity challenge, Dadès proved victorious, sending Sebou to Tribal Council where they voted out their weakest member in Katie.

Episode Three: Fade to Black
After the vote, Becky started to plant the idea of an alliance with Ken, Kelly, her, and Yul in other’s brains. While it may have sounded like a good idea, the others were a little wary of Becky, as she seemed to always have ulterior motives.
Over on Dades, the alliance of 4/6 was still going strong, but Eddie began to have his doubts about J’Tia. Eddie and Jonathan chatted a bit about how far J’Tia should go in the game. Unbeknownst to Eddie, Jonathan and J’Tia had formed a tight bond, as J’Tia was good at doing with the boys on her tribe. Jonathan decided to keep Eddie’s plea in the back of his mind, but convinced Eddie that the alliance should stay strong for now. Meanwhile, Abi-Maria and J’Tia began what would be one of the biggest rivalries in the game as both ladies were known for being loud and dramatic.
At the immunity challenge, Sebou proved victorious, sending Dadès to Tribal Council. Despite the feud between Abi and J’Tia, and Eddie’s wariness of J’tia, the tribe stayed strong and voted out their weakest member in Crystal, who apparently didn’t eat her rice.

Episode 4: Heads Shall Roll
The tribes were taken by surprise with a surprise Sausage Link Round. Each tribe competed in a challenge to see who would start the Sausage Link. Dan won for Dades, while Marisa pulled out a victory for Sebou. The Sausage Links put Debbie, Peter, and Abi in the bottom for Dades, and Betsy, Jean-Robert, and NaOnka in the bottom for Sebou. Following the Suasage Link, the hosts revealed that the 6 people left in the bottom would form a new tribe, and that all three tribes would be competing for immunity individually and all would be going to Tribal Council. Jean-Robert, Marisa, and Charlie pulled out wins for their tribe.
At Sebou, the pair of Ken and Kelly and Yul and Bill ultimately decided that Betsy was not to be trusted, and she was sent packing.
At the Rejects camp, Debbie was seen as the weakest link and got the boot.
At Dades, paranoia ran wild. The 6 people remaining were the 6 people who were in an alliance. J’Tia feared that Charlie was with Eddie and Hayden, and that if Dan went home, Jonathan and J’Tia would be in danger. Ultimately, Dan’s fate was sealed as he was deemed the weakest of the alliance.

Episodes 5 – 7
(Sorry I’m combining all of these but these rounds were pretty straightforward and simple, I feel

For the next three rounds, the Rejects tribe was sent to Tribal Council time and time again. On Dades, the alliance almost crashed and burned when Eddie told Hayden about the Core Four alliance. Hayden approached everyone individually, causing J’Tia to go off on Eddie. Fortunately, things were able to settle down, and the tribe was able to go into the merge as a unit. At Sebou, relationships grew as well, helping them go into the merge as a solid tribe. The Rejects numbers began to dwindle. The first to go was NaOnka, who proved to be too volatile and such a loose cannon. Following her departure was Abi-Maria, also a drama-queen, followed by Peter, who became an unfortunate victim of three tribals in a row. Luckily for Peter, he became the first member of the jury.

Episode 8: Back of the Pack

As the two tribes merged, Dadès feared that Betsy and JR would return to their Sebou roots. In an effort to ensure that their names were not mentioned, Eddie, Jonathan, and J’Tia quickly got to work. Jonathan approached Ken, Kelly, and Betsy all individually to make a deal to have each other’s backs if their name came up in any vote discussion, and also planted the idea of a future alliance in their heads. J’Tia rekindled her relationship with Ken, and started cozying up to Betsy and others as well. Eddie rekindled his relationship with Bill, and began to befriend Marisa. At the Immunity Challenge, Bill outlasted everyone else. Out of fear of the idols, the Sebou seven refused to reveal their plan, and the 5 Dadès members waited nervously to see whose game was about to end. At Tribal Council, Charlie took a shot and played his idol, only to be thwarped by Sebou as Hayden became the first member voted out at the merge.

