Come on in guys!
Bill voted out at last night's Tribal Council. Immunity is back up for grabs.
Only eight remain! Let's get to your next challenge...
...but first!
At the auction, Betsy was the recipient of one of the mystery prizes. Her prize was a message in a bottle that could only be opened at the final eight. It was opened for her last night. Let's see what was inside...

Partner Selection
The final eight Immunity Challenge will require partners to compete as a team for Immunity. The winning pair will win Immunity and both be safe from your upcoming Tribal Council.
It's your job to create the pairs!
Before 7:30 tomorrow night (one hour before the challenge), you must post the duo selections in here. You'll create four teams of two players. Once you post your list here, it will be finalized. The rest of the players will be told that you were the one who created the pairs tomorrow night.
Big choice! Your decision will certainly have an impact on the round and possibly the rest of the game. Please post your list in here when you can. You may discuss this with whoever you wish.
...it appears there's something else in here!
Rolled up in the bottle is another, smaller note. This note will not be opened until after the F8 Tribal Council.

We'll talk more about the smaller note later on. For now, let's see the pairs that Betsy formed:
These will be the pairs for tonight's challenge. The winning pair will both win Immunity and be safe from tonight's Tribal Council. Let's get to the challenge...
This challenge will take place in heats. Each heat will be one pair vs. another. The heats have been randomized:
Heat 1: Kelly and Jon vs. Charlie and JR
Heat 2: Ken and Yul vs. Betsy and J'Tia
Heat 3: Winners
I will host Heat 1, Brett will host Heat 2. The winning pair of each heat will meet again in the finals, and the pair that wins that will win Immunity.
You and your partner will be facing off against the opposite pair on a large chess board. If you watched Big Brother last night, you'll see that they clearly hacked into our production board and stole our challenge. Ours plays out the same way.
The rules of the game are very simple. Taking turns, you'll move around the board as a knight does in chess. A knight can only move in an L shape. Two up or down, one sideways. Two sideways, one up or down. It's quite simple. If you don't know how a knight moves, ask your partner or look it up online quickly. A knight can also jump over other players.
When you stand on a space, you'll turn the tile over to red. That space will then be out of play and can no longer be stepped on. The goal of the challenge is to think ahead with your partner and attempt to trap the other two players. Once it becomes a players' turn and they can't make a move, they're eliminated. The first duo to lose both of its members loses the heat and is eliminated.
Now, the way we're running this challenge is going to be very experimental, but hopefully it'll be fun and go smoothly. Instead of hosting it on the board taking turns uploading updated images, we'll be running the entire thing in a Google Docs spreadsheet.
A spreadsheet is basically an excel file that allows multiple users to view and edit it in real time, all at once. All players will be sent a link to the file where you'll run the challenge. Don't hand the file out to anyone else. The people viewing will be listed at the top of the file.
IMPORTANT. We've tested out spreadsheets to be sure anonymity is preserved. Do not click on the chat feature on the site. Once you do, you will no longer be anonymous if you have an account. To be extra careful, we suggest logging out of your google account for the time being if you have one.
When you're anonymous, it gives you a fake name and a unique color. Once you enter the file, check in by clicking on the square with your name on it. That will highlight your square with your color, so we'll know which color belongs to which player.
After that, the game will begin. You may take no more than five minutes per turn. If your partner isn't here and it's their turn, they'll be eliminated at he end of five minutes. You cannot move for your partner. It is however very possible to win this challenge on your own. Your partner will still win Immunity with you.
We'll be inviting you all to a group chat to further explain the rules and how to update the spreadsheet. It's all very easy, don't worry.
The pair that wins Immunity will both be safe from tonight's Tribal Council. For the six who lose, one of you will be going home tomorrow night.
Survivor's ready?
