Hello John and Jamie. Congratulations on getting to the final two. I have a real simple task for you guys. I would like you to tell me who would be on the DVD box of this season (Six people), their placements on that box, and why. Bonus points if you actually create a DVD box graphically to represent your choices.

Additionally, I would like to ask John a stand alone question. I simply want to know why you played for second place? At this point, the only reason we're having this final tribal council is to see whether Jamie wins unanimously or not.

Hi Rich. I had a blast playing this game, I met some new people I got to be a part of some blindsides and I played hard to get where I am so if I get 2nd place with a unanimous vote against me then it's not a total loss in the end. You know, coming into this I knew it'd be tough. Jamie was in everybody's ear and we know it. I just think you should hear me out a little more, I know I've been slow as shit but I'm getting to these questions now, before making up your mind. For some people it might be harder to play a UTR game and not need to be the center of attention for things. There's a good chance I wouldn't be here now if I tried to be flashy and be in the spotlight but that doesn't mean I was sitting idle. I did work hard, made deals, was able to keep my cards close instead of flaunting them and still got to the end.

Maybe I didn't play a game you respect. It's probably not how you like to play from what I saw in the rounds we were on the same tribe. It's been fun playing this game, and I'll work on a DVD cover because that sounds like fun, I like that kind of stuff. Just wanted to get your question done first.

Thanks John. I'm just curious if you two plan on doing the other part of my question? If not, I'll just make my vote.

Top Row

Left

Leann: In the beginning of the game Leann started off being the captain of one of the three original tribes which usually in the Sausage Series was a curse but she defied the odds and made a great leader. Throughout each and every tribe she went to, she was able to adapt to any given situation and make sure she stayed in the game doing so by being pretty frank and yet at the same time ambiguous with how she communicated with people throughout the season. She was targeted for being the ‘leader’ of the Lugata tribe and was painted by the Gwad tribe as a devil for taking out Yau Man during the tribal council in which John was saved but even with the stigma attached to her she was able to form close bonds with people who had power in the game like herself and won crucial immunities that propelled her game even further on top of using the auction item of the key to the brig to her advantage to gain an idol in her favor to pretty much secure her spots near the end-game no matter if people were wanting to pick her off or not. On the way out she was great with jury management by not making deals with people leaving the game and not having to break her word, which is a risky game but she was able to have it work for her except for the last immunity challenge. When I think of Sausage Island 7, Leann is one of the names that pops into my head immediately. She was savvy, blunt and kickass in challenges all around and had the eccentric sense of humor lacking in the gaming world nowadays.

Jamie: Just like John I think the cover wouldn’t be the same without the final 2 being on it because the end-game consisted of the both of us and in any Survivor season I feel like the final 2 would be on there regardless. I would definitely be the villain of the season since I played a self-interested game the whole way through, I was able to make genuine bonds with people that would allow us all to synergize proactive plans as a unit to help each other throughout the game. I helped someone out by staying and in return they helped by watching out for me along the way. I played a dirty game and covered my bases from all sides, even when I was voted every single positive thing during the majority rules challenges. People on their way out would tell me time and time again that I would be targeted but I was confident in the relationships that I built that I felt confident in each and every decision I made which turned out to be correct as I’m here in the final 2. Every single ounce of strength I knew I had in me I utilized, such as my ability to connect with people, make them like me and trust me and form the same objectives in the game to help us both in a beneficial manner. I did this without ever receiving a single vote against me the whole season even though I was seen as the biggest threat during the merge by my fellow people. In addition, no matter if people love or hate me now everyone has an opinion about me which makes me a dynamic character in the series, IMO.

Right

John: It wouldn’t be a cover if the final 2 wasn’t featured on it, so for that, my compadre would definitely be put on the cover. John while playing a pretty UTR game was able to get himself all the way to the final 2. He played a cleaner game than most of us, in which yes he broke deals, but people weren’t mad at him for it because they weren’t as socially connected to him as they were to others so they didn’t take it as a stab in the back. He even backed out on voting for Chet during the f5 round knowing that Chet way leaving anyway since Leann had the idol in her back pocket and everyone but Chet was set on voting Chet during that tribal council period while he threw his vote to Leann to ultimately stay loyal to him to the bitter end. John was probably the ‘hero’ in the game, if I had to relate his game to one single word.

Bottom Row

Left

Greg: What. A. Fucking. Character. Greg would be the more game savvy Fabio, even if you did not like Fabio in Nicaragua the guy could make you laugh over anything possible. People may think this is a WTF choice but I really don't think it is and I'll stand by it until the bitter end. I don't care if he didn't make the jury, allstars doesn't always have the people who made it the further, the people who played the best game and all that bullshit. Allstars is about creating a mixture between the people who were successful at the game in terms or strategy and then adding in people who brought their dynamic personalities to life throughout the experience and Greg did just that. People could also say Greg was robbed, he was blindsided and backstabbed pretty early on in the game so he has that story arc going for him and the videos he posted both in his boot tribal council/his jury question (even if all of it wasn't positive reinforcement on my behalf) are exactly what this online gaming community needs. A personality. Someone who will speak their mind and Greg does just that. He doesn't bullshit people a whole lot, he gets straight to the point and people love him for it. He mentioned in his happy trails video that he made a video earlier in his confessional making me think he did a whole lot of videos during the game and that is like a dream for the hosts to experience, candid reactions to this unique journey we've all been thrown into. Polarizing figures in allstar games make it fun, make the game interesting and Greg was wanting to switch up the game on multiple occasions which is better to view than a player who was just content with where they were at during the game.

Middle

Todd: In this game Todd was a huge fighting spirit the whole way through, he started off getting ranked last on the Lugata tribe and you could tell that from that point forward Todd was going to be someone who spoke his mind no matter what. This greatly helped Todd’s game as he was able to get people to stick with him and go with the way he was voting multiple times because people didn’t have to question where Todd’s head was at, they knew where it was at during the entire game and even if they somehow didn’t all they would have to do is ask him because he had no shame of sticking it to the man when that needed to happen. He had a backbone, he stuck up for what he believed in and more games need someone like that. Especially in an Allstars game where most of the cast members try to float for a while, having someone like Todd there would liven it up especially in the much needed comedic department.

Right

Kelly: If I had to pick a superlative to sum up Kelly’s game in a couple of words it would without a doubt be: the escape artist. Kelly positioned herself perfectly on her original tribe, she didn’t come off as the most threatening member of the tribe but she had ties to those people and was able to connect with some people outside of her original alliance who would want to keep her in the game. Rounds where it looked dire for Kelly’s stay in the game never turned out that way because Kelly was able to adapt to any given position she was set in. In the f5 she saw that no one was going to turn against me so what did she do? Adapt her gameplay. She went with the flow to whatever would keep herself in the game. She didn’t make huge moves or make impulsive moves just for the hell of it, she was probably the person in the entire game who had the best head on her shoulders when it came to being able to sit back and enjoy the ride if she had to. She also has a glowing and snarky personality that makes people enthralled with her presence. Her likability alone would have given her the win in the end. She’d be the perfect addition to an allstar edition season.