Episode 9: Salt in the Wound

After a dramatic Tribal Council, the remaining Dadès knew their time was limited if something miraculous didn’t happen. Meanwhile, Yul began to strengthen the relationships he had with Ken and Bill for the future of his game. All the while, Ken was ensuring his safety by befriending all of those around him, making sure that he wasn’t a target for anyone. J’tia worked hard to make sure she was safe as well, and Jonathan continued to strengthen the relationships he had formed with Ken and Kelly. A future alliance of Ken, Kelly, J’tia, Jonathan, Betsy, and JR was discussed, as it was known that tribal lines were bound to break soon.
At the Immunity Challenge, it was revealed that there would be a double ended Sausage Link. Dadès knew this was their chance at getting a member of Sebou out. Jonathan and Charlie fought hard to pull off victories for their alliance, and put Ken, Kelly, Bill, Yul, and Marisa in danger.
Before Tribal Council, Eddie pushed hard for Ken to be the one to get votes, as he saw him as the biggest threat. Meanwhile, J’Tia and Jonathan knew that for their plan to work with this new alliance, Ken had to stay, so they pushed for Marisa, as they were worried about her connection with their tribe-mate, Eddie. Eventually, Marisa became the target of the vote and was sent home.

Episode 10: Strategic Cluterfuck of Mammoth Proportions

After the pervious Tribal Council, it was clear that tribal lines were beginning to dwindle. Everyone was aware of it. The 6-person alliance was officially established, while Eddie maintained his connections with Bill, and Charlie sought out an ally in Betsy, proposing a Final 3 with her and J’Tia, unbeknownst to him that the new alliance of 6 was in full swing.
At the Immunity Challenge Auction, Bill bid the highest on Immunity, keeping him safe at that night’s Tribal Council. That evening at Tribal Council, J’Tia and Jonathan knew that they had to turn on one of their closest friends and allies in order to prove their loyalties to their new alliance, and voted Eddie out with the rest of the Sebous.

Episode 11: The Black Ciera

With the new alliance in full swing, things seemed to be looking up for the 6 members. Things seemed to be going well, and they had a clear path to the Final 6, knowing they would have to throw some daggers along the way. At the Immunity Challenge, Majority Rules, a lot was revealed of the tribemates. Ken was seen as in control, Kelly as a hero, J’Tia as strategic, Betsy as trustworthy, etc. Back at camp, everyone was talking about the results of the challenge. Jonathan and Betsy chatted about taking out one of the bigger threats in Ken and J’Tia, who happened to be in their alliance, who was targeting Bill. While Jonathan could see some benefit to making a big move with Betsy, he ultimately decided that it would be in his best interest to lead her, Bill, JR, and Yul on, having them believe he was voting J’Tia, so that Betsy and JR would no longer be trusted by Ken and Kelly, allowing J’Tia and Jonathan to go further with them. In the end, Jonathan sided with his allies and voted Bill out.

Episode 12: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

After a dramatic Tribal Council, a new 5-person alliance of Ken, Kelly, J’Tia, Jonathan, and Charlie was formed and they set their sights on Betsy. Yul’s ally in Bill was now gone, so he began to rely on his ties with Ken, though he felt a bit betrayed by Ken and Kelly. Betsy and JR began to target J’Tia, who they still saw as a huge threat, and they had less ties to her than they did to Ken, the other threat in the game. At the Immunity Challenge, Ken and Yul walked away with Immunity. The plan was set in motion to vote out Betsy at that night’s Tribal Council. When the tribe arrived to Tribal, Jean-Robert played his Individual Immunity Idol he had won in the auction. When the votes were cast, Betsy revealed her Hidden Immunity Idol, and J’Tia was ousted with the next highest number of votes.

Episode 13: One Hell of an Evening

The next round was a speed round. With J’Tia gone, Jonathan had lost his closest ally, and began to focus on his relationships with Charlie, Kelly, and Ken to make sure each of them kept him safe. The round was pretty smooth for the alliance of 4, and with Ken’s ties to Yul, Betsy was eliminated at the following Tribal Council after Ken had won Immunity.

