First off, I want to thank the hosting staff for providing a pleasurable experience as a fellow Survivor fanatic that allowed me to play a game as close to the real Survivor as possible without being stranded on a beach as I starved to death. The game was top-notch with dedicated hosts, extremely active prediction writers and 20 comrades to share this journey with. I’m happy I was selected to play with so many others vying for a spot to become a member of the Sausage Island community. So thank you for that!

At the beginning of the game I knew my social game was going to be the most instrumental aspect of my game during the early stages of the game. That’s the time where people are looking for people they share a bond with, someone they can trust and assessing who would be the early targets whether it be based on a lack of connection or simply inactivity. During the first captain’s challenge I decided to attend real life matters because I was confident I fostered strong enough genuine relationships with a handful of people and I didn’t want to be painted as a huge early target that early on. Based on past history of Sausage Island the captain’s are usually in trouble because of the title alone. It carries a stigma no matter what.

The game also took the approach of being One World and I know talking to a lot of people and forming long-lasting relationships with them would be beneficial for upcoming possible shakeups that the game would undoubtedly bring. Allocating my time and energy and adapting my personality traits to each individual allowed me to have a significant amount of options moving forward in the game, making myself seem as one of the most approachable people in the game. I wanted to be person others would come to with crucial information and strategic ideologies that were running wild in their minds allowing me to file it in the back of my head and kept it there until I needed to use it for my own personal gain. Moreover, remaining one of the most approachable people in the game solidified the influence I would have at each and every tribal council. People came to me and shared valuable information with me without realizing that John was my intended final 2 alliance member since day one which allowed me to assess the target best suited that round for my own longevity going forward in the game.

Finding a final 2 partner early on that you can trust is always a favorable option of mine. To have someone I could gather information with and utilize to my best advantage. Both of us being on different tribes allowed me to focus my energy on other people that helped coordinate a successful route to the finals with addition of having two people from different sides cultivating relationships with people on opposite ends of the spectrum. When I sign up for a game, I give it my all. I gave this game my all. I come in with the mindset that I joined the journey as an individual knowing there is only one winner and I assume everyone is always thinking of what is best for their game because after all like previously stated - there is one winner and everyone’s goal at the end of the day is to do just that, win.

On Lugata I was ranked the #1 most well-liked person on the tribe, proving to myself that my social game was successfully working and knowing that the people I built bonds with were genuine so I continued to play up my strength of talking to people. Every single tribe I was put on, no matter the number break down, no matter who I was with I was able to adapt to the current situation/cards I was dealt with and decide what was best for my game and went with it. I did this without having a single vote cast against me all game. Using my resourceful nature to use each and everything that came my way as something that could strengthen my position in the game.

Nothing I ever did in this game was personal. I played the game I felt would get me to the end. In addition, going sixteen hours in an endurance challenge when during the pre-game questions endurance was ranked as my #5 spot incase of a tie I think also proves how much dedication and will I had in this game. It was a marathon and I overcame every single thing throw out me. From being called out at multiple tribal councils as the biggest threat when people departed all the way to being called one from almost everyone left in the game. I truly feel I deserve the title as the winner of Sausage Island because I felt my game of the three main components: strategic, physical and social were exercised in a well-balanced manner. I kept my eyes and ears open and I struck at someone before they had a chance to strike at me. I did not take any moves people rallied against me personally (like Dave targeting me at f8) because at the end of the day I know Dave and I are still going to be friends with each other at the end of the game and I think we both realized our emotional state was stable enough to know we would be friends/able to speak with one another after this was all said and done. I expect some bitterness from some people and I understand that completely, I just hope you come in here with an open mind knowing I played the hardest I could and I believe some people wouldn’t feel as bitter if I didn’t personally connect with them as much as I did. I welcome the questioning and all else I’ll experience in this last stage of the game and I thank each and every one of you for participating in this unforgettable endeavor we call online reality gaming.

I tried to keep this as to the point as I could, since I'm sure a lot will be expanded upon during the final tribal questioning with specifics.

Best of luck, John!