Episode 14: #RideOrDie

With JR the clear next target, he made a last effort to sway Jonathan and Charlie to his side, but to no avail. The alliance of 4 took JR out, as he targeted Kelly for her sweet and heroic demeanor and her acclaimed plan to get to the Final 3

Episode 15

At the beginning of one of the final rounds, everything seemed pretty clear. Yul was the next to go, being the only member remaining not in the majority alliance. When Kelly won Immunity, everything seemed clear-cut. However, Ken and Kelly had another plan. They believed Charlie to be a bigger jury threat than Yul, and targeted him, approaching Yul to vote with them while having Charlie and Jonathan believe they were voting Yul. Yul crept out of the shadows and made a move, alerting Charlie and Jonathan of their plan and getting rid of Ken, the biggest threat remaining in the game.
Despite having disagreed on the last vote, Charlie, Kelly, and Jonathan still wanted to sit next to each other in the Final 3, again leaving Yul on the outs. At a very crucial Immunity Challenge, Yul pulled out a victory. When it came time to vote, Yul targeted Kelly with Charlie, and Kelly set her sights on Charlie. Jonathan found himself in the middle. Getting rid of Charlie would have been the smarter move, and would have benefitted him in the Final Tribal Council. However, he decided he would like to end his game on a loyal note, and voted Kelly out as he had been aligned with Charlie for the entire game. Kelly then became the last member of the jury, leaving Yul, Jonathan, and Charlie as the Final 3 of Sausage Island: Morocco.

Not necessarily but you didn't cover who would really get focus/what the bigger storylines would be.

(Also, I'd appreciate it if you answered for Jonathan instead of just bashing him for a paragraph - playing dirty is fine but you didn't really answer the question as it applies to him)

My bad. I feel like Jonathan would get an edit similar to Becky from Cook Islands. He'd be portrayed as a loyal follower who was someone's #1 for the duration of the game. I wanted to show the hypocrisy of his statement when he said that I didn't deserve to be here. I didn't want to play dirty, I just didn't appreciate him saying something that's not true.

I apologize for not answering the question correctly, I'll try to go more in depth. I tried to describe each person in particular and how the cameras would portray them but I'll try to describe some storylines and where they fit in the editing.

I feel like there are 3 people who would get a lot of camera time pre merge (jtia and ken/kelly)

Ken/Kelly would get a lot of focus from the cameras. I feel like both of them are a good combination of character and player. They are two people that worked close together the whole season and never turned on each other. They had control for most of the season. I feel like on original Sebou, most of the story would focus on them since they could be portrayed as the leaders of the tribe.

On Dades, I feel like the main storyline would be the "cool kids" alliance. jtia seemed to be the focus of a lot of strategy as well as conflict on Dades. There were people gunning for her but she made sure to keep tight bonds with the cool kids. Her conflicts with Abi Mari also would make for great TV. Her aggressive gameplay and likeability let her put herself in a strong alliance this whole game and if it wasn't for that idol I think she could have been sitting here in the end. I feel like she could get the "mastermind" edit for the Dadès tribe.

In the merge I feel like the focus still stays on ken/kelly and. But I feel that Bill, Betsy, and me get more camera time at this point as well. I feel like on old Sebou bill's storyline gets built up. They would definitely play up the distrust he had between him and ken/kelly but nothing has amounted from it. As the merge comes, ken/kelly have distrust for bill and he has distrust for them as well. After his vote, Ken/kelly really get established as the power players. They put themselves in a good position and have the numbers going forward. The cameras focus on Betsy as well since she is trying to make deals but finds out that she was left on the outs when Dadès made a deal with ken/kelly.

I can have the storyline where I'm on the outs, but not necessarily on the bottom. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong so far. I could have an edit similar to Spencer from Cagayan at this point. The immunity wins help me survive another day as my allies fall around me, eventually leaving me by myself. At final 5 I'm finally able to make a move, probably the biggest move since the Bill vote or the idol play. Final 4 immunity is do or die, and it's something that I needed to win. The underdog has made it this far and I needed one more immunity to make it to the end and have a chance to plea my case to the jury. I feel as the season progresses I get more and more airtime. It fits my UTR (under the radar) strategy as well.

I hope that's satisfactory, I tried to do my best to show who I think the cameras would be focused on most this season as well as the edit individual players would receive.
